Not so in many films which steal the very childhood from children. By the way, a glaring paradox haunted me as I tried to find justification in the Bible for the G, PG, PG-13 and R classifications established by the MPAA.

The Trail of Tears was where the Cherokee Indians were driven out of the Chattanooga area all the way to Oklahoma. One third of the entire nation died en route. That took place here in America as they were driven from their homes. Evolution is largely responsible for what happened to the Indians.

{Fundamentalism in a Nutshell]

Prevention vs Cure

The Bible favors prevention versus cure. The Republican party favors prevention and the democratic party favors cure. Abortion is a cure to the problem of sexual immorality. Funding for AIDS is the cure for the sin of homosexuality. Welfare is the cure for the sin of pornography that lead to the illegitimate children that leads to the need for welfare.

Republicans and Christians want to prevent people from getting to where they need abortion, AIDS cures and welfare. Abortion, AIDS and welfare are very painful to the people involved.

Quote# 33810

* (If I were to create a new nation, this is how it would go.) *

In establishing a New Nation, We the People of the Confederate States Of America do hereby hold these truths wholesome and eternal.

1. GOD is the creator and sustainer of all life on this planet. As well as the creator of everything inside and outside of the universe. Jesus Christ is God the Son the second person of the holy trinity. He was born of a virgin named Miriam, lived a perfect and sinless life. He was crucified, died, and was buried. He rose up from the dead on the third day. Forty days later He ascended to the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. Salvation is through Him and Him alone. There is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved. Jesus Christ is the savior and there is none other. He is blessed forever. Amen.

2. We have the right to life and no one person or group can take away the right to life, save in cases of capital punishment. All human beings, born or unborn have the right to life. Only those who have committed crimes worthy of capital punishment, can have their lives taken from them.

3. Homosexuality is a sin and a complete abomination unto GOD. All attempts to create a sense of normalcy, and attempts to create laws to promote this vile sin are wicked, and against GOD.

4. The worship of GOD is wholesome and good. All Christians should have the right to worship GOD as they see fit. All attempts at stopping the worship of GOD are immoral and wicked. No man or group has the right to prevent the true worship of GOD.

5. Marxist Communism in all it's forms is wicked and evil. It is inspired by lucifer and should be driven from the face of the earth.

We the People of the New Confederate States Of America, hereby state these truths and hold them firm. We will strive to keep ourselves pure and stay close to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We are a Christian Nation and will ever be so. No other faith will be officially recognized as the faith of this Nation. This will be true now, and forever more. Amen.

Now may the Lord Jesus Christ bless us all. Amen.

I've struggled with being gay to. My best friend was gay, so I turned out Gay, 'cause people end up acting like there friends. I've stuck my hands down peoples pockets and up their shirts. and I kissed a guy and relized how gay I really was. But i do not at all say its not by choose. I knew My best friend was gay and i could have stayed away from him, and been strait that whole time. Makes you think about what happens to people when there sorounded by people who tell them that being gay comes naturaly to some people.

[Do you have an example of a "God's law" that couldn't possibly be human law? I'm sure there were laws before Christianity, and I'm willing to bet that many of them dealt with the laws you are talking about.]

If you are so "sure" of it why not try to prove it?

In the Roman, and Greek, societies sexual promiscuity was rampant as was homosexual sex. Murders were everywhere, rapes occured more often then not, domestic abuse was prevalent, poverty was the "law of the land", conscription, soldiers in private homes, or taking what they wanted without compensation, etc.

It was the introduction of Christianity that eventually changed all of this. It was also the basis that the Founders used for writing the Constitution, and the laws of the land.

Either way, my point is that we should rejoice when GOD takes one of HIS children home or when he sends a sinner to hell.

[I'm sorry, but that is the most disgusting comment I've ever read. I will not or ever rejoice in someone going to Hell.]

You will one day. Note Rev. 19:1-4 where God's people sing him praises because of the exercise of his judgment. We must never think that we are more compassionate than God when it comes to the judging of the ungodly. Now we speak in mercy, then we will speak in glory - indeed, we are sorrowful over the death of sinners to damnation; but in heaven, we will praise his name for the exercise of his glory in judgment.

Quote# 33792

"If you needed life saving surgery would you accept the surgery from a person of another belief system or an atheist if they were the best surgeon around?"

I would accept a surgeon from any other belief system, because at least he/she believes in some sort of spirituality (and thus his/her connection with life is tighter); however an atheist will only pay attention to the tecnique and if the tecnique fails, he won't hope for Godly intervention and won't give that extra minute that many times saves people (because he/she doesn't believe in anything...or so he/she convinces him/herself of).

I have an experience in my family where the doctor was an atheist and when his tecnique failed he removed an uterus, just like that. Whereas if he had some kind of belief system, he would've done everything he could to have saved it (I know a doctor, catholic, who operated a lady who had a tumour glued to her uterus; I can't describe what he did, but he fought for it and he saved it, cause (so he said) that uterus was God's instrument to bring life to this world.

lol ive never understood how people can believe in evolution in the Big bang sense, because theres a massive hole in their theory, for their theory there needs to be something there to start off with and nobody can ever explain where that someting came from. its quite fun making my science teachers stutter when i point that out.

but the point is, even if the big bang theory was true (which it isnt) God would have had to start it off. some people can be so ignorant to what is the obvios, eg, its obvious if you look around that God exists, but many people arein total denial

what's funny about that, is along with giant rats there were giant camels, giant beaves, giant buffalo, giant insects, alligators, and virtually every other type of creature living just a few thousand years ago (some say 10,000 years ago near the end of the ice age)....yet when it comes to large reptiles such as dinosaurs the evos close their eyes and play like these over-sized creatures didn't live with them...no, instead they lived the imaginary millions of years ago. And not only that, but they were the only large creatures of the time. But doesn't it makes a bit more since that the oversiized reptiles lived alongside the oversized mammals and oversized insects and oversized fish and oversized plants? Of course...but evolutionists aren't logical and don't admit to common sense explanations, regadless of the fact that dino bones have been dug up with still-rotting flesh attached to their unfossilized bones and that their carcasses have long-known to smell like death and decay when they're dug up out of the ground.

Evolution and pagan religion go hand-in-hand since they have the same polluted source. In fact, evolution is really a pagan belief system that rejects the God of the Bible for a "god" of their own making. Whereas pagans chose to worship creatures rather than the Creator, evolution glorifies the creature and rejects the Creator. Both pagans and evolutionists look to nature itself as the foundation of life.

No, I don't think I would vote for an atheist; and I will tell you why: if one doesn't believe in God, then one doesn't believe in oneself; and if one doesn't believe in itself, then one doesn't believe in the people; and if one doesn't believe in the people, one cannot serve it properly. I know a few people who claim to be atheists and their speech is rather unclear, confused, in regards to their position...and if a politician is atheist, you can bet that most of his decisions will be of remaining sat on the wall, like humpty dumpty.

Quote# 33798

I was wondering people's thoughts on premarital sex and who you will be with in heaven. When I met my wife I knew that she had had sex before and I hadn't. About 3 weeks after we got together, we got engaged, we had sex, about 3 months after she was pregnant. I was not her first and at first that didn't concern me. But as time went on, it began to drive me crazy...that I was not her first. My question is maybe crazy, but what does God recognize as"one flesh?" Is it the act of sex that God will recognize or the ceremony of marriage? If it is sex, then won't heaven be screwed up by all of the divorces and multiple partners people have? Will you be in heaven with the first person you have sex with, the last one, or the one you are married to? I don't want her to be tied to anyone in heaven except me and Christ?

Quote# 33795

You act like you know what the true meaning of love is. As well as the true meaning of loving your neighbor as yourself. Confirming someone in their sins to be agreebale to other people is not love..

St. Paul talked about love, but he had no problem rebuking sinners(fornicators, sodomites). Other verses he said to have "nothing to do with them".. Neither did Jesus or Peter. Peter rebuked someone so hard that they dropped dead right in from of him(and then his wife did later)..

And what does "Neighbor" mean? many theologians took this for meaning only the christian community. The apostles took each other as their "neighbors" and their successors and so on..Are the Pagans and reprobate really are "neighbors"?? From St. Paul's writings it seems to portray a resounding NO.. Meaning loving each other in the community(your fellow christians). Jesus said if they do not listen to you, shake off the dust from your feet, for it will be more "tolerable for Sodom than for that town"..

Q [Beliefnet]: Is it your goal to bring the Constitution into strict conformity with the Bible? Some people would consider that a kind of dangerous undertaking, particularly given the variety of biblical interpretations.

A [Huckebee]:Well, I don’t think that’s a radical view to say we’re going to affirm marriage. I think the radical view is to say that we’re going to change the definition of marriage so that it can mean two men, two women, a man and three women, a man and a child, a man and animal. Again, once we change the definition, the door is open to change it again. I think the radical position is to make a change in what’s been historic.

"Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind...."
Although Evolutionists will tell you with a straight face that an elephant mated with a cockroach and a bald eagle was born, there has never been a case of different animals mating with each other, despite the fact of millions upon millions of different species. Cats mate with cats, dogs with dogs,
pidgeons with pidgeons etc. They all mate with their own kind.
A demonstrable observable fact!

well, I've noticed that when I see a Buddha statue, or an blue Idol with 6 Arms, and in cirtain places, spacifically where there's Supposedly sorcery nearby... I just get a feeling of dread, an Inexcapble feeling of dread... I don't think it's just that I seems creepy to me... there's got to be some... presence... a demon perhaps, but all I know is that that feeling is very real in places that people practice witchcraft, and even if witches aren't real... I know there's something there... and some 6th sense is warning me...

O, It's not racism... not just hindu statues either... stuff like... sorcery, horoscopes... In fact... even before I'd seen any movie or anything about hindu statues being evil, I could STILL feel it... I could feel the demons...

Quote# 33775

Lets read from the bible and see what is considered as a given truth from it:

What two witness about should be esteblished as truth.

We need two independent witnessess who can witness about something inorder for it to be true:

For instance, seeing a gnome while going to sleep on sleeping pills is considered to be a lie because only one can witness about it.

In the same manners evolution is considered a lie because only Darwin has proposed the idea that we have evolved from lower state life forms during a time laps of some millions of years:

We do not have two independent witnessess when it comes to evolution. We have a set of scientists who believe in one witness (Darwin) and are dedicating their lives to examine his testemony.
