Quote# 56188

A couple of years ago, after I had been following the controversy for several years, I found myself listening to a long lecture by a Darwinist, replete with bafflegab and pretty lame examples. Finally, sensing (correctly) that I was unconvinced, he proclaimed to me, "You just don't understand how natural selection works, do you?"

And suddenly, the penny dropped. What he meant was that I just don't believe in magic. I can't make myself believe in magic; I haven't been able to since I was a child. And I was no longer going to give the matter any attention. What I really wanted to know then and now is - how magic became so important a principle in science? And I think I know of at least one reason.

Wow, how profound....and they think we live the fantasy.... No wonder Darwin was so tormented. He was definitely demon possessed and I believe that God was trying to reach him through all his maladies. One thing for sure, his fear was well founded. I wonder if he repented at his last breath?

Canada's notorious "Section 13" has resulted in persons being fined and harassed with "human rights complaints" before Orwellian "Humans Rights Tribunals" for so-called "crimes" such as "homophobia" and "islamophobia". These "tribunals" have a soviet union-like 100 percent conviction rate.

Quote# 56008

(Palin wants to penalize rape victims)

That is exactly what needs to be done, because most of the females who scream rape, are willing participates. There are men setting in prisions today, doing time for rape, because some female lied.
All anyone has to do is read, and they will learn that more often than not, the man is the victim, not the females.
By the way, if same-sex marriage becomes legal, then child molesters should not be punished, either.

How is unending torment in the best interest of a human being?

David Taylor:
This question implies that the alternative to unending torment, (Universalism or Annihilationism) is in the best interest of a human being over the concept of unending torment.

Quote# 56489

We are in trouble America! In an interview with CNN's Suzanne Malveaux, conservative Pat Robertson said he was "remarkably pleased" with President-elect Barack Obama. Sadly, millions of followers of Robertson's The 700 Club are likely to support an immoral, abortionist, gay-friendly, anti-American Communist U.S. President. This is just another clear indicator that Pat Robertson is of the Devil, a false prophet masquerading as a preacher of the Gospel. Robertson has publicly approved of Communist Barack Obama and the Socialist government Obama has vowed to set-up...

I can assured tell you that Pat Robertson's god is NOT the God of the Bible, because Socialism and Communism are diametrically opposed to the Word of God. The Bible teaches Capitalism

Quote# 55919

Why did 18-to-29-year-old evangelicals vote for Barack Obama despite his apostasy on the fundamental moral issues of abortion and same-sex unions? They voted 32 percent for Obama, twice the percentage of that demographic group who voted for John Kerry in 2004.

Many of these young people identify "social justice" as the reason that led them to relegate the prime moral issues of life and marriage to the back burner. But the term "social justice" does not define a moral cause; it is leftwing jargon to overturn those who have economic and political power.

What caused young evangelicals, the children of the so-called "religious right," to change their moral imperatives so dramatically? Most likely it's the attitudes and decision-making they learned in the public schools, which 89 percent of U.S. students attend.

Quote# 55669

most scientists who buy into evolution are atheistic in there approach. Since most of these are atheistic there is a direct link between what you call religions. I wont debate that they can be construed as religions because the adherents to these as well as evolution in my mind worship man above all else. i.e. communism =no God, humanism=no God, fascism= a distorted corrupt view of God. Abortion its your own body not God's do what you wish! Evolution = "hey you come along way baby" from some primordial soup there's no God!

Now i mean no disrespect here, but to disreguard the scientific evidence that has come to light is intellectually dishonest. As in a court case there is absolutely a perponderance of scientific evidence to support a young earth. As a matter of fact there is much more than there is for an old earth!

Lots of old earth scientists have finally concluded that there is just not enough evidence to support their theories. I can give you multiple quotes!

One last point from a historical perspective the concept of an old earth was the creation of evolutionists. Up until the theory of evolution the earth was considered young. Point the evolutionists are wrong about evolution and an old earth theory is hard to substantiate.

Quote# 55641

FUNDIE: Atheists have consistently been more bigoted and full of hatred than people from any religion..and certainly more fantatical. At least that is what I have found in my experience. They cannot disagree peacefully.

ATHEIST: Yes because we all know it's the atheists that are doing suicide bombings, burning witch children in Africa and burying thirteen year old rape victims in the sand to stone them to death all in the name of nothingness! Yup, you got us.

FUNDIE: The problem is, there are a lot more religious people than non-religious people, so to throw the all in one category is unfair. There will naturally be more violence from religious people for that reason alone. You don't see evangelicals killing people or Mormons killing people. Only Islamic fundamentalists..

I totally agree. It is time to stop the politically correct lame-brainism, especially when it comes to attacking Christians.

I want to see those atheist brown shirts and atheist gestapo tell Muslims allah does not exist. The outcome will be vastly different and not resemble that of Christians.

We don't see the same reaction from atheists when it comes to muslins. Atheists should go play in that traffic for a while & see what happens. One would need a spatula and butterknife to scrape the remains any atheist off the ground due to a false religion.

Since atheists believe in evolution, why is the Jonah in the whale not plausible?

how are atheists sure there were no fish large enough for a man to be inside a whale without harm coming to him...is it possible for a fish like that to exist then become extinct in the grand scheme of evolution...evolution has no purpose or mind...why couldn't a large fish exist that would be able to carry a man in his stomach...or in another sack within the belly of a whale without harm...would atheists say its not evolutionarily possible and then turn around and say evolution has no purpose...besides don't atheists just say all miracles are "coincidence"...is it not coincidently possible or plausible for a different type of large fish live in the time of Noah that swallowed him and spit in on shore of his destination...if you want to say there is no evidence of a fish like that...i thought all fossils are proof of evolution...thats why we don't have transitional fossils for man...just pieces of bones while having full skeletons for dinosaurs...or does the atheists mind stop being open when it comes to religion and possibilities...showing the true closed mindedness of atheists...

[Darwin an atheist?]

I don't think he was an atheist, I think he was mad at God for "letting" his wife die, or maybe even started doubting God's existence, which lead to the book ["the origin of species"]. The book by the way has been discounted by much of modern science.

The concept of evolution goes directly against the 2 law of thermodynamics and that is simply this in a nut shell: every thing declines. Evolution says that from chaos comes order life does not work this way. Consider: you go and buy a brand new ford park it under a tree and never drive it again. what happens? Does it evolve into a new mercedes? no, it falls apart! The second law of thermodynamics!

Remember what God said after he completed creation, "It was good!"

Quote# 55774

The homosexuals and lesbians have gained considerable political and social momentum in America. They have "come out" as the term goes, left their closets, and are knocking on the doors of your homes. Through TV, Radio, Newspapers, and Magazines, they are preaching their doctrine of tolerance, equality, justice, and love. They do not want to be perceived as abnormal or dangerous. They want acceptance and they want you to welcome them with open, loving arms, approving of what they do.

In numerous states in America several bills have been introduced by the pro homosexual politicians to ensure that the practice of homosexuality is a right protected by law. Included in these bills are statements affecting employers, renters, and schools. Even churches would be required to hire a quota of homosexuals with "sensitivity" training courses to be "strongly urged" in various work places. There is even legislation that would make the state pick up the tab for the defense of homosexuality in lawsuits, while requiring the non homosexual side to pay out of his/her pocket.

The Christian church has not stood idle. When it has spoken out against this political immorality, the cry of "separation of church and state" is shouted at the "religious bigots." But when the homosexual community uses political power to control the church, no such cry of bigotry is heard. Political correctness says it is okay for the homosexual community to impose its will upon churches, but not the other way around. Apparently, it isn't politically correct to side with Christians. (...)

Finally, with their hardened hearts, they seek to promote their lifestyle in society. This is become more real since homosexuals are gaining strength and forcing those with opposing views into confinement and penalty. So much for fairness. It is okay to demand it for themselves, but they balk at allowing it for those who disagree.

Quote# 55781

If same-sex marriage ever becomes accepted as law, it will give schools license to teach our children sexual perversion. America's children will become even more brainwashed within the public school system. The indoctrination of our children will be presented to the parents as learning the skills to become tolerant of others whose families are different from their own. As the manipulation progresses, little Jeannie and Bobby will be led to believe it's perfectly fine to grow up and have the choice of falling in love with their own sex and become married to one another.

Will parents be given a chance to weigh in and have a say on what will be taught within the classroom setting? The answer is no. Is this what you want your children to be taught? Well, you'd best prepare yourselves for a Battle Royal.

Allow me to call this what it really is: It's a form of child abuse. Attempting to alter a child's sexual identity is beyond despicable and reprehensible. The indoctrination will begin when your children enter the public school system. It will continue as they approach the age of puberty and all the way into college. Those who have already fallen into the trap of homosexuality will face a lifetime of trying to remain physically and mentally healthy.

A warning to those who harm children: "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin." (Luke 17:2)
