Quote# 283

[Replying to questions of how it can possibly be fair to condemn people based on religion]

Jews, still waiting for the Messiah. They saw Jesus, knew He was the Messiah but chose not to believe Him. The reason the Jews didn't believe in Him was because He didn't typify what God's son would look like. Jesus was plain looking and rejected even among His desciples. The Jews hated Christ.

Islam is really Satans religion. The Muslims accept Christ as a prophet from God but believe Muhammed to be the son of God. The Muslims also believe the OT and NT to be valid forms of doctrine. Now why would God want 'terrorism' to be the main focus of religion. Simply read the Quran, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Christianity is the one TRUE religion. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We are taught everything Good in this world. God is from the light, there is no darkness in him and as soon as your realise this then you'll see why other religions are wrong. Muslims, Jews, Atheists etc may never change their word because Satan is deceiving them into believing they are right... I can only pray for them.

Quote# 282

[On the rather unwholesome idea that Jewish people killed in the Holocaust are now in hell for eternity because they didn't accept Jesus]

If the gassed jews are in hell then they're in hell. It doesn't change the way I feel about God. I think that most probably are (except the children). God plainly states He sends no one to hell, but can only save people from hell. He gave people free will to choose heaven or hell... it's actually a choice. I infact believe that since God desires us to be like Him then eventually everyone will end up in Heaven since I don't believe in eternal punishment as justfication. This may go against my Christian beliefs but it's how I truly feel and if I'm wrong... oh well.

['Is there a point where we should reject a powerful tyrant's authority even at great risk of personal injury?']

Yeah if you want to go to hell. I don't.

[On infants dying of horrendous, torturous birth defects]

Chew on this.

Innocent child is brought into this world! This child is terminally ill and will not survive. This child has not yet had the oppurtunity to sin or lead a sinfull life whatsoever.
Thusfare, the child dies (in wordly fashion) and goes to GOD's kingdom.

Meaning no life of sin, but an eternity of eternal and everlasting life!

[Replying to allegations that Christian extremists can be just as bad as Islamic ones]

Christianity is NO WAY supports the KKK. The KKK may be made up of Christians (I don't know) but they are rascist and not Godly. They are not doing the will of God and what has been taught to them. Abortion clinics are usually the result of hippie do-gooders. Any Christian associated with abortion clinic bombings is doing much evil in the eyes of God. Of course there are going to be so called Christian whackos out there who are going to shame the Christian faith by doing evil deeds, but they are simply rebelling against God... or taking matter into there own hands. I ask you to not base your perception of the Christian religion based on the immoralities of idiots. I ask you to read the Bible, a law based on love, kindness and most importantly, truth. There you'll seek the true nature of God.

Which Quran were you reading? Of course people will tell you Islam is of love and peace but don't be fooled. Believe me when I say many Muslima in America wants glory to be Allah and death to the congress. For Islam is held higher than any national patriotism. Of course there are good Muslims out there... they just understand the difference between 'right' and 'wrong'. I ask you to actually read the doctrines before making generalisations about a particular faith.

[Replying again to allegations of hypocrisy relating to Islam and Christian extremists]

How sad. I can tell you right now that as much hatred you have for us then you can double the hatred Muslims feel for you. Feel free to defend the Muslims... the ones that teach death to all people who aren't in the Muslim faith. No the Muslims don't give a flying f**k about YOU or America. How can you be so naive... or are you just a sheep... following the crowd? No, the only people who care about you greatly are the Christians. Do you not understand that? Open your friggin eyes and take a good hard look around.

Quote# 276

[Probably wondering about Bible verses describing Satan as the 'prince of the powers of the Earth']

This may sound stupid but it's food for thought none the less.

If Satan is behind all temptation and works the ground of the earth then wouldn't temptation be non existent in space, since Satan is not in space but on earth?

So basically what I'm saying is did the people who went into space (Armstrong, Space station etc) ever feel tempted by anything ungodly?

If they didn't well then that proves temptation is from satan but if they did then I think that can be explained by inner demons... of which we all have.

Any thoughts?

Theories in science tend to be educated guesses. However, if you are educated in theories, all you will get is theories. And indeed (the motto of christianforums) all theories are to a degree assumption. Thus, many are educated in assumption. Cheers for the laws of nature, and cheers for the cure for X, but assumption will never get you anywhere until it becomes fact.

Gerald, I don't believe in it unless God sais it. So unless he tells me about Nessie or Bigfoot, then I don't believe it.

[Replying to 'how is only accepting your knowledge from one source having an open mind?']

Good question, Camaban, however, God is all knowing, and if he tells me about it, whats the need to have more then one source when I already have a 100% reliable source? It takes an open mind to hear God, so as I said, in that way, my mind is open.

A note though, is that I have seen more closed mindedness in the atheists on this site then the christian extremeists I have seen. I stick to my theology, and I well hold strong to what I know unless God tells me otherwise. In that way, my mind is open.

I have experienced things of God, that cannot be denied. I as well as many others have posted many testimonies on things we have experienced. I have experienced things that are not from God, rather from demons, and this is why I turned to God. [...]

I will add that i think that some people lie about some of their testimonies, but millions of christians don't lie about our testimonies.

Quote# 262

God isn't forcing His love upon us. If He did then we would have no choice but to love Him. He'd be taking away our free will. So He's giving us a choice. Love Him and your reward is Heaven. Reject Him and condemn yourself to Hell. They are the two options God has presented us with and the ONLY two options. Remember God doesn't send us to hell, we condemn ourselves to hell. You give your wife a choice, "stay with me and we'll spend the rest of our lives together or go your away and never see me again". Are we as Christians afraid of Hell? Very much so, but it's necessary for us to keep our love in the Lord or risk losing faith.

All that aside, do you live in a freakin' cave? Do you have any gay friends? Good grief, if you want to talk about homosexuality and consequences, as my dead grandfather. Yep, gay, and dead at 56. AIDS. Most of my gay friends are on the same route. Every time one of my friends comes out of the closet I cry. Not because of sin, but because I know how they are going to die. Its a dangerous road they are on. Homosexuality is rarely about two commited life partners. It is usually about getting laid a lot from a lot of different people.
