Fear of Jesus reveals the depth of one's self-loathing.

Portayal of Jesus as a name-calling bully? WTF?

Read the Gospels, whoever thinks Jesus will call you names and bully you. Ask a pastor or priest about it.

I've never heard of self-hatred being able to do this. It's like deep down, being persecuted and spat on is what these people get off on. Despite all appearances, some people will engineer situations which they can be victimized. It's almost what you'd call a fetish.

Oh Lord ...

Quote# 41939

What answer would satisfy the mind of a finite creature about an Infinite God? If the answer was given to you would you believe in something you don't understand? If you take the time to study to show yourself approved to God, a workman not being ashamed , rightfully dividing the WORD of truth, you would not have a problem with the Bible's answer to this question. Research, study weigh out the pros's and con's. Then make a choice to believe or disbelieve, because you'll have an understanding that you didn't have so the ball is in your court! Are you willing to commit time in research? (Free will is just making a choice/decision based on feelings, information or some guided unbelief or belief.)

Quote# 41887

[On the recent ice discovery on Mars]

In fact, this particular icy discovery should cause a cold feeling for evolutionists, who would much prefer to find liquid water but instead have found only this scant evidence of subsurface ice. And of course, the very idea that liquid or frozen water on Mars is a “big thing” comes straight from the evolutionary faith that where there’s water, life will follow. In fact, that’s the entire premise of today’s Martian landers.

[snip]

Since the focus of God’s plan occurs on planet Earth—and since nearly every chapter of the Bible takes place somewhere on planet Earth4—when it comes to astronomy, creationists have a basic framework in which to research and explore but few revealed details. This doesn’t mean we can rewrite what God’s Word clearly teaches—that the entire universe dates back only 6,000 or so years, with most of the universe having been created on Day 4 of Creation Week. But looking to the heavens gives us a great opportunity to research, theorize, and sit in awe of God’s majesty and creation—and, as is the case more and more today, exercise our critical thinking skills.

Yes, Were living in them I also believe that Obama will win and do wonderous things in office and bring peace in the middle east, and give the Jews back there land as was predicted in the bible then he will make himself a throne in the new temple and his fangs and true colors will come out and he will slay all those who refuse to worship him as the Messiah. I truly believe he is the Anti Christ. I dont want him to win but know he will because it was predicted and that he is just a means to an end!

Quote# 41921

[several posts all in one, she was just too good to miss]

Look, this is not a MYOB matter.

As long as the LGTB (Lesbian, Bay, Transexual Bigender) (oh, and also Heterosexual men who have sex with men, and Cross Dressers) Community continues their legal bully of ANYONE with moral beliefs ---not just the LDS folk---we have a problem.

When the ACLU and other LGTB organizations continue to :
• legally bully photographers into photographing them, even though it violates the photographer's religious beliefs
• leagally bully churches into allowing their gazebos to be used
•deny freedom of speech to the citizens of Canada (anyone who speaks out against homosexual practices in print is fined)
•pass laws like SB777 in CA mandating that children k-12 be immersed in material exposing them to a variety of sexual options

LOOK FOLKS, it isn't just about you anymore. It's starting to be an encroachment on my rights as a parent and my religious freedom.

Stop the passing of laws that infringe upon my rights.

I met someone who was gay recently and he agrees with me. If this radical infringement does not stop, it can only hurt the LGTB community.

[in a later post]

The solution, of course, is to just be angry with anyone with moral or religious thought. You are as bigoted as the bigots you point your finger at.

As for evolution, I don't have a problem with it being taught. Charles Darwin was a brilliant scientist.

As for global warming, check out Google Video's "The Great Global Warming Swindle" which interviews only a sampling of the thousands of climatologists who do not agree with the political hypermania called global warming. Be careful when you say "widely accepted by the scientific community" Because that is not the case.

Science is a process, but it flourishes in a free community, in which scientists are allowed to have a free exchange of ideas and share their data with each other. If they are politically gagged, the truth cannot be derived.

Same with the ongoing discussion as to weather the re-defining of centuries-old and millenia-old marriage by four activist judges in CA is a wise idea.

[one more nugget of brilliance]

You are wrong about that. It's not just us ignorant, Bible-totin' folk that embrace that oh-so-outdated and archaic notion of heterosexual marriage. It's in every culture since the dawn of time, and redefining it now to suit our own urges and proclivities is simply a short-winded experiment.

So tonight I was talking with my siblings about whats going on in the world and how the prophecies are being played out as the bible told us they would. They were arguing with me saying, 'No, we are just in a recession." I was like, "we are in the end times, the bible is unfolding right in front of our eyes!" They again starting saying stuff about how everyone said that too in the 80's and [blah-blah-blah smiley]. it just makes me frustrated that they do not see the Lord's return is imminent. I just really wish everyone would feel as strong as we do... [Rolling eyes smiley]

[Letter to the Editor in the Salt Lake Tribune after LDS Church leaders instructed members in California to vote for a constitutional amendment supporting "traditional" marriage.]

Letter: Strengthen families
Public Forum Letter
Article Last Updated: 06/27/2008 10:50:00 AM MDT

I am so grateful that the leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are weighing in on the proposal to amend California's constitution to prohibit gay marriage. These men are quiet about so much, but there comes a time when we all must take a stand, and it's time for me to follow their lead.
As I think about the gay marriage battle, I can't help but realize how ridiculous it is. Marriages in this country are ending faster than they begin, and it only seems to be getting worse. With marriage rates at an all-time low, do we really want to allow even more people to get married? Why not legalize marriage for 14-year-olds while we're at it?
California, and every state for that matter, needs to focus on legislation designed to strengthen existing family units rather than creating more family units, which seem destined to fail. If we could all focus our energy on building lasting marriages, we could create change rather than controversy. Maybe then, when more people are staying married than getting divorced, we could think about extending marriage rights!

You're correct, it takes a village was Socialist code! Hillary was saying the sate takes your kids, and Obama is saying the same thing. In Communist countries, this is what happened, they take the children and indoctrinate them and later they join the Communist youth groups. Those children become soldiers, they are forced labor, as well as political militants, and they are brain-washed and used as propaganda. Their morals are totally corrupted, as well. Their parents have no say. We better wake up and fast!

[About Canadian Health Care]

Compassion truly is in how the least of these are cared for. But putting EVERYONE under govt programs isn't compassionate because it makes things worse.

I don't have problems with programs for those truly in need. But you can't bring everyone under the system and expect to maintain quality.

Of course people in Canada would say this. They've bought the socialist lies hook, line, and sinker.

Here's a good idea. People who want national health care should move to Canada. Why ruin the U.S. with socialism?

Mr Chick is a misinformed idiot who is going to hell...

His tracks about Catholicism reveals to me that he's a complete idiot when it comes to history. Chick tracts should be outlawed!

Can just imagine what will happen when he is the one going to hell. "Depart from me, you that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:23 Douay-Rheims) "Nooo Jesus!" I didn't know that I weren't allowed to get rich by fooling stupid Americans and spreading heresy! I didn't know that salvation is of works! I didn't know that the pope is you vicar on earth! I didn't know that you hated capitalism!" (sending him to hell) "NOO, please don't do that Jesus! Why didn't you tell me? This is so unfair! AAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!"

I would like to have an inquisitor teaching him right and wrong! Sadly they didn't attack heretics, they only hunted false converts...

Quote# 41903

This morning the subject of Rush's teaser was CERN, the 17 mile diameter atom-smasher in Geneva, Switzerland. I had heard of this before, but forgotten all about it.

Well, according to Rush, it is due to go online in August and although there are over 3,000 physicists working on the project, many other physicists are quite apprehensive. The realm of 'unintended consequences' is vast and sobering: everything from melting down the earth to creating a black hole for the earth to be swallowed in.

[...]

So, now my question is this: Could this in fact be something that may set into motion some of the horrific natural catastrophes Bible Prophecy speaks of? I'm ruling out the black hole and the earth melting, obviously, but if they really don't know what is going to happen, that leaves the door wide open for other events.

As Rush summed it up in his teaser, get your affairs in order, the end is coming in August. Of course, he is saying this tongue in cheek, but, he is saying it.

Look, I know there is alot of talk about if this or that is REAL.

SO ... I'll give you some basics and answer your question which was... is there any safe places?

First, There is indeed a God and there is indeed an entire huge group of beings who's only concern is themselves and their EGOS AND THEY ARE AGAINST GOD and all who follow HIM

Second, These beings that are modernly called ufo's or aliens are indeed fallen angles who have taken their DNA AND MIXED it with the race of ADAM'S DNA.

THERE ARE 57 KNOWN BREEDS OF MIXED DNA TYPES .... COMMONLY KNOWN AS ALIENS.

ALL OF THIS IS COMING OUT, VERIFIABLE BY FORMER MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN WHO WILL NOT BE SILENT ABOUT WHAT THEY KNOW ANY LONGER...

This is why that kid was in a panic.... He found a group of them and discovered that they are BREEDING US making huge hybrids FOR THEIR ARMY ....

[and it goes on and on and on...]

I'm going to update this as we different events happen related to Obama and his link to AntiChrist.
What is known so far, which are facts, no speculation:
- when he was born there were record heat waves
- when Hillary dropped out of the race and he was nominated there were record heat waves
- when he was running for office in IL he was a distant candidate but he won two times because the front runners dropped out of the race due to scandals
- recently he has been quoted to dispute the Bible, have you heard of the New Testament Mr Obama?
- the current Pope is the last Pope before the False Prophet.
- December 21, 2012 an event predicted by Nostradamus, Mayans and Book of Revelation happens
- Nostradamus predicted the name of Anti-Christ to be Mabus and that is what you get when you take Obamas names

Too many coincidences, well I will keep you posted.

You do not understand, nor believe in the power of Him. Say as a young child you are sent away to live in the wilderness. No human contact, no books, no bible, nothing. You have just learned to survive all these years. Of course this isn't your fault and our wonderful mercyful God will see that. He knows your situation and God will find you, even when you can't find Him. Sometimes it takes terrible things (not caused by him but the Devil) to make us see that. But remember ask and ye shall recieve. Walk with the Earth Mother, Praise the Heavenly Father.
