Quote# 5881

And as for apes losing their fur to become humans is that I don't get why the more hair/fur you have on your skin the stupidier you are. It makes no sense.

Quote# 5880

Now, first you mean initially an asexual ape evolved into two different kinds of creatures: male and female. Now, it so incredible that the evolution remained so consistent throughout the ages that male and female remained branched as two radically different creatures.

Quote# 5879

It is just that Evolution itself cannot prove that there are two different creatures in the same species: male and female. I backed up with the point on that 'mutant' Y chromosome.

Quote# 5878

When and how does Evolution makes an asexual ape split into male and female apes? It is logically impossible, unless there is some sort of divine force with us, or any other hypothesis is chipped in with that.

Quote# 5876

I was talking with my Mom today and telling her about the EU, Solana ect. and she totally stumped me with this question 'What exactly is the EU?' At first I was like [scratching head smiley]. I told her that I thought they were the European countries beginning to come together as one 'super country'. That their goal was to eventually unify the entire world as one under the AntiChrist. Was this the right answer essentially or am I way off base. They are also anti-America too right? Or is it anti-democracy.

Quote# 5875

O ye of little faith!... Look, it's quite simple: First, a bunch of space goop got together because of magnetic attraction. Then it got wet. Then the wet enlarged, because of the heat from the Sun, into an ocean. Then lightning (probably from the Sun) hit the ocean and caused some of the little squiggly things to come to life. Then a few of them, through natural selection, crawled out onto the beach. Then those that were stronger survived, and became marsupials and antphibians. Then they fought and some died and some reproduced, and the results were called higher Neanderthals. Then they became men with souls and stuff. How? Well, somethng else happened.

Islam is also founded and maintained with arrogance. Extreme arrogance! I never heard of Scientology. From the way you describe it..it sounds very superficial and vain.

Actually many of the Greek philosophers proposed evolutionary ideas, e.g. Anaximander, Epicurus and Empedocles. This also demolishes silly arguments like 'Newton was a creationist merely because there was no alternative.'

Quote# 5871

Atheism... How unoriginal. How easy. One can believe in nothing or anything. Nothing to defend, everthing to defend. Backed into a logical corner - change your position or deny the laws of logic... They worship the scientific priest class and call themselves free thinkers. Free thinkers who are bound by cultural bias and their own uninformed and small world. Yet they rail against anything that does not conform to their small mindedness. No hope and nothing beyond the material. Yes the easiest world view ever invented by man,but also the saddest...

Quote# 5870

I was thinking about evolution and the many scientific laws it violates, and I realized the biggest law it violates- Murphy's Law. Murphy's Law is that 'if anything can go wrong, it will.' You would have to agree with me that Murphy's Law is a fundemental aspect of everyday life- the bread pops out of the toaster, and falls on the floor. The light turns red as you pull up to the intersection. The plane is delayed due to bad weather. The computer is contaiminated with a virus because you were downloading a bunch of sh*t of a Kazaa. Murphy's Law is the law of chaos, of disorder. Everything goes downhill. However, evolution has to go against this disorder in the universe. That's the point- something from nothing, life form nonlife, order from chaos.

Im a 14 year old christian whos currently taking a biology class. Im learning about cells and genes and dna and lotsa crap like that. I find the complexity of our bodies and life on earth amazing. I cant see how anyone could believe that something like this could just result from some prehistoric explosion.

Quote# 5868

Keeping the infants from growing up and spending a eternity in Hell because they would have inevitably turned evil and required punishment sounds like a good circumstance to me. What would be more important to you - keeping an infant alive to spend an eyeblink of time compared to eternity living in a purely corrupt and evil world, only to grow up and most likely turn evil themselves forcing judgement to be cast on them and have them spend eternity in Hell, or end their life prematurely and take them right to Heaven?

The Holocaust- caused by evolution Soviet Death Purges- caused by evolution Extreme Nationalism- caused by evolution Modern Racism- caused by evolution Conflicts of religion are caused by misunderstandings between religions- not the religion itself. However, a theory that advocates survival of the fittest and that races are superior to others is, well, offensive.

Quote# 5864

Because the universe is expanded Scientists think they've come up with some un-deniable theory of a random 'Big Bang' that in a freak accident created everything we see. They've made up an entire history of the come of earth simply from noting that the universe is expanded.

Quote# 5863

I think I should point out that my post wasn't about the solidarity of the [Evolution] theory, it was about the way many people follow the theory without question. Of course scientists wouldn't care if the theory would be proved untrue, that wasn't the point, the point was that many people who believe in it, would deny it's untruth, just like they did 1000's of years ago.

I believe that evolution doesn't explain away God. For those who believe in evolution, the problem is that if human all follow evolution theory, then human suppose to be stupid and more stupid and our body and brain should become smaller and smaller until what you could imagine. This is because according to evolution theory, human evolve from big apes with huge head or brain and huge size of body, and if according to the speed of human evolve from ape, then now we should just like a small allien and not the one we look likes now where human become smarter and smarter..so I don't believe evolution works at all.

Quote# 5861

Ok lets assume the tornado is in the junkyard for a couple of million years..Still doesnt add up. Complexity will never come from chance or nothing. It would be like taking a watch to an indian who has never seen technology like that and then telling him it just happened and no one made it. My point is evolution does NOT explain away God. It tries to but its failing currently..

Atheists spend a lot of time trying to prove that they know better than God. They do not recognize the words in the bible as being from God. They prefer to believe the truth of their opinions or they wouldn't argue so vehemently for them.
