Kay, it is never right to murder. Your scenario is situational ethics. Women have more options these days: places to go and people who will adopt that baby.

Most "scenarios" presented are tear-jerking sob stories that represent the minority of abortion cases. The majority of women who abort do so for convenience's sake.

"Well, we finally did it. We elected a Muslin President. An insult to the 43 Christian Men who came before. Whether or not you liked past Presidents, you have to admire the fact that they were all Christian. Not a Jew, not a Muslin, not an atheist. America is a CHRISTIAN NATION. Anything else is just downright insulting. If America still exists in 4 years, I have no doubt in my mind that Sarah Palin will defeat Joe Biden, and become President (I say Joe Biden because I expect that Obama will be impeached, resign, or assassinated by then), restoring good Christian faith to the White House/Oval Office.

Never again will we elect a Muslin man to lead the greatest country for Christians. I have some ideas about how we can prevent this, but some have told me they are too radical. I disagree. I already firmly believe that everybody in the world is born as a Christian, but later in life choose to abandon it or pursue another "faith." Although I hate large amounts of government intervention, I think a law should be created that makes it official: every American is born a Christian. Of course, later in life you can be allowed to convert to any "faith" or "religion" that you want, so there's really no difference in that regard. However, it will have to be recorded, so it will be on public record, so everyone can see exactly when and at what age you decided to abandon Christ. If this law existed, Obama would have been born Christian (assuming he was really born in Hawaii, like he says) and would have to convert to Islam later in life. Real Islamic terrorists in the middle east probably wouldn't want to associate with a Christian man, so his Christianity would keep Obama away from these terrorists he pals around with."

Starting with IFB leader/example setter Jack Schaap, and on down to the rest of you deceived fleebags who wink and nod at the evil positions of Hussein O.

Will it be...
When he signs the Freedom of Choice Act (already thru congress, which of course George Bush wouldn't sign and Hussein O has said it's the first thing he'll do)

When he signs into law all rights of gay couples to adopt.

When he signs into law 5 billion for Planned Parenthood which Bush resisted and not without criticism from the left

When he removes the Clinton compromise position of Don't Ask Don't Tell in the military. That is, they can "come out" without repercussion. They can find and enjoy one another at long last, right in our armed forces.

When he signs the fairness doctrine, which will affect Schaap's radio station (under construction). Schaap will have to call in gays so as to, in fairness, give their side of sodomy. (based on his soft stance on it, he may see this as a good thing)

When hate speech includes preaching against abortion. and is criminalized

When he appoints dozens of liberal judges to lower courts

When he appoints a pro abortion/pro gay Supreme Court judge to replace Stevens

That's just a small start of a long list.

And the question remains....WHEN will it be that Schaap and many of you here with stary eyes for the mullato man, realize we have elected evil.

And when you do, will you deal with it at an altar? Will you man up to the public that you were deceived?

Multiple gods are only attributed to the things that they are. The Ancient Greeks and Romans had gods for just about anything natural, ideas, and man made. We all know that they could easily be disproved.

As for the Hindu gods, they fail to have a concept of science. They believe that a genetic mutation in both humans and animals are gods, while ignoring the fact that their medical state is pretty poor compared to the Western World. A lot of them never even heard of Christianity. As for the creation and destruction, everything must have an opposite. There is just no more explanation to that. Suppose that Shiva didn't exist if Hinduism is correct? There would be nothing but universal creation. No destruction of matter.

[In a debate concerning morality and moral absolutes, this fundie was told about the Etoro tribe of Papua New Guinea, who practise ritual homosexuality between boys and young men of the tribe. Her response?]

The people in that tribe have had their innate moral sense short-circuited by their history and lifestyle.

Not knowing how this practice arose, I can't say too much more.

They are living a primitive, animal-like lifestyle, and as Created human beings they can be better than that. Why should they not be educated and taught the right way to live? I'm upset with the politically correct people who say we ought to leave them in this destructive lifestyle just because.

What they're doing is objectively wrong, and they ought not do it.

*eviticus International promises to help miserable straights become ex straights. Brother Richard of Leviticus, says anyone can become a happy well-adjusted gay or lesbian through the power of prayer and Jesus Christ.*

Heterosexuality is the new sinful lifestyle???
Praying to Jesus to make you gay? Wow, that is definitely a new one. Many homosexuals used to pray to be straight!
Surely we must be near the Lord's return!
I am not sure how much more I can take of the Gay agenda. I might try to get a head start to see if I can meet the rapture half way.
I get so angry reading thees posts! It is frustrating watching your Lord and savior being trashed. I hurt for the people that are falling for lies, Satans and BO's. It seems so hopeless, and dark. I just need to focus on the light!! Yes the King of Kings and Lord of Lord's is coming!!! Hallelujah to the Lamb! I am so glad God is in control. I can't stand 10 minutes of all the heretical, self serving, world. Even so, Lord Your will be done. Give me strength, give me patience, renew me, set my heart ablaze. We can no longer be silent, You are uncontainable, Lord, give us the words to speak, and lead people to us because they want what we have, YOU.
I really, really, really don't want to be gay. I'd rather stay miserable and saved thank you very much.
That is just disgusting. Sometimes I wonder why we should even pray for people like that.

[Regarding Obama's plan to end the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.]

["How will this destroy the military?"]

Homosexuality destroys all that it invades whether the family, the state, or the church. This move is just one more step in an attempt to legitimize homosexual conduct under force of law and to make heterosexual people accept it. A society that does not openly understand and condemn homosexual conduct but, instead, gives aid and support to its advocates in an accomplice to the sinfulness of it. We will suffer because of it. If you've served in the military you will probably understand how this will adversely effect that institution. I don't think I can explain it appropriately in this forum.

(Though abstinence is the best prevention, it's still a good idea to take the HPV vaccine due to the chance of rape.)

Do the math on your scenario and I'm confident you'll find that risk to be less than the risk of being struck and killed by lightning.

(Actually, there's a a 0.6% chance of a woman being exposed to an STD through no fault of their own versus 0.016% of people being struck by lightning.)

Your data are from a one-sided source that combines rape with attempted rape, a misleading statistical trick (which is it, rape or not?). The same source claims that 3% of men are raped, which is absurd.
The vaccine protects against only a tiny percentage of STDs, and you haven't factored that in either. When you do an objective analysis, you'll see that the risk of being struck by lightning is higher, which is hardly a risk anyone incurs costs and risks adverse effects to avoid.

I walk and talk with Jesus every day (litterally, as I walk to work). I find nothing surprising about what he (Todd Bentley) said. Jesus has appeared to me before...more in a vision than like the many who say He walked right into their room.

Jesus does come into meetings all the time. I see Him dancing over our praise many times in services. I see him smiling and winking at me... Oh, the beauty of Jesus! I wish you guys had some kind of experience with Him, rather than just arguments.

(In comment section)

I personally think that Darwin arrived at his theory from observing stages of embryo development through various abortions on factory floors. He had to flee on the SS Beagle and keep his true research secret or face the English gallows. The real clash between evolution and the bible is the creation of Eve: from the rib of Adam. I can understand this as a dimorphic clone. Bone marrow cell syringed (why men have nipples) and cloned into an opposite sex (dimorphic) carbon copy. Dr. Michio Kaku (of string theory fame) says God and archangels are a Type 3 Civilization that is immortal. Mastery of science doesn't crush faith in Jesus. Doesn't it make sense that beings who have attained eternal life won't spend eternity in robes and sandals, but enjoy technologies beyond man's wildest dreams? And if they do visit earth, it also makes sense that atheists will not be eligible for immortality, especially if they deny that such advanced beings may have a King named Christ. Why risk being a fool before the masters of science and originators of life?

[Regarding homosexuals serving in the military.]

["If these patriots want to serve our country they should have our support.
I'm sure we would not approve of a lot of the bedroom behaviors of our heterosexual soldiers but they too deserve our love, support and prayers."]

Your mistake is to think that homosexuality is simply about bedroom behavior. And the homosexual agenda of being accepted into the military isn't about being a patriot. It is only about forcing the acceptance of their ungodly behavior on the country. There is nothing patriotic about homosexuality. As far as deserving our love, prayers and support two out of three are correct. They deserve our love and prayers as any lost person who is headed for hell does. They do not deserve our support. And such a suggestion is most likely against the posting rules of this board.

While I do think it's an absolutely wonderful thing that he is I am having a very hard time with this. I feel badly about it but I have to be honest. It's not a racial thing because if it was a conservative with whom I share moral views I would feel the joy. I am almost ashamed of myself but I firmly believe that Barack is Godless. I guess I'm sadder for my country than I am happy for blacks.

Quote# 56769

2009 is the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin’s The Origin of Species, so you can be sure the scientific community will bombard us this year with more “proof” of this sketchy theory. The mainstream media and academia insist that evolution is pure fact. Anyone who dares to challenge it is considered a religious idiot.

What people don’t realize is that Darwinism, besides being laughably lacking in scientific basis, has roots in spiritualism. Welsh naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace shared many of Darwin’s beliefs and encouraged him to publish his book. Wallace believed in spirit guides, participated in séances and was intrigued by all things paranormal. He promoted the “science” of evolution because it supported his anti-God views. Is it any wonder, then, that this doctrine he and Darwin propagated has been used to undermine Christianity ever since?

The world does not want to believe in a Creator because if He is real, then He has ultimate authority over His creation. On the flip side, man has no moral responsibility if he crawled out of a primordial soup, grew fins, then legs, and then became a talking ape. Evolution is not really about science at all—it is about rebellion against God’s rule over us.
