Quote# 22032

Creationism

* Every Christian should be a Creationist.
* Creationism is at least as defensible as Macroevolutionism from a scientific standpoint.
* Macroevolution requires at least as much religion as Creationism.
* The primary reason Macroevolution is so popular is because it is the dominant viewpoint of the origin of life presented to the populace, and not because it is grounded in good science or common sense.
* Both Creationists and Macroevolutionists can be smart, competent scientists.
* Creationists should know about at least the basic tenets of Macroevolution. You should know your opponent. Ignorance is rarely becoming.
* Similarly, it would be good for Macroevolutionists to know about Creationism, and not receive all their information on Creationism secondhand from anti-Creationism-biased sources.
* Macroevolution is an inherently racist doctrine, even if individual Macroevolutionists do not wish to be racist. If there were races which evolved, one race would be the smartest, one the strongest, etc. There are NO races of humanity. There is one human race, and it is imperative that all Christians, even those who insist on being Macroevolutionists, agree with this. Christ died to save Christ's family, the family of Man.
* The origin of Man explains why Man needs a Savior. This is why Christians should be adamantly Creationist, and is also why atheists are just as adamantly anti-Creationist.

Quote# 22033

Abortion/Euthanasia

* Effort should be made to remove all reasons for abortion.
* Abortions should be completely banned, except in very rare cases when both people are probable to die (and even then, it should be up to the family. It could be analogous to if you're in a car on autopilot and you can't change your course and a guy in a similar car is heading straight at you. However, you also have a rocket propelled grenade and can blow the other guy away to save your life. Otherwise, you both will probably die. You would still be killing another human in manslaughter, but it would be somewhat understandable. Again, very rare cases. Abortion for practically any other thing is clearly bad.
* Support adult (including umbilical cord) stem cell research; oppose embryonic stem cell research.
* Unless all embryos made in an IVF procedure are used, some children are murdered.
* Research should be made into birthing tanks. This could lead to the end of all abortions.
* A supposed "right to choose" most definitely does not supersede a human's right to life--once God has given that privilege to that human.
* As life is a gift from God--and God still is the owner of that life--euthanasia is also bad. Human creatures do not have the right to take any life that is not theirs--including "their" life (the life God gave them)--unless it is for reasons of self-defense.

The only human who had the right to take a life for non-self-defense reasons was Christ. God had the right to take God's own life as a sacrifice to pay for the lives all human creatures. Just as God had the power to rise again so that all human creatures can rise again.
* As for children with huge "defects:" God has a reason for everything which comes to pass--it isn't for human creatures to contest God's decisions why God chose for some people to have extreme autism, downs syndrome, physical deformities, etc. God chose to give those human creatures life, and their lives are equal in value to every other human creature.

Quote# 22036

God gave mankind the free will to choose. We can choose to believe are not believe. Everything that happens God controls. We see the very small picture, God has the complete order plan that he wrote. God will use our emenies to get his plan working. 9/11 was part of his plan. Those that died didn't die in vain. It got us into a war, were the Christan words could be brought to the middle east. Think of how many souls are being saved everyday from the pit of hell. That is what God wants.

"Again using the comparative metaphor, just as Christ came to save a people with His own strategy, President Bush was in a position to do the same for the people of America and Iraq...

This Scripture could easily be describing the new Stalinist DNC Party "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8-9).

Satan, Islamic terrorists, and the Democrats are out and about like roaring lions, ready to devour any one they can."

Quote# 22038

[That's fine, B®ent -- but it might be more effective (and save a few animals, as well) to organize a group of people to write letters to sympathetic U.S. Senators and House members, as well as our ambassador and the Chinese ambassador -- and letting them know exactly how we feel about the skinning of live animals and what we intend to do if it doesn't stop.]

Talk accomplishes nothing. The Chinese government condones genocide, abortion, and other social evils. Do you think they care about animal cruelty? Nonsense. If these individuals are to be brought to justice, they must be put to death. This, however, is unlikely to happen. But I trust God will take care of them on judgment day.

[Now, that means suspending your own political and religious beliefs to work towards a common goal.]

I reject ecumenism. I trust in God -- I won't yoke with unbelievers and heretics.

[I get just as angry about people who are apprehended, imprisoned and tortured for no real good reason -- and especially when governments realize they've made a mistake and offer absolutely nothing in the way of reparations to innocent people who have been tortured. That's why I work with Amnesty International and spend a couple evenings a week writing letters -- I want this to stop and I'm willing to put my pen where my mouth is (and a lot more can be done by a group of people than by one person).]

Amnesty International is a dangerous organization working on behalf of terrorists and traitors. I want nothing to do with that fifth column.

We agree on this issue, but my primary intent here is to reveal the depravity of mankind, not to form a solution to the problem. I don't believe there is a solution except to kill the individuals responsible, and that isn't going to happen.

[I am not defending any particular version. I am asking a general question. So if we don't have a perfect Bible. (which you have already admitted) then any particular part is fallible. How do you chose what to believe and what not to?]

The answer is obvious, which ever part makes you feel uncomfortable or exposes a sin you don't wish to repent of, THAT part was mistranslated. If you want to find the infallible word of God, you have be willing to believe God can provide it to you first. However, if you set your mind to to not believing such a thing as a perfect word from God is possible, the search is over. Some people grow in the grace of the Lord, some are living in their parents' basement playing video games

Quote# 22040

["the stones of fire" (i.e., brilliant and precious mineral stones of God) when he was put on probation before God in the domain of the pre-Adamic heaven and the earth, as a prototype of Adam who was put on probation on a renovated earth with dominion over the plant and animal life of God. (Ezek. 28. 12-13).]

I respectfully disagree with this interpretation. I believe 'stones of fire' is alluding to Earth, Mars, and Rahab, and possibly Venus. These were the planets within Lucifer's dominion. Rahab was the 5th planet from the Sun. (According to my research in the Bible codes, it was sixth; apparently this includes the Sun, which is first). 'Stones' is translated from the Hebrew eh-ben, which is literally translated as "built stones (or rocks)." No translation, to my knowledge, acknowledges these stones as precious minerals. Furthermore, the phrase "of fire" seems to be referring to the light of the Sun reflected by these planets.

[How to keep those pesky devils away at night]

My pastor suggested that I ask for an angel to be sent to guard me while I slept. It really helped tremendously. My roommate could tell me where the angel was standing by the way the cats behaved every night. [They're terrified of angels and demons.] Just to prove to ourselves that we weren't both crazy, I would ask for the angel to stand in a different spot every night. In the morning, she could tell me exactly where it was.

Quote# 21976

A LEADING Muslim cleric has blamed the devastating drought, climate change and pollution on Australians' lack of faith in Allah.

Radical sheik Mohammed Omran told followers at his Brunswick mosque that out-of-control secular scientific values had caused environmental disaster.

"The fear of Allah is not there. So we have now a polluted earth, a polluted water, a wasteland," he told a meeting this year.

"What are the people now crying for? The prophet told you hundreds of years ago, 'Look after the water'."

Quote# 21977

(Responding to a Muslim cleric's call for prayer to alleviate Australian drought)

While some sheikh may suggest that Australia's record dry spell is because we haven't all surrendered to Allah, let the truth be told: Jesus Christ is Lord! Only Jesus' sacrifice for sins pays for us to enjoy life here and in eternity.
No manmade religion, philosophy or idea will earn man peace with God. No prayers or religious observances could ever hope to bring us into right relationship with such a holy, loving God. Only by saying sorry for our blunders, and turning from them to faith in Jesus Christ, creates the God type of righteousness inside. Other good deeds may follow but no good deeds could ever earn us heaven or a tick from "the bloke upstairs". They will certainly not bring us rain!

Christians should continue to pray for rain and for a harvest of souls. Only then will Australians be able to say they are truly happy because they are the people whose God is the Lord!

Quote# 21980

[If an atheist was ever voted as president of the United States, what's the worst that could happen? Could he or she really do a worse job than President Bush?]

Well, it depends, if they were logically consistent they would out do Hitler, as if there is no God, Nietzsche is right. Fortunately most atheists are not logically consistent and do not have the intestinal fortitude to become the realization of a Nietzschian world view. Thus if said leader curbed evil I really wouldn't care. They would be doing what those who govern ought to do as they are given the authority to do so by the God they do not believe in.

[...]

it is quite reasonable to have an expectation that [an atheist] would at least be familiar with the champion of one's own worldview. But I guess that is really an expectation that should not be held for the herd.

I always love talking with some atheist or agnostic who thinks that it "bothers" me when the gospel is rejected... the attitude that they have somehow hurt me or caused me some emotional pain is too funny. I could really care less if they blaspheme their way to the gates of perdition, I like it when the fools act the fool... I enjoy a good laugh and one at their expense is even better.

If I was a drinking man, it wouldn't bother me at all to raise a glass in honor of their rejection of truth... I am one of those folks that plan on sitting in the front row all decked out in full party regalia when the damned are cast into the lake of fire... I laugh now, I'll really be laughing then, in fact I plan on making a copy of the highlights. Some of that stuff is bound to be side splitting funny, I can't wait.

The look on ya'lls faces when you get judged on every sin that you've ever committed...ROFLMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I can't wait to hear some of the idiotic excuses... when God uses the fool proof method whereby you actually indict yourself is sure to produce some looks of astonishment, bewilderment, and my favorite...the flat out blank stare where your eyes just blink several times...ROFLMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you guys are gonna give me centuries of enjoyment. Thanks, guys.

Quote# 21994

[They might also suppose cavemen lived along with dinosaurs and that the garden of eden was in fact the moon when she was just a few inches from earth...]

In actuality, dinosaurs have lived with man throughout time. They simply used a now archaic term for them: dragon. In the Congo there have been reports of what seems to be a pterodactyl. Theories should be changed to fit the facts, not vice versa.

Evolution is an archaic religion, surviving only in the minds of those who cannot bring themselves to face reality. The only reason people choose to believe it is because that would mean it has a creator, and therefore, rules.

It is not my fault that your metaphysical research program of Evolutionism goes against a great number of scientific laws (the Two Laws of Thermodynamics, the Law Conservation of Angular Momentum, the Inverse Square Law AKA Gravitational Constant, among others too numerous to list.)

It can be stated as a fact that nothing found in science has ever supported the religion of Evolutionism.

Quote# 21996

[Obviously the fundamental forces do not exist.]

We have mentioned ten reasons why matter could not be made by a supposed Big Bang. But now we will discuss what would happen IF it actually had.

THE OUTWARD RUSHING PARTICLES

1 - There is no way to unite the particles. As the particles rush outward from the central explosion, they would keep getting farther and farther apart from one another.

2 - Outer space is frictionless, and there would be no way to slow the particles. The Big Bang is postulated on a totally empty space, devoid of all matter, in which a single explosion fills it with outward-flowing matter. There would be no way those particles could ever slow.

3 - The particles would maintain the same vector (speed and direction) forever. Assuming the particles were moving outward through totally empty space, there is no way they could change direction. They could not get together and begin circling one another.

4 - There is no way to slow the particles. They are traveling at supersonic speed, and every kilometer would separate them farther from one other.

5 - There is no way to change the direction of even one particle. They would keep racing on forever, never slowing, never changing direction. There is no way to get the particles to form into atoms or cluster into gaseous clouds. Angular momentum [turning motion] would be needed, and the laws of physics could not produce it.

6 - How could their atomic structures originate? Atoms, even hydrogen and helium, have complex structures. There is no way that outward shooting particles, continually separating farther from each other as they travel, could arrange themselves into atomic structures.

(supersport, high school dropout, and biology and medical expert, explains why horizontal gene transfer is the nail in the coffin for evolution)

[This only applies to single celled organisms that can freely move their genes. If this happened in humans we'd never become sick. Our genes would change fast enough to stop everything from the common cold to cancer.

What do you mean by "suppressed"? I learned this in grade 9 biology.]

You are not only wrong, you are missing the point:

antibiotic resistance -- the so-called "proof" for your theory -- is proof of nothing but fairytales. Listen....let me spell it out real easy for you: bacteria do not develop resistance by way of random mutations or natural selection -- they do it by way of physiological, purposeful response. This is a contradiction to your theory. Not only that but this is a perfect example of lamarckian inheritance on the level of the genome. The genome is flexible and changeable just like the phenotype is.

Sorry....try again.

Oh ya cutting your testicles in half and choping your penis off is a very natural thing and beloved by nature, I have nothing against these people but they should seek help, your comment about comparison is really stupid and illogical, the fact is eventually child pornography will be legal and your medical insurance will cover your sex change, i'd like to see the day when your father tells you he wants to be a woman and sleeps with guys and you catch them doing their thing, think before you speak and be mature about the situation and think with logic or another example one of your friends or relatives has some tapes of a 5 year old boy doing unimaginable things, what are going to tell him 'oh I saw hapiness and tv that said it's not your fault you can't control it, i understand you, your normal and i still love you , by the way can you babysit my 6 year old son tonight' , the fact is you are not surrounded by this reality so it does not bother you, you just make a pass and take it as something you stand for but never seen it or experienced it and for all of you people that say that it was life experience of sexual abuse that caused this your comment is a small margin right, most pedophiles have not been abused as a child and are people that are married and had a perfect life, you can call it a sick fetish(more of a sexual adventure) to be more detailed most sexually abused childred fear the fact of pedophilia when they get older , they distance themselves from children because their too scared they might become the predator that has haunted them.
