I have often felt losing my beautiful daughter to the caricature of the “man” she has become is like losing her to death without being able to even have a funeral.. I loved being his mom. I enjoyed raising him and felt so close to him. I loved him and I felt he loved me. We would have long talks, even friendly debates about things we saw differently. We played basketball together, watched Little Bear, went to the zoo, camping, picnics, bike rides, played games and had countless other special experiences that bonded and connected us. He was my little buddy.
Today, my heart is broken, my life is shattered. My boy is being erased by someone with a girl’s name. This new person has taken his place. “She” is different and not like my son at all. As transition has progressed, my son has faded away and slowly disappeared.
The face has changed; the voice is strange. Who is this person? “She” comes off as self-righteous and condescending. "She" is critical and accusatory. “She” pressures me to believe things I don’t believe and then calls me ignorant when I don’t conform. Is this normal and healthy? My precious, sweet boy is gone. I feel confused, bewildered, overwhelmed, and a profound sense of loss and grief.

We were deemed abusive because we did not want our son harmed by hormones and surgery. We wanted him to go into adulthood healthy. That was our abuse.
But, the way I see it, the abuse is the other way around. We—the parents—are being abused. We have tried to stay calm and loving to see if our son can figure out the real truth. Meanwhile, our son was granted permission to treat his parents badly by the teachers and counselors at school. Our parenting was undermined by our child thinking that his parents don’t know best. Who taught this to him? The state has decided to take over raising our child…but who will be there when this kind of action doesn’t go well when he’s an adult. That’s right—only us, his parents.
Today, at the graduation ceremony, this abusive school called out the girl name as he walked up to get his diploma. That was not the picture I had in mind when he started school. My husband and I couldn’t even clap. We sat quietly, stunned. The school took his name away from us too. The school put his girl name in the yearbook. Will he regret this one day? We couldn’t stop it. We, the parents have no voice.

I would give anything if my son were 16 again. I don't care what it took. Pulling him out of school, taking away internet, phones, etc. I would find a way to let him know how precious and perfect he already was. You have two more years that she is still under your control. Even if I had to move away. I don't care where to, I would do it. Sean Davis, the CEO of The Federalist, one of the most hardcore pro-Trump outlets in the U.S., railed against the court’s 6-3 ruling Tuesday and called for the “dissolution of the Union” in a social media post critics described as “unhinged”
After the major defeat, Trump called on Congress to enact legislation to end the enshrined right, but Davis does not believe the president is going far enough on the matter
“Several ways forward here given the choice of Roberts/Barrett to nullify the 14th Amendment and extra-constitutionally replace it with their own language,” Davis began, referring to Chief Justice John Roberts and Trump-appointee Amy Coney Barrett, before laying out his seven-point plan
“1) Nullification. States issue birth certificates, and they can just stop issuing them to non-citizens. Roberts/Barrett can deal with the fallout and litigate each birth individually,” he suggested. “2) Pack the court. If Robert wants to be a politician who writes laws instead of a judge, then he can fight with 10 more unelected legislators in robes”
Points three through five were even more extreme
“3) Deny entry to all pregnant foreigners,” Davis said. “4) Deny entry to all female foreigners. 5) Require sterilization of all foreign visitors prior to entry”
“6) Dissolution of the Union. A nation which can’t even restrict who gets to be a citizen isn’t a nation,” Davis added
His seventh suggestion was to amend the Constitution

The element of coercion in such activity is impossible to ignore, once you look at it objectively, from the perspective of personal liberty. Other people are free to do as they please, but their liberty does not deprive me of the freedom to criticize whatever it may please them to do. What “Pride Month” and other such LGBTQ activism is really about is depriving us of our freedom to disagree with whatever policies they advocate or to express disapproval of their behavior in any way — to make themselves exempt from criticism: Disagreement is HATE!
Recently, I was researching a car accident that killed a family of four for a story — two married parents and two children. When the news article listed the mother’s occupation as “stay-at-home mom,” I thought, “I wonder if they were Christians.” Sure enough, I soon learned that the family had been heavily involved in an evangelical church of immigrants from the former Soviet Union.
This journalistic hunch has proven correct more than once, and its accuracy is not even limited to news reports. My wife and I enjoy watching cooking competitions, and we can usually predict which contestants are Christians simply by observing how normal they are. Is the person happily married to a person of the opposite sex? Check. Does he or she have children and enjoy their company? Check. People whose lives look “normal” are most likely Christian, at least based on my anecdotal but careful observation.
