Quote# 1280

If the theistic evolutionist refuses to answer, or relegates God to the background (thinking him not worth the bother because he isn't empirically detectable), then it is clear that we are dealing not with a theist, but a Darwinist who happens to be agnostic. Again, it would seem that the theistic evolutionist attempts to reconcile what cannot possibly be joined together.

Quote# 1281

However, the existence of life, particularly human life requires something for which Darwinism has no answer: information, faculties of reason, language, increasing complexity, and finally, humanity.

no. i'm sure without a doubt that it's not my mind playing tricks. my testimony isn't about thinking i'm seeing something, cuz it has nothing to do with thinking.

[Replying to 'What if you heard the voice of God telling you to go kill all the atheists?']

If I knew absolutely that is was the voice of God, I would do whatever He commanded me to do.

Frank, if you support abortion, just remember that you will one day be judged on how you treated others, and your opinion very much matters in that regard also. Maybe you will be aborted to Hell.

Quote# 1286

[On euthanasia for the terminally ill who suffer dire pain]

You lose. Suffering is temporary, God is eternal. You won't suffer eternally, Winston, if you love God. But suffering will be eternal for those who oppose God. No one can euthanize a soul in torment. It's just a question of a few years, and we'll all find out for ourselves. --Eternal life; or eternal pain.

Quote# 1287

The sick man has no need for suicide; God will give him death when God sees fit. Suicide is a grave sin as well as euthanasia. We have to reject these sins. They will lead us to eternal pain in hell if we accept them as our free will. God has revealed it; like it or not, Sir.

Quote# 1288

Let me remind you, killing of the weak, infirm, and wounded was known long before this law. It was the butchery of barbarians and savages. You would ask our Church teach that, instead of helping the dying. My faith teaches me to offer up prayer for them, not liquidate them. God has them in His merciful care. Suffering is temporal, hell is eternal.

Quote# 1289

You seem to ignore God's mercy. You don't believe in a merciful God; He's just a myth to people like you. Because you live like animals you want to die like animals.

Quote# 1290

Atheism is cowardice, pure and simple. It's the ultimate "I am my own God, and nothing you say can change my mind" - principle. Admitting that someone else is in control would be horrendous, worthy of no good atheist. And not only that: it is also illogical and unsound and not consequent.

Quote# 1291

[Replying to 'Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.']

The claim is not extraordinary. In fact, I would say that atheists' claims are much more extraordinary. I would think that almost every human being believes in some form of spiritual life. Atheists are the minority. But of course, they must be right, since they know what is really going on. Way to go...!

Quote# 1292

If there is no God, and pleasure is the only thing that makes your life worth living, you live for pleasure. If you live for pleasure, you idolize pleasure. If you idolize pleasure, it is only reasonable to ask why you shouldn't do things that give you pleasure. You could see prostitutes. A lot of pleasure, presumably. Illegal, but hey, somebody will always pay prostitutes. You could drive your car 150mph. Illegal? Yes, but if the street is clear, no harm done. You could smoke a big fat joint. Illegal? Yes (depending on where you live), but hey, it's for medicial purposes. You could work really hard and hobnob with the big shots. Never mind that you may have to turn into a back-stabbing, lying, cheating SOB. Finally, you could rape a woman or kill a homeless person. Pleasurable? not for me, but maybe for some people.

You see. Morals are no good unless they are absolute. Life for pleasure is not worth living. I have sought pleasure a lot and was eventually disappointed. The search for pleasure or joy is a search for God. Nothing and nobody else can satisfy lastingly.

Quote# 1293

Well,...as expected.., no evolutionist could come forward and enlighten us with the information of which type of hominid female first gave birth to a Cro-Magnon baby. That eloquently says all that needs to be said about the validity of the evolution theory.

Bigfoot simply doesn't exit right? Ok so why all the fuss about it then? Could this be an attempt by some people to confirm evolution? I understand scientists don't use this of course, but could it be an attempt by laymen to prove evolution?

Quote# 1298

But the FACT is observing, testing and reproducing results with DNA, Fossils, decay rates, or whatever tests and gives you results on DNA, Fossils, decay rates, or whatever. It does NOT test, nor give results on evolution. Want to call it a theory of DNA, go for it. THAT is honest."

"Furthermore, I said that I do not really even care about decay rate changes because I believe the world was created mature and fully functional which would mean to these tests, it would look old."

Cult is too mild a word.

Out of curiosity, what makes you believe that Christianity is a religion of tolerance? We adhere to, and teach that there is only one way to heaven. We proclaim the truth that there is one God. You were misinformed when you were told that this is a religion of tolerance.
