Quote# 6476

Most of you have responded as if it was the life of a saved person who was going to lose it... the slightly more difficult hypothetical question is when the life of an unsaved person is at stake. Would I renounce Christ to save the life of an unsaved friend of mine, so that she might have a chance at life and coming to accept salvation? I would say that I wouldn't. What sort of example would I set if I were to renounce Christ before her?

Quote# 6475

That used to bother me a great deal. What should I do if...? If I let my spouse die when I could save her with just the words from my mouth would not this be a very great sin? On the other hand how could I deny Christ!? I got the answer in, of all things, a comic book! That very scenario was presented. The doomed character begged, 'Don't do it (deny Christ)! I am saved. My destiny is assured.' That's it. My destiny and hers are assured.

That's powerful man. That awe-inspires the heck outta me. I think I'm going to bring this up to the girl I marry someday too. I mean, your marriage is about you, your spouse with God as the head and all. Must be nice.

Quote# 6473

[Replying to 'would you renounce Christ to save your life and family?']This may sound harsh but one time I told Maria that if I had to make a choice, her life or renouncing Christ, she was going to die. And I expect the same from her!

Quote# 6472

In fact, a woman has no RIGHT to an empty womb; getting pregnant is part of being a woman - that's how it naturally is and, though it might seem unfair, that's how it was meant to be. Who are we to accuse nature of imposing on our supposed rights?

Quote# 6471

[When some vandals beheaded a Virgin Mary statue]It wasn't nice that the stone was broken(by human hands), but who knows, God may have been tired of the idolatry and decided that it had to go. Wouldn't be the first time that God destroyed man's idols that mocked Him and His sovereignty.

Quote# 6470

Shows what people believe when you repeat a lie often enough...sigh. I have known a fair number of gay couples in the past. This is the reality of the situation - gay couples love each other so much that they bed with a parada of other partners without a second thought. I have not known any exceptions to this behaviour amoung them. These so called gay couples usually start breaking apart when both decide to sleep with the same other person and jealousy kicks in. 'Coupleship' is a joke amoung the gays I have known. If society said, 'Ok, everyone can get married but it will be a criminal offense to commit adultery, and you can only get married once.' the gay communtiy would go ballistic . It is not what they want.

Quote# 6469

I cannot believe what I saw on the news last night*... there was an interview w/a CatholicParishoner... Full-face, on his forehead was a large black smudge... this mark bore no resemblance to a cross whatsoever. In my entire life, never had I seen this sight!I chalked it up to just a real radical person. The last time I saw a smudge like that was on Charles Manson. Then, it showed the people coming out of the church a moment later. I sat and stared in total amazement...people walking out of that Catholic church had the same black smudge on their forehead!!! Right smack dab in the center! I have never felt such a cold chill as that which enveloped me. I tingled all over in stunned amazement. I told my husband that I wondered if this was just the 'forerunner' [to the Mark of theBeast]? It made an huge impact on me, and it should have done so for the entire Christian population. I don't know why it was 'black' or why it was in the center of the forehead, but one thing I do know, it was a bone-chilling sight![* The above was posted a day or so after Ash Wednesday.]

I am just stating the facts. The Bible is absolute truth. There is some truth in Science and I beleive we can use the Bible to determine what can be considered reliable and what areas of science should be disregarded. The Bible sets the standard that science can only hope to live up to.

Convince you [Genesis is history]? There is a little bit of a problem with that, sense people lived to be 1000 year back then and that maybe a little bit of a stretch for you to believe.

Quote# 6466

Why do you doubt that Eden ever existed and why do you need more than scriptual evidence? We are dealing with Moses here, who has more than proven himself to be reliable as a historian. If you want to live off in your own little fantasy world, your welcome to do that. But if you want to live in the real world, then there are things that people accept that live in the real world.

This forum is a joke. I was really excited because I thought I had found a Christian Forum on the internet. I thought it would be a place where I could discuss politics with God-fearing people. It turns out this isn't a Christian Forum at all, but just another forum for Christian-bashing, Bible-hating, and God-hating leftists. So long all, it was fun while it lasted.* If I want to be censored and persectued for my beliefs I'd rather do it onStormFront.org [a neo-nazi board]. I don't have to do it on a so-called Christian Forum.

Quote# 6462

You using open-minded to describe the majority of pagans and atheists on here is outright laughable. The only reason why the majority of them come here is not to share ideas, but to spew hate speech towards the Bible-believers. I have yet to hear a single logical explanation from a pagan or atheist. Could you site a specific example because I have no idea what you're talking about?

Atheist Forum or Satanic Forum?.. I think the Politics section of this board should be renamed either to Atheist Forum or Satanic Forum. The majority of people who post their Bible-hating drivel on here are non-Christians. And it seems none of the forum rules apply to them but only to Christians.

Quote# 6457

God undoubtedly told this account [Genesis 1] to Adam... The second story was Adam's account, which like many newspaper accounts is not necessarily in chronological sequence like the first story... it was a collection of stories, written by eyewitnesses to the events they describe. Some of these would have been preserved on the Ark by Noah, and Moses, being a Prince of Egypt prrobably found them preserved in the libraries in Egypt. He must have been inspired by God to compile the stories into a single document which we today call the Book of Genesis... It certainly makes far more sense than believing that God dictated all that to Moses or that Moses made it all up.

This seems to be inconsistant with surveys. This makes evolutionists mad, because even though all the schools and media outlets teach that monkeys and Man descended from a common ancestor, most people have enough common sense to reject such a preposterous claim.

I was listening to KNEW 910 San Francisco and a gay caller called in and said that everything was going according to plan with the gay agenda. He also said they'll be running things within ten years and warned if anything happened to derail gay marriage, that America should be ready for massive gay riots.
