Yes on Prop. 8!

Restore marraige as it should be. If gays can't handle civil unions it just shows they aren't willing to bend. Gays and lesbians have always stomped their feet because things aren't "fair". Even when Governemts state they will be allowed same basic rights, like visiting their freinds in hospitals, etc and even take advantage of tax laws.

Make it right once and for all by voting yes on 8! Stop the madness and accept that a majority of the people in the State of California want you to vote yes on 8!

[Advertising $9.95 eBook, 'The Demon Dictionary.']

WARNING: Please exercise extreme caution when reading this book. Please do not read the actual demon names out loud. Although, elaborate conjuring rituals are usually required to summon these angels, why risk drawing attention to yourself or your family by speaking their names.

WARNING: In this book I have reproduced the seals which are used to identify each demon. Do not make copies of these, or place them on any objects owned by you or your family. This is a sign to the demon that these objects are his and you don’t want to go there.

WARNING: In some cases I have briefly described how these demons may be summoned. Please do not attempt any of these rituals unless you really mean to summon the demon. I highly recommend you avoid doing this at all costs.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Malaysia's main body of Islamic clerics has issued an edict banning tomboys in the Muslim-majority country, ruling that girls who act like boys violate the tenets of Islam, an official said Friday.

The National Fatwa Council forbade the practice of girls behaving or dressing like boys during a meeting Thursday in northern Malaysia, said Harussani Idris Zakaria, the mufti of northern Perak state, who attended the gathering.

I disagree with Colin Powell and Barack Obama on several points in General Powell's endorsement. If Obama is qualified to be president, then Sarah Palin is also qualified to be PRESIDENT. John McCain chose a strong lover of God to fight abortion and same gender unions. They both acknowledge prayer, a powerful weapon in all problems.

The war on terror is radical religionists against ungodly principles. The Islamists are fighting against abortion and same gender unions coming into their nations as well as other indecencies. The generals fighting since 2001 have missed the point because they do not understand or respect the word of God that declares that God fights against those who fight against His ways. The best strategy to fight the war on terror is to choose people who love God's ways. The primary message of the Qur'an is to follow the whole Bible. People who love the Bible will have something to talk about when then meet face to face. I do not know what Barack Obama would talk about; certainly it wouldn't be his party's platform of abortion rights.

<Anyone have an idea what her point is?>

The Bible does mention Dinosaurs. The punishment for the serpent who tempted Adam and Eve was to crawl upon its belly from that point on. That would imply serpents had legs before this point. So, the original serpent in the Garden of Eden was a dinosaur that was turned into today's snakes after the Fall of Man and expulsion from the Garden.

since you dont believe in the Bible or God.... that must also mean that you dont believe in any history books or other recorded material. since history books are supposed proof of things that happened many years (just like the Bible). but you guys dont doubt the existence of the Bible so does so that mean you doubt the existence of all history in general?

*ellen degeneres supporting gay marriage*

There is no possibility of convincing people like Ellen that they have confused affections and need to change. IMO. They don't want to change.
She has big money, fame, TV show, etc. so she isn't about to see any need in her own life. She doesn't need God in her mind, so she doesn't care except that she gets what she wants. This is why it's so hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
She has to make her decision in a time of need, and I honestly don't see it happening as far as her choices go. If she did, I would stand corrected.
Since when does someone have "the right" to break one of God's laws?
Ellen is seriously messing with fire, here.
There were enough Christians to vote against this before, (then the California Supreme Court sickeningly voted against our vote).
I believe there are still enough Christians in California to vote this down again, with a YES ON 8 vote
praying Lord, that prop 8 goes "yes"

[Exclusive Brethren elder Daniel Hales explains why their kids are not allowed to go to university.]

"Universities were once Ivy League bastions of conservative Christianity. Then came Flower Power and professors advocating drugs, and so on. They became the vanguard for re-engineering society."

"I was enrolled myself once," said the 58-year-old father of five. "I was going to study law or medicine. Then I thought it all through, and I realised it would draw me away from my Christian faith and my family."

"We feel our children would find their faith being challenged. The first thing they learn at university is to question everything. We are not afraid of them but we don't see why our children should be subject to that."

"We're not goody-goodies. I have tried cigarettes, and I have seen movies in my wayward youth."

The following story concerns my 1st encounter, where I feel & see an alien demon.

For now on I will write the word alien, though we all know it to mean a demonic entity wearing an alien costume playing an alien.

It is 1973, just two or three months after accepting Jesus as my Savior and also receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit soon after. I was sleeping and alone in my home when my sleep was rudely interrupted. I was on my back and I went from deep sleep to suddenly feeling both my wrists being griped by someone. Now, I did not wake up, as in the conventional way. I was in the spirit and though my eye lids were closed, I could look right through them. What I saw was something bending over me and it was grasping both my wrists. My arms were crossed over my chest. I couldn't recognize what I was looking at, except that it looked like a mannequin with no eyes, mouth or nose holes, but overall had the form of a human and white or light Grey in color. I noticed it had a faint light radiating out from within it (all over it). All this was happening in a matter of seconds. I'm still in the spirit. I quickly, without thinking said to to attacker "Go in the Name of Jesus". It was still there holding me. Again I said "Go in the Name of Jesus!" Now, I don't know if I was talking in the spirit realm at the attacker or not. But then my physical eyes open and I'm looking at this thing face to face and it is still not letting go of me. So, I'm in this dimension and out of the spirit and I said to it with my physical mouth "Go in the Name of Jesus!" the third time! The ... whatever it was, cocked it's head a little at an angle and I just knew it was surprised that I caught it off guard. If it could talk, it would have most likely said "What?" or 'Hugh?" It finally let go of my wrists stepped backwards and disappeared before my eyes.

The Democratic party used to be home to the vast majority of Catholic voters.

2004 was the first time that a Republican (Bush), against Kerry (nominal Catholic) got the majority of the Catholic vote.

Atheists and anti-Christian bigots now dominate the Democratic Party. They say they aren't religous but public schools are their temples used to indoctrinate children via their secularist, anti-Christian views.

America has had a long Judeo-Christian tradition. What is the cause of the big backlash against it?

Why is the Democratic party willing to lose Christian voters like it has in the last 30 years, especially of late?

How did the Democratic party become hostage to atheists and anti-Christian bigots?

Excellent point! I've often wondered why we Christians allowed evolution to be taught without the opposite view included. Having been raised by Christian parents, I don't even recall being taught evolution, but I must have been and it just didn't make an impact on me because my parents taught me the true story. But, for those kids who don't get taught about God and Jesus at home, it is really unfair and unAmerican to teach something that has not been proven as fact without teaching opposing views, which include intelligent design and creation.

We have tried, but like the calvary, the ACLU (American Communist Lawyers Union) always comes in and saves the day for the evolutionists.

[poster], I do not believe that taking medications and seeking medical advice for your depression works. Why not seek advice from the Super Moderators here. They can help you a LOT!

And [poster], do you read and study the Word of God everyday? If not, you should. The Word of God is the best, if not, the only cure for depression. Also, do pray.

I was once like you. I also suffered from severe bouts of depression. And the only cure for my suffering was reading & studying the Word of God. Now it's gone - totally gone. And I praise God for that.

I am praying for you.

[from the comments section of the Garvan blog]

......my pastor says we should be suspicious of "learning". It is not be our place to try to comprehend all the mysteries of how our Heavenly Father operates. We should know our limitations and remember it is Satan who lies to us, telling us that we have no limitations and can understand everything. That is the road to darkness.

Remember the words of the Preacher:

"For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow."
Ecclesiastes 1:18

"Proud to be an Atheist”

...was printed on the bumper sticker I followed for several stop lights a few weeks ago. It was on a pick-up truck driven by a man in his mid-30's. I guess it shouldn't shock me, but yep... it shocks me that someone could believe there was no God. As I followed his truck on my way home from work I just prayed for him. I didn't know what else to do (although I did think about getting into a wreck with him so that I could try and work God into the ensuing conversation). I wanted to talk to him to see if I could reason with him.

If only he knew what I and so many others know to be true.

You know, I'm so blessed to have such great Christian friends and a great Christian family. I think sometimes I'm so surrounded by all those folks that I forget how many people out there are lost and don't know (or refuse to believe) the salvation that is so easily available to them.

It reminded me that this is why we do what we do [at the Church]. We should be reaching out to people like this in creative, compelling, and non-judgmental ways every chance we get; not just at the Church but in our everyday lives. Jesus has called us to be fishers of men (note He didn't say "catchers of men"). We should leave the catching up to God, but we have the responsibility to continuously cast our line out there.

I feel such a passion for this. I'm totally serious here... I was actually trying to figure out how I could talk to this guy! If I didn't think he'd punch me for wrecking his truck I probably would've done it!
