Quote# 54762

The worst atrocities in history have been non-religioous in nature, and so prolific that the human mind wipes them from memory. Then endless tribal feudes of african tribes. The sensless deaths that occur in the millions every year from non-religions.

Quote# 54497

[Why you Should Go To PCC]

Why is choosing a college perhaps the second most important decision you will ever make? Because students most often choose their vocation and their mate at college.
Unfortunately, Satan doesn’t want you to choose a Christian college. He wants to control your future. He often convinces young people to believe the following myths about Christian colleges.

“The community college or state university is an acceptable alternative.”

The outstanding difference between secular institutions and Bible-believing Christian colleges is their philosophy. Secular schools are dominated by secular humanism, which denies the Creator, worships the creation, and considers man only a higher form of evolutionary animal life. Faculty, academics, and campus life are all influenced by this philosophy. No matter how well educated the professor or how well established the school’s reputation, the dangers of humanistic philosophy are very real.

Do you as a Christian young person have a choice?

The answer from a Christian perspective is a resounding no! The secular college is not an acceptable alternative!

Quote# 54756

*But not everyone is pleased with the president-elect's selection of Rev. Warren*

I don't see anything Gay about homosexual fury and intolerance....
---
Much of the homosexual propaganda is filled with fury. Just like a belligerent child, who knows what they are doing is wrong, but becomes angry and aggressive when there is any talk of it.
As in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, always brought me to thinking about the nature of the homosexual mindset. They were aggressive, in your face, and dangerous. No longer hiding. This is what is "coming out".
---
he truth is Obama is against the marriage ammendment and for "gay" adoption, civil unions, civil marriage, against D.O.M. etc.. Michele stated it again. If you can get through it, listen to her. It's twisted logic but it is how they see the world from the extreme left. He had Michele do his dirty work. Gays, Lesbains, transgendered - you name it should be exalted and of course she proudly stated that B. Obama is a "Christian" and he will stand up for true Christian values.
May God forgive us not getting through to people about what Christianity is and how the GLT peole can he helped through Christ. God can not possibly be happy with this.
---
I also wanted to add that the Obama supporters are already seeing that he is not bringing the "change" they were counting on. This could get uggggggggly!
---
gay this gay that gay,gay,gay,gay,and gay. I am so sick of the word. Only 5 years ago you hardly heard any mention of gay this and that. Now every where every day there is something gay!!!!! I just want to scream! Lord Jesus, please get us out of here, I am so ready to go home.
---
When I was 5.. I thought gay meant "happy".
Silly me!!

Athiesm is a religion, and I've never seen a more militant and aggressive one, possibly Islam. The similarities are astounding...one says pray or die, the other says science or die. Both very much angry and militant.

(later on)
If you concede the chance you might be wrong in your assertions, the entire athiest argument crumbles, because if you concede the possibility there is a god or higher intelligence, you would go against the doctrine of your religion and have no leg to stand on

Quote# 54708

If there is no God, there is no freedom to choose. If there is no freedom to choose, there is no good or evil. There is merely action and inaction. There is no way to be good for goodness sake — that would require an act of voluntary will far beyond human capacity. Atheists simply gloss over this point. The American Humanist Association states on its website, whybelieveinagod.org, We can have ethics and values based on our built-in drives toward a moral life. Without a soul, this is wishful thinking of the highest order. Since when does biology dictate a moral drive? If it did, wouldn't man always get more rather than less moral — wouldn't history be a long upward climb? What about the murderers, rapists, child molesters and genocidal dictators? Are they all ignoring that built-in drive toward a moral life?

(Third article down) ..Just the name of the Web site is a warning to any sane and educated person that this is gong to be a one side one way my Way of the highway point of view .

Specifically, a modern feminist tends to:

* believe that there are no inherent differences between men and women and that much inequality is the result of men oppressing women
* oppose chivalry and even feign insult at harmless displays of it
* view traditional marriage as unacceptably patriarchal
* shirk traditional gender activities, like baking
* support affirmative action for women
* detest women who are happy in traditional roles, such as housewife, and especially dislike those who defend such roles
* prefer that women wear pants rather than dresses, presumably because men do
* seek women in combat in the military just like men, and coed submarines
* refuse to take her husband's last name when marrying

Quote# 54509

Please pray for Carlton Pearson that he wake up and smell the coffee. I mean, come on. I see right through what the devil is doing and I don't have a degree in half the things these other people do!

It saddened me a lot. I watched the story of how this preacher changed his mind one day after hearing "an audible voice" telling him there is no hell. Who wouldn't want to believe that? So then the Bible is now null and void and all of us who don't believe what he is now preaching don't "love"? And the gay and lesbians and the Mormons and the Atheist are more "loving"
of course they are going to love this!!!!

http://www.religionnewsblog.com/13829/the-fall-and-rise-of-carlton-pearson

But what gets me about this article especially is that he predicts this will soon be the crux of mainstream theology. On the one hand, he denounces the reality of hell as taught to us by the Bible and on the other hand the man is fulfilling the very pages of the book he now says is not to be taken literally. How is he doing this? The Bible says in the last days men will depart from the faith, heed seducing spirits. Doctrins of demons. This is a doctrine of a demon.

and

the man tells the newscaster how distraught he was that his grandparents may have gone to hell.
If I were a demon, I'd sure swoop in and play on that one! Here, Carlton, here is a new doctrine,
and it sounds great,
never mind where it comes from, forget that precious book, just listen and accept it. Don't test it.

[I thought this was very strange...till I saw the link at the bottom of the page and saw that it led to (drumroll please) the Discovery Institute!]

There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.

Quote# 54618

[Why you need to go to the "Code Blue Rally," which is a traveling day-long seminar done at churches about fundamentalist "apologetics" and "worldview".]

Researchers continue to come up with increasingly grave statistics that explain how serious the condition is. Among Christian adults:

64% believe moral truth depends on the situation;
60% believe male/female co-habitation outside of marriage is acceptable;
55% believe a good person can earn his or her salvation;
44% believe Jesus Christ committed sins while on earth.

And consider the peril of college students:
67% of college professors approve of homosexuality;
84% of professors approve of abortion;
65% embrace socialist and communist ideals;
88% of students from “Christian” homes deny their faith before they graduate from college;
91% of students from evangelical churches do not believe in absolute moral truth.

Recognizing the life-and-death nature of the issue, the Southern Baptist Convention, to its credit, has even done a self-study and found that 88% of young people from SBC homes deny their faith before they graduate from college.

After fielding questions and e-mails from thousands of students, Worldview Weekend can tell you they are eager for worldview training. In fact, they’re dying for it (pun intended). What they cannot figure out is why you are not interested and why you think they would not be interested. They even wonder why you don’t make them go through worldview training regardless of whether they say they want to or not. After all, your kids were not interested in eating their vegetables, but you made them. They didn’t want to sit in a car seat or wear a seat belt, but you insisted. They balked at having to check in with you and tell where they were going with their friends, but you required it. You were resolute in making sure they were physically nurtured and protected, but they think you’ve thrown them to the wolves spiritually.

Most students say they did not learn enough Bible content growing up to enable them to make biblical life decisions, let alone defend essential Christian doctrines in the face of vicious opposition. That is because no one made them. Hence, CODE BLUE is upon us. Many of the 88% that are denying their faith before they graduate from college never return because they were never truly saved; they are false converts.

Quote# 54602

I've noticed one thing in atheists, especially the more hostile ones against Christianity....the reason they're so hostile toward us is because they know, deep inside, that they're wrong. Of course they won't admit that...instead, they usually get more hostile toward us....much in the same way that I believe that no atheist can have real, good morals...that one really ticks them off!

Quote# 54765

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I believe the horrible mess we are today as a nation, with the ungoldy views held by many, with the lack of morals can be traced back to the secular humanist brainwashing children through the public education school system....A good question would be how would you change a whole nation from having a judeo - christian world view to adopt a godless secular world view? First the secular humanist would start by removing your Christian kids from your Christian home at age 5 and shoving them into an intensely anti-Christian environment. For at least six hours a day, your kids will be taught that the values they learned at home and church don't apply at school. They'll have to "leave it at the door" if they've been taught absolute moral standards. Don't you feel better knowing your 5-year old is learning about safe sex and how homo - sexual activity is perfectly normal and acceptable, and those who believe otherwise - like you - are homophobic bigots who must have their 1st Amendment rights annulled for the good of the nation?

The government says it's okay for its schools to tell your child he or she is wrong to mention the name of Jesus or Moses but not Mohammed or Buddha. Your child should feel ashamed for believing in Jesus. That guilt will eventually beguile your child into agreeing with the majority, denying your value system and conforming to State-supported Humanist's doctrines like socialism, moral relativism and Darwinism. As children grow older, their lack of fixed moral standards results in confrontations, usually with other students but quite often with The System that manufactured them. But that's okay. They've been brainwashed to believe they evolved from animals, so it's only natural that they act like beasts...And people wonder why kids kill other kids, and they wonder what has happened to our once Christian nation?...The polls suggest that this generation will be the last generation in America with a Chrstian world view...The polls suggested that only around 4% of people in the future here in America will have a Christian world view...How scary is that?...Look at Europe thats how America will look in the future if something isn't done about it.

Quote# 54693

It is not a healthy perspective to be an atheist, nor is it logical since God is proven in the Proof for God of the Bible. To not know your purpose given by God is most uneventful and dull.

You may be able to mindlessly self-declare things on other forums, but here you will continue to get infractions for your self-declarations which you never back up. That's why they are of self not needing reason. Such infractions will include statements like, "Not traits practiced by most of christianity today" even though you have no evidence for your claim given, and "The old testament is a butchery of the Jewish Bible, twisted to justify the Messiahship of Jesus" even though you have no evidence presented. Since we have 62 prophecies that point to Christ and you can't overturn them, then what do you have but self-declarations? This is not a forum for that kind of selfish behavior.

Once you realize Jesus walked on earth, you'll also need to account for the writers of the Bible reporting Jesus' words Jesus saying He is God, and seeing Him resurrected.

You don't need to be the oldest religion to be the right one, for many false religions have been operating such as the one that built the pyramids or the one that says you can come back as a chicken in Hinduism with always another chance to come back as a human. This does not deal with sin righteously if you know you can stay in sin to be redeemed later. God will never save such a person.

Praise Jesus! I was visiting a Chrisitian bookstore this afternoon, when all of a sudden I heard it! I heard the mighty trumpet of Jesus, blowing loud and hard, calling all Christians home. It was as if I had been struck by lightning! I dropped the book I was perusing, stood stock still with my arms pointed skyward and said "YES LORD!". The shopkeep and the two other people in the shop looked at me as if I was insane. Turns out they knew something I didn't. The 1:45 fright train crosses the road every day at that time, and usually blows it's whistle when it's going through the intersection. I was sooo embarassed! But hey, at least I know I'll be ready when the real one comes! I'd rather be a bit embarrassed than unsaved!!

Quote# 54596

Since you, the state of "israel", is a demonocratic abomination and one of God's worst enemies. You are the ones behind most of the worlds suffering, and you are the ones guilty of the financial crisis. The protocols of the elders of sion clearly states that you are the inventors of capitalism, liberalism, communism and masonry. You control the world's banks and the western world's government.

Your moves are easy to predict, however. Your puppet in Georgia's war against Russia and several zionist "christian" protestant heretic's lie that Russia is the Magog and will be destroyed by "israel" clearly shows that your next move will be one against Russia.

However, in your greed, you have stolen more money than usual from your "GOYIM" puppets, perhaps a bit to much. More people are awakening and looking through your lies. The international organized Jewery is starting to become impopular, at least here in Europe. I wouldn't be surprised if Jesus would soon return and lead the free peoples of the earth in a great world war against "israel" and her puppets.

DEATH TO ISRAEL!!!

Quote# 54760

I was listening to the Wicked soundtrack in the car(because it's one of the only Broadway shows I like because it isn't dirty) and I thought of something interesting. For those who don't know, Wicked tells the back story of the Wicked Witch of the West, and why she's known as the wicked witch. Long story short, she's just misunderstood because the wizard tries to use her, and she's friends with Glinda. Well, the show opens with all the citizens of Oz celebrating her melting. Glinda shows us the story in a flashback. By the end, they're singing the same song in sad tones, because now everyone knows the whole story.

It got me thinking about George Bush. Right now, everyone is celebrating his leaving, much like they were celebrating Elphaba(the witch's name)'s death. By the time four years pass, everyone might be looking back at Bush's leaving sadly because Obama was much worse, and we know Bush only did his best.

It's amazing how a childrens' show can inspire so much thought.
