there are different opinions among Christians, just as there are among scientists. I have stated mine. Now about carbon dating, it is certainly nota conspiracy, and I do respect it. But once we get beyond the historical periodand the period of tree ring calibration, I think C14 dating might be on slippery ground. Sure, the half life of C14 is well known (about 5,700 years), but are we certain that the C12/C14 ratio in the atmosphere has remained stable? Bear in mind that the nuclear tests in the atmosphere have thrown it off. I'm only raisingthis question as food for thought. Again - I believe in the b[ible]

[On Europe's rapid population decline]

There are countless issues connected to these questions, but in the end, this represents a spiritual problem. Some try to explain the drop in birthrates by pointing to economic factors and the high cost of living. Economic factors play a part, no doubt, but families found ways to sustain themselves with children through far harder times than these.

This pattern seems to reflect, at least in part, a sense of cultural and spiritual exhaustion. Has Europe grown weary as a civilization. It would seem hard to deny that this must be linked to the rapid secularization of Europe.

At the very least, some in Europe now see babies and children as a hobby rather than a national priority. That path leads to a most depressing conclusion. As Carl Haub so eloquently explains, "You can't have a country where everybody lives in a nursing home."

"Emily" quoting someone else:

"Albert Einstein will not be forever remembered for an argument about how well his, er, banana fit his hand."

Actually, Ray will be remembered on earth as a soul winner for Christ. And in Heaven, Ray will receive crown(s) for everything he did in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Of course he will always be a mere joke to atheists and other non-believers, because the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing. Speaking of perishing, if you reject Jesus Christ as your Savior, then you too will remember Ray as a soul winner when you're in hell for eternity, regretting your decision.

Well, I want to sue the homosexuals for completely grossing me out! Being subjected to their gay pride parades, men kissing men before exchanging nuptials, when they're broadcast on national news stations causes me mental pain and suffering, and I end up with nauseating images in my mind that can't be erased. I want to sue any and all organizations that support homosexuality, as well as the individual homosexuals themselves!

What is the point of being atheist? Why not beleive in somthing?
I am a person who believes in a god. In my life I have experienced many super-natural, odd things proving to me there is "something more." But even if the bible is all fake, what is the point of being an atheist.

I'm a person who believes in a god but still "sins" daily like everyone else. Now if there was a god, he would realize that EVERYONE sins. As long as you live your life "trying to make the world a better place" rather than being a rotten person committing murder, making it a worse place, you would get into heaven.

Becoming an atheist to me doesn't make sense because I would live my life no differently, and in the end if there WAS a god I would be ****** completely by denying him. If I just accept there is, i have at least a chance to get into this "heaven" rather than guarantee absolutely nothing.

Whats the point in the end in my case?

I'm sorry but I want some solid proof Canada is really there. You see people have rediculous amounts of faith in so many things they cannot prove. But I don't see why God can't exist. Quote# 42659

There already is religion in the public schools, it is called atheistic evolution. Evolution is a religion, a belief system. They don't dare allow creationism to be taught side by side, then the thinking children will see how ludicrous evolution really is. Evolutionary thinking teaches our children that they came from nothing, are here for no reason, there is no one whom they are accountable to and go nowhere when they die. Is it any wonder why they take drugs, seek escapism, kill other kids and themselves? They teach them they are animals and we are surprised when they act like it.
Oh, by the way, the Bible does not prohibit public praying, only when someone prays publicly in order to gain recognition for themselves, wrong motives. Perhaps you should actually read the book before commenting, and not pick and choose passages that you think you can use to support your faulty philosophy.

Christianity - the only logical, rational choice.

The prophets spoke the Words of God, and as such each word was lovingly written down.
No new books have been added to the Bible. And any self proclaimed prophet you see on TV are false prophets, all have failed the Biblical Test of the Prophet: 100% accuracy!

That means no prophet has trod the earth since John the apostle died on Patmos.

Protestants have done many bad things through the history, while the catholic church has almost never done anything wrong. We should be proud of the heroic crusaders who should role models for us, and for the holy inquisition who saved many from hell by silencing false converts.

[Don't you have enough problems in the "great white North" to keep you occupied?] We have, and the only solution is a coup like General Franco's. The "archbishop" of the Lutheran state "church" are going to speak on Stockholm gay pride, he deserve a nail in his neck!

Quote# 42635

All I here from atheists is don't Force you God on me, Wouldn't that make them hypocrites?
Atheist insist that there is no God, which in it's self is a ridiculous claim, because the Earth, is in the exact orbit with the perfect tilt and axis to support life that if we were any closer to the sun we would melt, and if we were any farther we would freeze, but that is besides the point.

I know why Christians speak about Jesus, because it is commanded by us by Jesus Himself, and it is are job to go and tell the world of Christ.

My question is more centered toward the atheist that are so jaded by life, that they insist on dragging people to hell with them. If there is no God, why do atheists get so offended about hearing about Him?

If it is a fictional story why not just listen to it and move on.

I think they are scared that if they are wrong that they are going to Hell and misery loves company.

Hell is a scary thing; I have heard many people say that Hell is Okay, because that’s where all my friends are at.

What kind of friend would relish that fact that their friend will suffer for all eternity

The belief that there is nothing after death is scary to me. Could you imagine nothingness, just to stop existing as we know it.

I have bet on Jesus not with a blind faith, but to something that makes very logical since, and I thank Jesus everyday that he would die for me.

It’s like you or I becoming an ant, and retaining your knowledge trying to save them from their fates, and being spit on and crucified for loving them, for just wanting to be with them.

So why are you so offended by that extraordinary love story? Shouldn’t you be more moved and bewildered that He would die for an ant like you or me?

I mean man come on, you have got to tell where did you pull this from. Do you have a book of how to be dumb for dummies? The organization KKK is answered by MATTHEW 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are raving wolves. You better get on your knees and start praying man because you are playing with fire you don’t want to play with you are gambling with thing you really don’t want to be gambling with.

{concerning the McDonald's corporation supporting gay rights}

My co-worker's 41 year old son was so happy being "gay" that he committed suicide a month ago. It is not a "gay" lifestyle! I sympathize with the workers who will be the ones to lose. When McDonald's revenue is cut, so are jobs. Many people depend on their income from you. Ford Motor Co. found out how strong the grassroots of America really is. I and my family and all of my e-mail friends will be boycotting you until you have a change of heart.

One of the demeaning tactics used by religious bigots (those people who have no tolerance for another person's religious beliefs) is to hammer away that this Country was not founded on Judaeo- Christian principles but some other stuff. Well, rather then go into all the Christian beliefs of the Founding Fathers beginning with John Adams, Samuel Adams, comments of Alexis De Tocqueville, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Patrick Henry, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, thomas Paine, George Washington on. on, on,,,

Question:::::::::::If Atheism is a fact, a proven fact as propounded by Loubro the Windbag,,,,,,,,Why didn't all these brilliant men begin this Country with atheistic concepts like they did in Communist Russia?????????

Its countries like Indonesia and Pakistan and Bolivia all the libral environmentals are threatning so those places should worry about it or ignore the nutjobs and they should leave us alone. Its not are problem.

But global warming is just a hoax. We al know that. Its for politics and libral shame guilt and its for hurting industrys the librals dont like. The scientsts debate it all the time but theres no agrement at all. They used to say the industrys were causing a ice age back in 1970s and now they say its getting to hot. Sure seems like its cold in a lot of places from what I heard. All those valcanoes have more polution every year than the hole 6,000 years weve been around.

Hall said he met some atheists who suggested he read the Bible again. After doing so, he said he had so many unanswered questions that he decided to become an atheist.

His sudden lack of faith, he said, cost him his military career and put his life at risk. Hall said his life was threatened by other troops and the military assigned a full-time bodyguard to protect him out of fear for his safety.

In March, Hall filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, among others. In the suit, Hall claims his rights to religious freedom under the First Amendment were violated and suggests that the United States military has become a Christian organization.

"I think it's utterly and totally wrong. Unconstitutional," Hall said.

Hall said there is a pattern of discrimination against non-Christians in the military.

Two years ago on Thanksgiving Day, after refusing to pray at his table, Hall said he was told to go sit somewhere else. In another incident, when he was nearly killed during an attack on his Humvee, he said another soldier asked him, "Do you believe in Jesus now?"

...He also said he missed out on promotions because he is an atheist.

"I was told because I can't put my personal beliefs aside and pray with troops I wouldn't make a good leader," Hall said.

I don't think this is going to be able to be stopped because I think this is going to be used as an example to us all eventually, Lot tried to stop all the sin and perversion that was happening in Sodom and Gommorah and was unable to, only to see divine justice rain down on the city. I mean look at all the fires that are happening in California now. While Californians are celebrating in their sin their land is literally burning down in fire in front of their eyes.
