Quote# 3372

Plants are not flesh. They do not breathe as we do. They do not breathe what we do. And it isn't beside the point. It is the point. God himself does not call a plant a creature. There is no reason for you to.

Also note that God's list of living certainly does not include the plant kingdom.

Quote# 3368

Why don't u believe? If ur one of those scientific thinkers I can give u a few scientific LAWS that prove Gods here. I mean how can u look at our world and our universe and say a thing of nothingness exploded and our world was here. Everything points to a creator Especially the universe.

Quote# 3367

I'm sure that most evolutionists don't know enough about the 'proof' of evolution; it's just that they've been taught this all their lives, and so understandably accept it as true.

Quote# 3366

OK, so what if the earth is billions of years old. So what? That doesn't prove evolution exists. Besides, in the Bible, it never states how long it was between the creation of man and the fall of man. It could have been billions of years. Civilizations like Atlantis could have existed in this period.

Although I agree that not every Jew wanted Jesus dead, they do not get off the hook for having Him put to death.

Quote# 3361

I had a tree limb hit me in the head, and by all appearances to all who were present, I was dead. But when my wife cried out a prayer to God, I began to breathe again. Now you can discount all this and laugh it away, but the fact remains that they and many other miracles have happened during my walk with the Lord. Why didn’t He just heal my bones and why did I have to spend 5 days in the hospital after I got hit by that tree limb? God knows.

Atheism is about an inflated ego trip. This forum reflects that. You all are so full of yourselves that you have painted your self into a corner, so when your back is against the wall, your pride won’t allow you to look to Jesus for help. What a sad state you are in.

Quote# 3359

This begs the question, doesn't it? If we are examining the existence [and origin of] of languages based solely on what we have in front of us, I know of no studies which show, empirically, that human language develops as the human brain develops.

Quote# 3357

to the evolutionist: name one indisputable fact that demands that the universe must be billions of years old. You will find that your view on the age of the world and the universe is not a product of evidense, but simply the result of what you have been taught.

Quote# 3356

See, thats the problem, people should treat the bible as a science book. All 'THEORY' that doesnt support the bible is wrong. As for evoultion, i'm not even going to get into this augement, but if the bible says we came from single cell organism's, then yea, sure evolution is true. Thank God i dont see that verse in the bible though.

Quote# 3354

Here is an example that parallels the absurdities of evolution. Say that I took a TV, and I smashed it into tiny little pieces. If I poured those pieces into a huge container, would I have a chance of forming that TV again. The same for evolution. How is it possible that tiny particles formed debris to even start the process? Better yet how did those particles get there in the first place? What are the chances of one particle forming all that we see today?

Sherrie is right, gay people do recruit. When I was 18 I had a roommate that tried to recruit me. She got me very confused. God did help me thru it and would not let me stray.

Quote# 3348

Hence, [St.] Augustine was able to believe, despite what scripture says, that God created all things instantaneously. Once a person goes that far in his 'interpretations' he might as well join Bishop Spong in that person's assertion that 'the only part of the Apostle's Creed I believe is that Jesus Christ died and was buried'. With Christian 'friends' like that who needs enemies?
