Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Wednesday that he is rolling out a new screening program for “testosterone deficiency” among troops, calling it necessary to allow them to operate at their “absolute best.”

The screenings will be conducted annually as part of service members’ required medical screenings for those 30 and older, he said. Troops under 30 can volunteer to be tested. In a video on social media, Hegseth said receiving testosterone replacement therapy would be voluntary.

When asked about what conditions Hegseth was looking to address with the new policy, the Pentagon referred to Hegseth’s remarks in the video that talked about keeping troops “strong, resilient and capable” and that the rigors of the modern battlefield demand “maximum psychological and mental readiness.”

Over the past several years, special operations troops — and specifically Navy SEALs — have come under scrutiny for their use of testosterone and similar substances to enhance performance.

The death of a SEAL recruit during training in 2022 led to a discovery of substances in his possession, including testosterone, and revealed far more rampant drug use among the elite program than was previously acknowledged.

A year after the recruit’s death, the Navy said it would begin a drug-testing program to screen for “any hormonal substance, chemically or pharmacologically related to testosterone, that promotes muscle growth.”

Hegseth said his new initiative is “not about artificial enhancement.”

The Pentagon did not respond to questions about what research or academic studies underpinned the move. It also didn’t say if female troops would be able to be screened for lowering estrogen as they entered perimenopause.

Once again I am fantasizing about killing people to cope with the fact that I can't have sex.

These fantasies help me get through particularly painful episodes because I escape into a fictional reality where I feel I have been delivered some measure of justice. There are two aspects to my pain. The first is the injuries I have already suffered. The experience of my life thus far at 31 years of age. My youth has come and gone, and I didn't get to experience sex once. I think about the countless number of cute girls I've known and met and come across throughout my life who I felt attracted to, none of whom felt attraction to me. It feels so gravely unjust to me that everyone else gets to experience mutual sexual interest, but I don't. For some reason I have been designated to be denied that experience. And let’s be clear about the relationship between child labor and compulsory school. It is direct. It was at the very time that governments at the state and local level were banning labor for kids that these same kids were subjected to force in making them go to school. You can talk all you want about capitalist exploitation but it makes no sense to overlook a situation surely as problematic: any kid not in his or her school desk was subjected to be kidnapped in the name of enforcing laws against so-called truancy. All those photos dig deep into the past and conjure up weird dystopian scenarios, none of which have anything to do with today. If kids were allowed to work and compulsory school attendance was abolished, the jobs of choice would be at Chick-Fil-A and WalMart. And they would be fantastic jobs too, instilling in young people a work ethic, which is the inner drive to succeed, and an awareness of attitudes that make enterprise work for all. It would give them skills and discipline that build character, and help them become part of a professional network.

1. They might discover that more men than women do this job. And from this they could conclude that 'equality' between men and women has not been achieved.
2. The statistics might show that the women tend to spend more of their money on clothes for the job than do men, and that, therefore, women should be paid more - often by sneaking the money back to them through the tax system.
3. The statistics might show that women take more days off work for childcare reasons or for hormonal problems and so they ought to be compensated in some way for this.
4. The statistics might show that women spend more time mopping up the floor than do the men ...
And so on and on it can go.
My point is that the search for 'equality' can never end, and that in the process of searching for this impossible goal, the stirring up of male hatred is usually a major consequence - and, indeed, in the case of feminists, it is a purposeful aim.
Furthermore, given that 'equality' can never be achieved (even in simple matters to do with pay) the never-ending search for it by the feminists in all sorts of areas will forever involve the stirring up of hatred towards men in all sorts of areas.
