Quote# 54946

(after explaining how the Bible tells us black people were destined to be servants)

All throughout the Bible there is warnings not to marry different races.

As Christians, we are to obey the Bible, not to be politically correct. The whole "intergration" movement is, in my opinion, part of the politically correct agenda that we as Christians need to stay away from. I will post about why our family believes interracial marriage to be wrong. (As a side note, last time I said anything about this I got a heap of junk from Ken Ham sent to me...I am not interested in what Ken Ham has to say...he doesn't even believe the King James Bible for starters. If you can refute what I say that's fine, I'm just not interested in what he has to say anymore because I think I've been sent it so many times I have almost memorized it haha).

Hope this helps explain my beliefs a little. By the way, I know many black friends who believe it is wrong for them to marry white people or orientals, and nobody calls them racist. It's only racist if a white person says it, as usual in this world.

Quote# 54964

Just because I like pizza it doesn’t mean I should marry it. Biologically, I am predisposed to enjoy the immaculate melding of mozzarella cheese, red sauce and thick crust baked to tasty perfection. But that doesn’t mean I should enter into a lifelong commitment with Sicilian or plain, nor bed it down, nor bring children into the world and have them have to explain to their classmates why their mom’s crust is not a crisp as it once was. Does any child deserve to have their friends tossing Monday 2 for 1 coupons in his face? Not in my world they don’t. Yet, to say that I am against pizza-eaters or gays is absurd. Our Saddleback Church offer more weight-watchers meetings to overeaters than any other evangelical megachurch on the west coast.”

Quote# 54937

Jesus fulfilled 126 Old Testament Bible prophecies about Himself in his short 33 years on earth.

The Mathematical Odds of Jesus Fulfilling Prophecy

The following probabilities are taken from Peter Stoner in Science Speaks (Moody Press, 1963) to show that coincidence is ruled out by the science of probability.

Stoner says that by using the modern science of probability in reference to just eight prophecies, 'we find that the chance that any man might have lived down to the present time and fulfilled all eight prophecies is 1 in 1017."

That would be 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000. In order to help us comprehend this staggering probability, Stoner illustrates it by supposing that "we take 1017 silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They will cover all of the state two feet deep.

"Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick up one silver dollar and say that this is the right one.

What chance would he have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would have had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man."

Stoner considers 48 prophecies and says, "we find the chance that any one man fulfilled all 48 prophecies to be 1 in 10157, or 1 in

100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, 000, 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

The estimated number of electrons in the universe is around 1079. It should be quite evident that Jesus did not fulfil the prophecies by accident."

*Chuck Norris commenting on those who steal baby Jesus' from Nativity scenes. Yes, it is that Chuck Norris.*

Back here in the state of Texas, when the Jesus statuette was heisted from the nativity of the Herrera family of North Richland Hills, Gloria Herrera, 48, a Catholic, passionately conveyed what we are all wondering, "They took the family Jesus. How can anybody do that?" What type of world do we live in when hoodlums (young and old) commit sacrilege for entertainment?

These religious heists beg the question: Is stealing baby Jesus figurines harmless juvenile fun or intentional hate crimes? Whatever the answer to each, there's absolutely nothing funny about vandalism. Skeptics might mock these defacements as negligible crimes, but stealing the soul of nativities is one more dismal sign of a culture gone awry. Religious Grinches who steal these symbolic Christs are pathetic piles of yuletide trash.

Quote# 55072

Homosexuality is not natural, and it deviates from GOD’S OBVIOUS DESIGN. If the laws of nature started mimicking homosexuality, and positives were attracted to positives, the entire universe would collapse! I’m showing you that male and female is a concept that permeates everything we are, even to the way charged particles operate! It is the Law, established by the all-knowing Lawgiver.

Men having sex with men means positive with positive (male organ to male organ), and where is the organ built to receive? Women having sex with women means negative with negative (female organ with female organ), and where is the organ to give? Do you see this? It doesn’t matter how many degrees a person may have. To deny this simple wisdom that even a child can understand, is rebellion. Rebellion is the root to blindness to God and His obvious principles.

A man with a man is confusion. A woman with a woman is confusion. There is no organ built for it. No children can come of such unions, unless man plays scientist in these matters. No life comes from homosexuality; it is lifeless. It can bring forth no children. It also makes the homosexual lifeless. It is not in line with life-after-death (according to scripture, homosexuals do not go to heaven...it’s a blanket statement). Isn’t it odd, that if two males are together, one inevitably becomes a female: female mannerisms, speech, etc. If two females, one of the two takes on masculine facial features as if on testosterone. Is this, too, a mark of judgment? A better way to look at this is: if you tell God no, you inevitably tell the devil yes.

[review of a site called 'Evolution for Creationists']

No! Evolution and Creationism are mutually exclusive! The six days in the Bible are literal. And evolution (molecule-to-man theory) is NOT fact. SOME scientists just interpret the actual facts wrong. Pople just made the story up so they could shirk their responsibility to God, their Creator and Savior.

Quote# 55230

message to atheists:

I hope you don't take this as an insult, but atheism is literally the MOST foolish thing you can do.

Why? Because you are risking ETERNAL damnation, based upon some ridiculous abstract argument you thought up yourself.

Or even more ridiculous, some abstract argument you heard in college. (Yeah, not even your own original argument!)

Guess what? Eternal damnation is the worst thing that can happen to you, bar none. I'm not trying to frighten you here, I'm just stating facts.

If (and only if) eternal damnation is true, (and that is the BIG IF) ....

then nothing else matters.

You simply HAVE to avoid eternal damnation, if it is even a REMOTE possibility. Period.

I remember in philosophy class in college, they tried to brainwash us into becoming atheists for the first month of class.

And they threw up a straw-man version of Pascal's wager. And they said that Pascal's wager fails, because it fails to take into account the myriads of different tiny, dead, or extinct religions.

That is like saying we should let the Communist party rule America because they took less than 1 percent of the vote.

The fact is, it is RATIONAL to believe in one of the GIANT LIVING religions of the world. It is desperately IRRATIONAL to believe in any of the ridiculous tiny, dead, or extinct religions.

Why? Because God would assist the true religion to prosper. It's just rational to believe that He would do so. It is also simply pragmatic and practical to believe that he would.

Only the 5 major living world religions are seriously worth studying. And Christianity wins on every level-headed measure. (I can't go into details here, would take too long).

Sorry atheists, I'm trying to do you a favor here, by saving you from what might literally be the worst thing EVER.

I know you are going to get all angry at me, and offended, and so forth. But I mean well. I really do. I feel sorry for you. (I know, you are going to get even more offended, but I'm just being brutally honest here).

May God bless you. He certainly loves you, that much we know.

Quote# 55016

Our Government in the U.S.A. consists of the executive (head of eagle), Legislative (wings, both right wingers and left wingers, composed of senate and house, of many men, feathers), and the Judicial which is composed of our nine Justices of the Supreme Court and nine tail feathers.

Anyone who knows about flying, does realize that the tail of the plane, bird, rocket or anything controls the direction of travel up or down. When the tail points up, you go up. When the tail points down you go down because of the wind resistance.

When our Supreme Court took prayer out of public schools in 1962 because a Jewish woman who ran the Communist Party Bookstore in Baltimore, Maryland named Madelyn Murry O'Hair, complained about Christ they started the U.S.A. downward.

God who keeps track of the hairs on your head, is going to whip Uncle Sam real soon, because of what has happened.

The eagle looks to peace (the thirteen olives and the thirteen leaves) but will fight, represented by the thirteen arrows of war.

A priest has died after trying to demonstrate how Jesus walked on water.

Evangelist preacher Franck Kabele, 35, told his congregation he could repeat the biblical miracle.

But he drowned after walking out to sea from a beach in the capital Libreville in Gabon, west Africa.

One eyewitness said: “He told churchgoers he’d had a revelation that if he had enough faith, he could walk on water like Jesus.

“He took his congregation to the beach saying he would walk across the Komo estuary, which takes 20 minutes by boat.

“He walked into the water, which soon passed over his head and he never came back.”

("Personally this whole thing could have been solved by not letting any specific religious type symbols in a state capital.")

But then the anti-religious groups would have an outright monopoly on free speech and public expression. Because only religious groups would be banned from exhibiting their beliefs in public which is what Dan Barker's anti-Christians want. People will be fined for preaching the Gospel in public, but Dan Barker and his gang of Hipster Doofuses will be able to shout obscenities at Christians and it will be considered free speech.

There are places were the government is founded on atheistic principles and people are imprisoned and tortured for practicing their religion openly in public. This is what Dan Barker wants to happen in the United States.

If he and members of his gang had the political power that tyrants like Stalin and Hitler had they would do the same things they have done.

Quote# 54922

The education system is nothing but a thought filter, a mind filter. They force minds to think in certain directions...and if the mind doesn't think in a certain way then it is turned away and/or deemed unsuccessful. The academia in this country is in the business of indoctrinating kids' minds at an early age...and they do this by withholding information and evidence that might otherwise shape their worldview in a way they don't like. As for those who slip through the cracks -- like you and me -- who question the orthodoxy, we are to be ridiculed and laughed at. If we decide to enter a field of science or medicine, we are not to be given jobs and/or we are publically embarrassed. Today's education system offers no room for dissenters. It's run much like a communist block country.

Quote# 55046

Bible prophecy tells us that in 1798 (the year that America was "officially recognized" as a country by the rest of the world), a country would rise up out of a sparsely populated area, that would have both civil and religious liberty. It would start out "like a Lamb" (Christlike), but would end up "speaking like a dragon" (Satan). This is the country that Revelation describes as "the image to the Beast". This country will eventually force the rest of the world to obey the dictates of the First Beast. (a "beast" in Bible prophecy represents a government or world power). The point of contention will be over an issue of worship. The First Beast will want the world to worship ITS way, not God's way.
