Quote# 53654

My g.daughter is 15 and just announced recently that she is gay..We love her no matter what but can't condone this life style because it is against our conservative values and I believe what the Bible says literally.. She is living with her Dad who isn't a good role model and has accepted her lifestyle along with her other Grandmother, Grandfather and Uncle (who is a Lutheren preacher) they are all ok with this... Her Mother and Dad have been divorced several years and her Mom wasn't a good role model either.. Mom has changed her life now for the better and wanted her to come live with her but she said she would not change !! She would not give up her "friends" and Mom would have to "get over it" .. Mom told her she wouldn't tolerate this and they have had a huge argument about it.. my question is.. what do we say/do to this 15 year old?? She is so defensive that it is difficult to talk to her.. doesn't want to be around any of her "conservative" relatives even for Thanksgiving.. I told her on the phone that I love her no matter what but I belive what she is doing is wrong.. I have pointed out things in the Bible that show it being wrong.. It is rampant in the schools now and on T.V.. Are any of you dealing with this.. It is so sad and tearing so many families up.. Thanks..

Quote# 53608

Folks, God created the woman's body to reproduce. Every Christian mother should want to have as many children as possible. Sterilization should only be performed in extremely serious situations where the mother's life may be threatened if she has another child. Howbeit, you have to be real careful with this type of reasoning because Planned Parenthood (and the medical profession as a whole) are often telling woman that their bodies CAN'T HANDLE ANOTHER BABY. It's just an excuse of the murderous abortion industry.

Quote# 53703

*stephen colbert's christmas "are you high" parody*

My heart is so weary from the endless mockery of Jesus. Hunky Jesus contest, the Last Supper, gays yelling that Jesus was gay in churches, this ~ Willie Nelson actually singing a song to Jesus Christ who died for his sins, and Willie's response is 'here, smoke some pot'. It honestly hurts my heart. Here lately, it actually seems as if I can hear the earth groaning for His return...to put an end to sin. The days just seem to keep getting darker.
You're right ~ they will bow down to Him. One way or the other, they will bow and bring Him glory.
---
yes, i think they have finally killed the last brain cell they had between them
---
Bill O'reilly talked about this on his show last night.Me and my husband were speachless when we heard this trash.JUst stared at each other like this---->
---
I saw this, too. I was like . I couldn't stand it so I turned it OFF!
I used to like Willie Nelson....the man is now brain dead as far as I'm concerned.
God will NOT be mocked, Willie. I want to be there, looking from above, when you bow down at the feet of the Lord whom you tried to debase. I wanna see it when you confess there is ONE Lord and His name is Jesus, the very One you mocked! It'll be too late then, Willie. Huff and puff while you can.

If evolution were to have taken place as claimed then we surely would have the ability to fly. This would give us better selections and abilities for food and mates and resources etc.. The only way we have been able to fly is thru the use of our intelliect and NOT unaided as even a flying insect can.. I can't imagine Evolution exculting beneficial characteristics does not make any since does it?

Quote# 53687

Sen. Chris Buttars wants Utah's Legislature to declare its opposition to the "war on Christmas."

The West Jordan Republican is sponsoring a resolution encouraging retailers to embrace Christmas in their promotions rather than the generic "holidays."

"It would encourage the use of 'Merry Christmas,'" Buttars said of the non-binding statement that is still being drafted. "I'm sick of the Christmas wars -- we're a Christian nation and ought to use the word."

Several fellow lawmakers he wouldn't yet name support his effort, added Buttars, who has a long history of championing the socially conservative agenda of the Utah Eagle Forum.

Quote# 53549

Associated Press

SAN ANTONIO – A man who rammed his truck into a woman's vehicle on a highway early Friday told authorities he crashed into her while going more than 100 mph because God told him "she needed to be taken off the road."

The truck rear-ended the car on U.S. Highway 281, both vehicles spun across a median then came to a stop along a barrier in the opposite lanes. Both drivers suffered only minor injuries.

"He just said God said she wasn't driving right, and she needed to be taken off the road," Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kyle Coleman said in the online edition of the San Antonio Express-News. "God must have been with them, 'cause any other time, the severity of this crash, it would have been a fatal."

The pickup driver did not tell police how the woman was driving. Police could not find alcohol or drugs in either driver.

A psychiatric evaluation has been ordered for a man.

(I hope it was THIS man)

Quote# 53674

Evolutionists live and die by eight words: “Give me enough time, and anything can happen.” They make statements like: “If all the monkeys in the world were sitting at all the typewriters in the world, eventually they would produce the works of Shakespeare by random chance.”

This is all pure nonsense. It is only smoke and mirrors. This is the evolutionists’ use of stage magic to try and support a fairy tale for adults

It doesn’t matter how much time you might have, some things simply will not happen in spite of all the faith you might have. For example, you will never throw the number seven (the most common combination of two die), with a fair pair of dice, 27 straight times. It is mathematically impossible. It will not happen by random chance; it cannot happen! Faith or no faith, it will not happen.

Quote# 53617

(In response to a question from a Christian asking how she can bring her atheist friend to God)

I can't say this is the answer, but, the fact that he is an atheist means that he believes in God, because you cannot not believe in something that you do not believe exists. Perhaps if you where to ask him questions like, "why do you think we are here?" or "where do you think we go when we leave here?" or "do you believe that you will have to pay consequences for your actions?" -- perhaps those kinds of questions will trigger his imagination to be more open to at least speculate that there may be a higher being in this world and that people did not just involve on this planet for absolutely no reason.

when my son was a baby, he would look at a picture of Jesus and his face would like up like he knew exactly who Jesus was. Honestly, that was one thing that really strengthened my faith knowing that my baby as little as he was knew who God was.

Yesterday when we were at Walmart Dakota was playing with the nativity figuers on the shelf. So I started to tell him about the birth of Jesus and how God loved us so much He sent Jesus to us as a little baby. And Dakota said he's here now, when can my see Him. I said if mommy is right soon very soon.

Quote# 53634

The US Constitution has been undermined and American society/culture in general, demoralized. Gay marraige and abortion will become a federal mandates. Our liberty is eroding at breakneck speed. We are seeing and hearing the shadows of extreme anti-christ fascism that is rising in this nation. The parrallels between the Weimar republic of Germany and America are obvious. Germany murdered 6 million in their holocaust. America has now murdered over 49 million in a holocaust fueled by lust and pornography and a so called "right".

When America reaches 50 million aborted babies we will see God's judgement poured out on this nation. Judgement will fall on this nation for it's national sin of the shedding of innocent blood. God judged Sodom because of the "cries". Can you hear the babies crying out? 50 million are crying out and Jesus Christ hears everyone of them. The blood of 50 million babies are crying out for vengeance. Every Christians faith will be tested and many will faint. This fascism will be more evil than Nazi Germany. Lord Jesus, come quickly!

Quote# 53547

[on a new book "The Marketing of Evil" on how liberal, Harvard-educated marketeers deceived Americans into accepting women's reproductive rights, gay rights, body-piercing, and the separation of church and state]

Americans have come to tolerate, embrace and even champion many things that would have horrified their parents' generation – from easy divorce and unrestricted abortion-on-demand to extreme body piercing and teaching homosexuality to grade-schoolers. Does that mean today's Americans are inherently more morally confused and depraved than previous generations? Of course not, says veteran journalist David Kupelian. But they have fallen victim to some of the most stunningly brilliant and compelling marketing campaigns in modern history.

"The Marketing of Evil" reveals how much of what Americans once almost universally abhorred has been packaged, perfumed, gift-wrapped and sold to them as though it had great value. Highly skilled marketers, playing on our deeply felt national values of fairness, generosity and tolerance, have persuaded us to embrace as enlightened and noble that which all previous generations since America’s founding regarded as grossly self-destructive – in a word, evil.

For example, few of us realize that the widely revered father of the "sexual revolution" has been irrefutably exposed as a full-fledged sexual psychopath who encouraged pedophilia. Or that giant corporations voraciously competing for America's $150 billion teen market routinely infiltrate young people's social groups to find out how better to lead children into ever more debauched forms of "authentic self-expression."

Likewise, most of us mistakenly believe the "abortion rights" and "gay rights" movements were spontaneous, grassroots uprisings of neglected or persecuted minorities wanting to breathe free. Few people realize America was actually "sold" on abortion thanks to an audacious public relations campaign that relied on fantastic lies and fabrications. Or that the "gay rights" movement – which transformed America's former view of homosexuals as self-destructive human beings into their current status as victims and cultural heroes – faithfully followed an in-depth, phased plan laid out by professional Harvard-trained marketers.

ok IF arms are more useful than wings then why don't we have arms that can reach well into the tree tops like giraffes necks can with our "Evolved" arms "UNAIDED" we can ONLY reach to the bottom of trees there is vast amount of fruits higher up that we are missing.. climbing the tree takes up a lot of energy that would need replaced by eating additional food which would be a counter to utilizing our environment to the greatest benefit to us using extra resources seems counter to the Evolution argument. Climbing the trees also can lead to increased chances of physical damage to self i.e. broken bones etc.. Why are more animals not like the Giraffe.

Quote# 53499

Does the human heart prove evolution wrong?

Recent medical findings have found that the human heart plays several roles with how we actually feel and think. In fact, the human heart is the only organ that can communicate with the brain in 4 different ways:

1) Neurological communication (nervous system)
2) Biophysical communication (pulse wave)
3) Biochemical communication (hormones)
4) Energetic communication (electromagnetic fields)

This would explain why our heart hurts when we lose some one near and dear to us. And it is now believed that one of the functions of the heart deals with our emotions and attitude. But because heart transplants have become more of the norm for a failing heart. Another unexpected side effect has come up. The people who received the donor heart can often experience:

1) The other person's memories.
2) The other person's food cravings.
3) Some of the other person's attitudes.
4) And some of the fears, hates, and loves of different things.

As the video below will show as several heart transplant people tell their stories.

This would explain why Christ resides in a person's heart when they are saved. It also explains why God said that he hardened Pharaoh's heart towards Moses instead of changing his mind. God knew, even before medical science, that emotion of love and hate reside in the heart and not in our minds. If you would like to do more study on this new area of research. Google these words: Heart brain, Heart brain connection, Heart math , Heart transplant memories. Those who would like to do a Biblical research, just use a Bible search engine and search for the word heart. You will see the word of God start to make sense in this area, when before this information came out, it did not.

Quote# 53502

We don't think the sun rises and sets with Bush and any other President. But this is what we're seeing with the Obama followers. It's eerie how little they know about him and ignore his incredible lack of experience, yet believe that he's going to somehow make everything perfect. Look up sychophant. It describes Obama followers to a T.

He's the most pro-abortion candidate ever. He's a socialist. He has no executive experience. He wants to change the war against jihadists into a police activity. And he's following FDR's failed footsteps economically.

Obama is not going to bring healing to the country. The history of his proposals, which is extensive, shows that his policies will bring pain. Is it wrong to oppose that? We are going to get different results and they aren't going to be good. We'll go from bad to worse.

Only Jesus will bring the type of change that Obama followers are assigning to Obama. It's worship of a human and it's quite unBiblical.

"If that were even remotely true, then the majority of scientists"

The scientific community has been controlled by evolutionists since the 1050's. They discriminate against anyone putting forth evidence that does not conform to evo fantasy. This is not evidence for evolution, but an argument based upon an appeal of the majority, and in this case, it is incalid.

"Evolution has mountains of evidence"

Not a shred. Science destroys evolutionsim.

[...your foundation is utterly without any evidence. You have no documentation or observation of either heaven or hell or god or the devil. A house built on sand will fall you know. Best build on actual rock.]

Just because YOU need the mioptic mindset even you cannot base FACTS on doesn't say a dam thing about God not being real.

Don't loath what you are so pridefully ignorant of and surely don't play smug with such a pseudo-intellect.

There are many events and such that are real and science cannot prove or disprove and let these things go as unexplained.

Science has learned in recent years that prayer is real and causes factual changes as evidence in the brain and body.
Many things are proven to be seen or known and yet no scientific basis as yet to prove.
Evolution is hardly more than a moronic theory and yet you duh student thinks ya got the facts.

Talk about blind faith!

[Choate talks about... Choate.]

Requesting a gift for a prophetic word- We believe it is only right when you give when requesting for a prophetic word.A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight(Proverbs 11:1) This ministry is only in existence because of your financial support. Without your money given, Stephen would not be full-time. He would be forced to work in the world because of money. When you support his work in God, you give to God. Why? Because this is the LORD's work. Since you can never out-give God, you will always receive a return. Not just financially, but by the supernatural gift Stephen has. Some people think we are charging for the word of the LORD, when we are not. We are allowing you access into Stephen's private life. This access can only be created by money, which is your gift. You are paying for the access, by the gift you give. When you honor a prophet, you receive the prophet's reward. Honor will return to you because Stephen is truly God's.

Quote# 53487

(What might happen after the Rapture?)

Unrestrained evil will result in a wave of crime. The elderly will be "put to death" becuase there will be no one to care for them or a heart to care for them. Dr. Kevorkian types abounding. There will be a wave of suicides. Robbery and rapes will be common place.

Many people will actually be glad we are gone. They will be unrestrained in their pursuit of pleasure and debauchery. There will be little to nothing restaining thier evil. It will be every man for himself.

I dread to think the new uses for our houses of worship? Just as the Arabs celebrated in the streets at the collapse ot the twin towers in NY; there will likewise be celebrating by our enemies were we once knelt at the alter to receive christ.

Cities will be in crisis. There will be problems with the flow of water and electricity. There will no one to clean the buildings. There will be no one to work in restaurants. There will be no garbage pick up for weeks. There will be shortages of doctors and nurses. Your chiropractor will be gone. The grocery store will be empty. The trucking industry will come to a stand still. Farms will grow quiet. Construction will grind to a hault.

The news media will be busy with excitement and pleasure covering the story of the century. Hollywood folks will be scratching their heads and calling their phychiatrists. San Francisco will be wondering what in the world everyone is upset about. Government officials will be promising bailouts and blaming the former President who has now gone into hiding. Congress will hold hearings and pretend to be smart and caring.

My friends and colleagues left behind will be saying we should have listened to Mark. He was right. They'll say, "God forgive us" "Help us Lord Jesus remain faithful to you until the end"

The Atheists need to crawl back under their rock they slithered out of! 80% of the world is Christian, so why should be bend-over backwards to please the 20% that aren't? They can just keep their TRAPS SHUT. Do we bit** and moan when Muslims celebrate Ramadan, or blacks celebrate Kwanza? NO. Let us have our CHRISTMAS TREE without them complaining!
