Quote# 33162

***Shiny mirror award?***

Princess +frog+kiss=Prince (fairy tale)
frog+millions of years=man (adult fairy tale)

Evolution is only a process, imagined and concocted by ppl, who don't like the thought of answering to a holy God, for the wrongs they've done, after they die.
An over active imagination will never destroy the existence of the Biblical God.

Quote# 33151

If it were not for the great Grace of God - there would be unimaginable plagues - no restraining of viruses or bacteria - which is part of the wonderful love of God in our present world. Back in the summer one of the bridges in Minneapolis fell in - with hundreds killed and injured. John Piper ( whose church is in Minneapolis) said God “caused” the bridge to collapse. What a fiery response there was to those comments! It is hard to understand how saying God was absent and the bridge just collapsed by itself is glorifying to God or helpful in any way. It has been reported since then that over 100 bridges have the same defects. Piper is absolutely correct and biblical in saying that the collapse of that bridge was the kindness of God. He is warning people everywhere that death is at the door and eternity is revealed and men everywhere need to repent. He has in his Grace only ordained that 1 bridge collapse. He is keeping those other 100+ bridges in place, otherwise they would ALL collapse.

Quote# 33153

"I`ve often wondered,if God took a single rib out of Adam and made Eve,why don`t we have more ribs on one side than the other?"

Actually the female skeleton has one more rib than the male in all that I've seen in various museums.

Quote# 33149

Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson predicted Wednesday that 2008 will be a year of violence worldwide and a recession in the United States, followed by a major stock-market crash by 2010.

Sharing what he believes God has told him about the year ahead is an annual tradition for Robertson.

On Wednesday's "700 Club" broadcast, the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network predicted that evangelism will increase and more people will seek God as the chaos develops. Robertson said, "We will see the presence of angels and we will see an intensification of miracles around the world."

Last year, Robertson predicted that a terrorist act, possibly involving a nuclear weapon, would result in mass killing in the United States. Noting that it hadn't come to pass, Robertson said, "All I can think is that somehow the people of God prayed and God in his mercy spared us."

Quote# 33123

The cult of the FSTDT is a cult of agnostics/atheists who call Jesus a liar, yet they have no reason for doing so. What FSTDT really stands for is For Satan The Demonic Teacher.

In spite of the fact that God of the Bible is proven in the 4 Step Perfect Proof, they still remain shutting their minds down.

When I am against something, I at least have some evidence, yet they need none because they operate as a cult.

Quote# 33118

There were countless eye witnesses, far too many to be false. The resurrection of Jesus is one of the best supported events in human history.

Saying that he did not rise from the dead is like saying that Abraham Lincoln was never president of the USA. It's ridiculous and laughable, it shows the utter ignorance of atheists.

"One day, there will be no Christmas, it will be Wal-Mart Day. There will be no God, besides sex. All your kids will be slime. People will have no morals. Everyone will believe the insane Darwinist theories about people evolving from monkeys. Maybe even Anarchy. Then the influential powers that be will have you right where they want you."

( On the subject of flood story)

However you look at it --- myth or otherwise, made-up, true, false, guesswork, assumptions, hypotheticals, junk theology, twisting the facts, outright lying, literal interpretation of the Scriptures, figurative interpretation of the Scriptures, cult explanations, philosophies, crackpots, cracked pots, or crock pots; I know one thing:

Science didn't do it.

Quote# 33082

My husband bought a used Suburban a few months back. It has an alarm system. Everything is fine for a few months. Then, about 3 weeks ago, the alarm system started going off for no reason. It would run it's course then stop. Sometimes this happens several times a day, then it doesn't happen for a few days. Very odd. If we can figure out how to disconnect the crazy thing, we will. Now if it continues to go off after that, then I'll be really spooked.

But yes, I do believe Satan and his minions are putting in lots of OT these days.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!

Quote# 33067

Following the Rapture, the majority of people will believe that all the "true christians" were left behind and only the "kooky" ones were taken. This will lay a foundation for the formation of the false "church" in the first half of the Tribuation, which will probably be very liberal and "tolerant" in its doctrines.

Anyone who chooses to embrace the true Gospel of those "kooky christians" that were raptured, will be persecuted and hated.

"I have read in the Bible of Unicorns. People have said to me that it shows that the KJV is faulty. Can you explain to me what those were?"

Most of the commentators wave the magic wand and transform the unicorn into a wild ox. This, of course, is done through unbelief. They don’t believe that there is such an animal as a unicorn.

Quote# 33060

MCKINNEY TX - The pastor of a charismatic Christian church attended by the Plano mother on trial, accused of fatally cutting off the arms of her 10-month-old daughter, told jurors Wednesday that mental illness is really demon possession that cannot be cured with psychiatry or medicine.

"I do not believe that any mental illness exists other than demons, and no medication can straighten it out, other than the power of God," said Doyle Davidson, the 73-year-old minister of the Water of Life Church that Dena and John Schlosser attended several times a week.

Schlosser was arrested after police, responding to a 911 call, found her in the living room of her apartment, blood smeared on her face and clothes, a Christian hymn playing and a Bible open near the crib where the child was killed.

Defense lawyers have faulted her husband and Davidson for downplaying her strange behavior and cutting short treatment of a psychotic condition that began after the birth of her third child in January 2004.

John Schlosser testified Tuesday that he did not seek medical help when his wife told him she wanted to "give the baby to God" about a week before their daughter's death.

Quote# 33058

[Reviewing the film Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium]

Sexual Immorality (S)
The only content applicable to this investigation area is Natalie Portman wearing a dress that exposed a large gap over her chest. Such a display of skin normally not seen is clearly sexual: clearly intended to tease, to incite lust in the male viewer. If she had worn a dress that covered the gap, the Sexual Immorality investigation area score would have been 100. Sure, some highfalutin, high society performers wear such clothing for such affairs, but does that make such a cultural-specific display acceptable? If you think "Yes" then the fact that some cultures eat other people makes it acceptable since it is a cultural-specific behavior. Don't argue with me about what is morally acceptable. Argue about it with God. He will give you a much better Answer than I ever could. [1Cor. 8:9, Matt. 5:28]

Quote# 33061

Most of you are so naive about how this country was designed. All your freedoms come from Christianity. The whole concept of our Declaration and Constitution are based on Biblical teachings, right down to the republic (not democracy), free markets, freedom of speech, and unalienable rights.
You don’t understand your rights, and you believe you have the right to do whatever you want as long as it feels good at the moment. In the old days, that type of thinking would have gotten you a boat ticket back to the British Empire. Freedom does not mean free to be a total immoral demented hedonistic idiot.
