Quote# 57868

Evolutionists, do you perceive all human beings as equals?
I’m sure you’ve heard people say that we are all created equal. But of course, you don’t like the idea of being created.

But anyways, are human beings all equals? I suppose most of you accept Social Darwinism, but doesn’t that create problems? When you think about it, the idea of evolution devalues human life. We have no real purpose, we’re just accidents. So now it’s survival of the fittest. When you think about it, these are the ideas behind terrible things like Nazism. The Nazis perceived disabled people as being worthless drains on society, so they killed them under agonizing conditions. Evolution also supports sterilization, when the government sterilized people because they were not considered worthy of reproducing. Evolution also makes abortion okay, and abortion is victimizing the weakest members of society.

My brother is autistic. I have a great deal of compassion for helpless or disabled people, and I believe that we are all equals. Do you see how the idea of evolution devalues human life? I am NOT an accident, and neither is my brother or anyone else considered to be inferior. We should all be treated like valuable human beings, even the helpless children in the womb, but society with the help of evolution has been teaching us that we’re really just meaningless creatures that can be easily removed.

it's probably an epigenetic disease just like homosexuality.....it will probably become more and more widespread as more and more people continue to eat junk/fried/fatty/milk-laden/high-carb/sweet foods in place of fruits and vegetables. There is no "gay gene" or "pedophilia gene."Homosexuality and pedophilia are surely both mental diseases stemming from prior generations, but they are actually derived from the effects of bad/unhealthy diets on developing embryos. Also involved, most surely, is prior abuse -- abused children are more likely to abuse their children or others'. Screwed-up children generally lead to screwed up adults unless there is some powerful supernatural intervention.

Many (if not most) unbelievers have very little knowledge of the Bible. It's quite amazing that when you start pressing them you find their beliefs (or lack thereof) are based not on knowledge, but on complete ignorance.

As far as I can see, the reason that virginity pledges do not work is because pre-marital sex is no longer taboo. Sex is being glorified, when it should be shunned. Teenagers need to be taught that sex for any purpose other than procreation is an evil act. This way, they will avoid sex for fear of going to hell.
Besides that, condoms don't work.

One word represents the last century of science: LIES.

And what's hilarious about all this is the evos on this forum are still pushing the ridiculous, unseen, never-verified or validated biological mechanism that would be represented in the fossil data and confirm Darwin's tree. In otherwords, they're pushing a mechanism that the fossil record does not reflect! It's hilarious...these people are delusional.

Job 38:35: Can you send forth lightnings, that they may go and say to you, 'Here we are'?

If the Bible was written by people with not much knowledge about the world, how could they know that you can send messages with electricity?

Job 38:24: By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

If the Bible was written by people with not much knowledge about the world, how could they know that the sun causes the wind on earth?

Quote# 57124

i made this post awhile ago on another board, when i saw this thread i just had to share it:

People are burnt out on hearing "Jesus is coming soon", because they've heard it for decades, despite the contrary. That being said, it only further perpetuates the truth by making men's hearts cold and and hard against God. That being said they refuse to acknowledge a few historic truths:

The Dome of the Rock is in serious disrepair on the temple mount, and has been in iminent danger of collapse for the past few years. Jordanian engineers have been working on it since '05.

Two red heifers have been born in Israel within the past 10 years. (Maybe three?) Both have had blemishes and thus been disqualified, but prior to their appearance, none have been born in Israel for over 2000 years.

The Holy Half-shekel has been around since 1993/4, mentioned in the book of numbers.

Two cornerstones for the third temple have already been made, according to biblical standards, and have been brought to the temple mount every year for quite awhile now, led by the group Temple Mount Faithful.

The Sanhedrin, the group that convicted Christ, was re instituted '06.

Isaiah 17 is more real now than ever, and syria knows this apparently, seeing as how they have moved all their important documents out of their own capitol.

The unimportance of the US on the worldstage is steadily climbing, and will probably end fairly soon, as the oil markets move from the dollar, to the Euro, or some other currency. (China, Russia, Venezula, and Iran are already doing this actively) Thus, making Israel's dependance on the anti-christ much more probable and necessary.

Oh, then of course there's that whole 2012 thing, which some believe may be the 6th seal in the book of revelation.

And then of course you have the 12 Imam around the corner, with iran wanting war to break out in the Middle-East so he can show up. The Al-Mahdi seems to fit the persona of the anti-christ quite nicely.

So, with all this in mind, how can this NOT be the last of the last days?

Quote# 57378

Self-styled cleric Samir Abu Hamza, who runs the Islamic Information and Services Network of Australasia in Melbourne, advised a male audience in Sydney in 2003 that they could force their wives to have sex and beat them if they were "disobedient".

In a lecture titled "The Keys to a Successful Marriage", which has since been posted on the internet and viewed thousands of times, Mr Hamza said men could beat their wives, "to shape them up", but should try not to draw blood or bruise them.

He also said women "must respond" if their husbands wanted to have sex, and ridiculed laws that prohibit rape within marriage.

"In this country if the husband wants to sleep with his wife and she does not want to and she hasn't got a sickness or whatever, there is nothing wrong with her she just does not feel like it, and he ends up sleeping with her by force ... it is known to be as rape," Mr Hamza said.

"Amazing, how can a person rape his wife?"

[Regarding public education]

And look at the result of the last election, where a radical pro-abortion extremist and infanticide supporter was elected President, carrying many young "evangelicals". Why should we be surprised, when so many of them have been indoctrinated for 12 years in the government schools by teachers in the pro-Democrat, pro-abortio NEA? If you send your kids to Caesar, then don't be surprised if they come back as Romans.

Sin is like a cancer to the soul. Yes we love the sinner, but their sin is evil and wicked and leads them to eternity of hell. Even one act and that person has Soul Cancer. Yes we are all sinners, but our sins are forgiven.
Murder, stealing, rape... all these are sins that hurt someone. The act of s o domy hurts the giver and reciever as it gives them Cancer literaraly and spiritually.

Quote# 57428

*Obama restates his commitment to abortion rights*

Getting a world-class education ranks higher than being responsible for a human life? This article should have been titled "An education to kill for" Daughters to have same rights as the sons? What about the rights of the unborn daughters and sons?
---
Obama just wants to help women continue to murder innocent babies in the womb at the altar of convenience above all else. That is all.
---
We lost our chance to keep this abortion machine from getting elected. Now all we can do is pray that as few lives as possible will be lost because of it! It's the ultimate in male chauvinism to talk about killing babies in the name of some lie about girls deserving an education. Women talk about having it all by juggling work and family, not about getting rid of babies to have jobs or college degrees. It's absurd to say that a baby will keep a woman from an education in this day and age. Education is not the real issue, this is government trying to curtail reproduction.
This is about the state telling women to destroy babies as THE state sees fit, just as they do in China. The great irony is that they destroy more female babies! Women have a choice now, it's called birth control. Modern birth control is extremely effective! Most studies find that women currently of child bearing age are very satisfied with their birth control options, and don't consider abortion a big issue. It's the state that wants to push abortions, even without parental consent for minors!
---
Oh yeah right Mr. ObamaOne...lets go kill those babies so they won't mess up their mother's education. It is her fault she got pregnant to begin with (unless it was rape), and she should suffer the consequences...postpone school and have the baby! If she doesn't want her baby, there are many people that do!
What a really stupid statement he made. You know where his priorities are. He could care less about those precious little lives. That is sooooo Christian of him.
---
How can this be? So many Christian Obama supporters swore on their mother's graves that Obama was pro-life??

Quote# 57443

I'm not opposed to research or the search for knowledge or the practical use of science in the form of technology. I do not reject the scientific method as a means to study the physical world. I do not reject teaching science and the scientific method in school.
What I do reject is the abuse and misuse of science as a tool to promote leftist and agenda and establish political policy. I reject the misuse of it to justify government control of education. I reject the misuse of science as a weapon with which to bash and discredit religious beliefs and to make the Bible out to be a lie.

My decision to not accept the interpretation of the forensic and circumstantial evidence found in the fossil record that are used to support the ToE does not mean that I am anti-science. All it means is that I do not accept the interpretation of the fossil record because I think that their interpretation is wrong and that there are other better ones.

By your own definitions, the best scientists can do is say that the evidence supports their theory. That's not good enough. That's not a better reason to accept the ToE rather than to accept Scripture. On the contrary, believing the God who doesn't lie makes much more sense than believing the uncertain, indeterminate conclusions of men.

Calling me anti-science is a lie, plain and simple. It is not true and will never be no matter how often you repeat it and how much you wish it were so.

Quote# 57612

My son is really starting to think for himself, which is good. But one of the things that I have a hard time addressing is when he says things like "The Jonas Brothers are Christians" because they say they are. I realize it's not for us to determine where people's hearts are, but when they sing secular, ungodly songs and tour with bands I would NEVER listen to, I have a hard time accepting it. Heck, even Oprah would tell you she's a Christian!!

He also told me that Barack Obama said he's a Christian, and I gave him the evidence of why I don't believe it, but he said "you're not perfect, and you're not God, so who are you to say who's a Christian and who's not?"

How should I answer him?

In answer to your question, NO, this most certainly did NOT occur, either with Clinton or any other President in my memory!!!!! John Kennedy was very well-loved...Reagan was real popular, but this Obama-worship is in another category altogether!

I am an "old-timer" of 62 years old and I have never seen anything remotely like this scary, blind adulation of Obama!!!! Not even close!

Reminds me of Hitler...the masses of people were ECSTATIC...women were said to fall down at his feet and kiss his boots (I am NOT making that up -- read his biography!!!).

This is SO SCARY, folks!
