[it's not an accident that water has the properties it has. it's the laws of chemistry]

what if instead of water we had liquid mercury?

what make you so sure the laws of chemistry right?

you need more faith to believe in science than God

['You're avoiding the question. Andrea Yates acted on those beliefs. Why didn't God stop her, if it wasn't actually His will? If it was His will, what the hell are you doing grovelling and worshipping Him? He's a monster.']

Why didn’t God stop (Andrea Yates) (or Hitler or the countless serial killers)? Maybe because no one asked Him to intervene.

Quote# 13312

O.k...I have got to pose a question that has been heavy on my heart...since the whole ME outbreak a week ago...how do we go on our about our normal day to day stuff and plan for the future knowing that there is a good chance that we are not going to be here??? I find myself not planning like I used to...I would plan for things to do throughout the year and goals that I wanted to do...but I have foregone all of those...which is fine....but the thing that gets me is that I am being selfish...I want a baby...do we start the adoption process hoping that HE does not come until that pt.? Or do we not, and enjoy our life until the rapture? I know that we are supposed to live as though He is coming at any moment, but to plan and like it will not be for many more years....I have come to realize that our time on this earth is fleeting, and I am cherishing every moment that I have with my husband and family….I know that things will be A LOT better in heaven and I can’t wait to see everything….but what am I supposed to do about my desire to be a mom? Persue? Or just realize that it probably will not happen and live the rest of my life with that?

Quote# 13310

Its in human nature for people to want others to be
like them, so it follows that gay's would like everyone to be like them. No human race, selfish. How do you know there are always going to be plenty of straight people, over the last few years there seems to be more and more gays, if they keep "coming out " at this rate how long
before they outnumber straights. Or are you saying it will slow up and stop at a certain point. Mind you its only an observation, I don't realy care, by that time I will be dead and then I'm out of it, or if the belivers are right I'm really in it. Either way they can fill their boots, or anything else as I won't be here to see it.

[You are being illogical when you say the Earth and Universe have been in existence for only 6,000 years, yet they are embedded with an age of 4.5 billion and 13 billion respectively.]

Either that, or I'm explaining the miraculous. Am I being illogical when I say Jesus fed 5000 with 2 small fishes and 5 barley loaves - (John 6:9)? Am I being illogical when I say a bush was on fire, but didn't burn up - (Exodus 3)? And am I really being illogical when I say Jesus rose from the dead after being crucified - (Matthew 28:6)?

During my devotion I asked God what he want me to do. I opened my bible and it opened to Deuteronomy. I thought of a number 1 - 100 and I choose 4. I read all verse 4's in the two revealed pages. In those pages.... it basically said that I were to minister to my old friends. Bring them closer to GOD. Thats how GOD told me his plan for my life. And I plan to follow through it.

Creationism is a far more investigative science then evolution. The reason, is because it sets out to prove something. Evolution ultimately makes up theories that appears to make sense in keeping with the theory.

It's harder to try and prove something without changing the original premise (the Bible) than it is to make changes to a theory not bound by any concrete belief.

Humans have always been humans. Ameobas have always been amoeba !

There seems to be a lack of upper-level thinking. The creation of this entire universe can not be broken down into such simple terms as evolution. Evolution is a joke and so ridiculous, I just can not believe so called intellectuals even ponder the idea.

Life, the world, time, change and the universe is magnificent construction of the greatest magnitude. Some HUMAN BRAINS CAN NOT EVEN CONCEIVE THE IDEA.

We need more upper-level thinking, instead of concrete, elementary level thoughts.

So now I am raising my kids in a world where they can't go outside and play by themselves, they really can't watch TV, and now I get to explain WWIII.

[On the morality of assisted suicide]

Wow, lets give people the right to choose to rape children too. You fucking liberal piece of shit. No one has the right to kill anyone. If the person wants to die, then they should just stab themself or something of that nature. You liberals always talk of more "freedom" but believe in big government. You guys want the government to be responsible for all of our medical costs etc, basicly wanting the government to wipe your ass for you. Also, the moment the sperm enters the egg.. ITS A BABY. Abortion is murder.

That's no problem at all. A global flood is not all the same everywhere -- one would expect huge variations of mineral concentrations, temperature, current, etc. You can imagine huge pockets of fresh water within the overall flood.

Quote# 13279

The Bible teaches a soteriology -- a means of uniting with God. God tells us that we can unite with him by being pardoned of divine destructive punishment ("justified"), as we believe ("faith") that Christ was punished in our place on the cross ("atonement"). This is the Biblical Christian soteriology: "justification by faith." Other religions have different soteriologies:
Platonism. For example, in Platonism, it is taught that God punishes humans only to correct them and not to destroy them -- kind of like a gardener pruning a tree, or a surgeon cauterizing a patient, or a sculptor chiseling a stone. Thus, Plato taught that we unite with God by yielding ourselves to the operation of his ongoing wrath and cooperating synergistically to be transfigured by it. This soteriology is made clear in Socrates's dialogue with Polus in Plato's book, "Gorgias."
Islam. In Islam, it is taught that a person can escape Allah's non-corrective punishments ("justification") by believing in Allah and Muhammed's Quranic prophecy ("faith") and by not failing to live according to the Five Pillars.
Many Non-Christians resist converting to Christianity because they believe that God taught them the soteriology they believe. For example, both Plato and Muhammed believed that God was teaching them their soteriologies. But even if it is true that God taught one of the non-Christian soteriologies, this is still not a good excuse for resisting converting to Christianity. Why not? Because Yahweh tells us that he would lie to humans in order to deceive them into believing a non-Christian soteriology. Having believed the false soteriology he taught them, he would condemn them for their violation of his law:
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 (New International Version)
They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Thus the fact that you believe God taught you your religion is not grounds for following it rather than converting to Christianity. For, even if you are correct that God taught your religion to you, it is nevertheless false. Only by the Christian soteriology can you unite with God.

Quote# 13277

[This is aparently an argument against evolution]

Can you clone evolution?

St. Catherine's monastery claims to have the actual "burning bush" that we read about in our Bible. Of course the story in the Bible took place 3500 years ago, so how could this bush still be alive today? Is this like the 5,000 year old "Methuselah Tree," said to be the world's oldest tree?

Actually, the Bush clones itself in what is known as asexual reproduction. So where is the opportunity for evolution to take place here? There is no selection involved. As anyone who has ever attended a ivy league college knows, you can not get rid of ivy. In theory it is because as long as you have a half inch section of the root, it will grow into a whole plant. Weeds are the same way. Chop the root up into little tiny peices and all of those peices will reproduce themselves and grow a weed identical to the origional. Some flowers reproduce that way also. You do not need a seed, you just need to keep a section of the root moist. As long as it does not dry out, it will reproduce itself.

The most overt one is right around the time my parents got maried a second time to have me. Where my mom saw, 6.66, and 6.66 from two transactions, and the house the got maried right next to was 666. Quote# 13261

I just had spiritual fight against Satan. I just got out of bed and my thinking is not straight yet. He sent many fallen angels at me. I asked for help and there was nobody to help. No, there was one. I don't know who it was. There was one person who helped me. I was too busy fighting to see who it was. I don't mean jesus because he always helps, but there was another person fighting them, too.

A dark angel was killing my son's dog, too, while I was fighting the others. He had his hand around his neck chocking him. When I woke up the dog was at the foot of my bed chocking. I picked him up and took him outside for some air. He is okay now...

There were so many of them this time. I feel like it was somebody from this site who was helping me, but I was too busy to see. They were in another room fighting.

The angels came from everywhere, even from the toilet, and the closets. The walls. I was raising my arms and fighting. Some imploded and were cast away inside the firey sphere. Others then left. It was a lot of fighting. When it was quite I went to pick up some clothes off the floor and something from inside the closet was pulling on my clothes and trying to drag me into the closet with them.

I said By the Power of His Blood and the pulling stopped.

Quote# 13260

It is always fascinating that people encourage behavior which leads to death from their desire ruling reason.
Well, unless your a person who cannot control your desires which kill you, and the so called one you love, from a truly unneccesary act.
Or, your Non homogenized, who spreads "pimp logic" as a way to replace that last dead sex object.
Always those who find their reality is run by desire, make the easiest fools for non homogenized.
But, the question for non homogenized is he/she just another hypocrite who does not believe what he preaches for, which is anogenital sex?
And if you believe it, why would you not practice what you preach for?
And if you practice anogenital acts, are you a "homophobe" who does not use a "real male anus" and suffer a womens' anus for your anogential desires?
Are you going to "prude up" on the world and deny you practice anogenital acts which you preach for?
And if you believe in anogenital acts do you preach to children too? Why not?
After all, anogenital acts are good are they not? And what age do you reccommend that they practice acts which give them hepatitis to Aids, non homogenized?
But, don't get me wrong, non homogenized is just doing what comes natural to a vicelord who makes reason bend reality to conform to desire.
Why, millions have bought that reality pushed by this pimp named non homogenized, and died shiting all over themselves, till conciousness is just for those who watch them die and release those sphincter muscles one last time.
Good job, non homogenized, the half truth teller for vice.

How can you be an American if you hate what Americans stand for and tolerate? Answer: Your not. Move to France! Bigotry has to do with skin color not sick twisted perverted behavior. By the homos standards of bigotry, the majority of homos are BIGOTS!!! As a true American I have the right to speak out against what I believe is wrong and I dont need no HOMONAZIS telling me Im a BIGOT when I love my black, Hispanic and other races. What I dont like is queers parading around as if they were normal and those of us who dont agree with them are BIGOTS, Yeah right. We are normal. Homos are perverts. I as the majority of my fellow Americans despise proud homosexuals and nothing I repeat nothing will ever change that. Why is it that homos go ape shit when another homo gets help and becomes a normal heterosexual? What business is it of yours anyway? Who are you homos to judge and tell an exhomo he is wrong and will never be happy with a member of the opposite sex or worse they are just lying. You queers are pathetic animals.
