Quote# 67450

The more time I spend wandering the Internet, the sadder I get.

There are sites all over which openly promote atheism. PZ Myers has his "pharyngula" blog. There are websites for American Atheists, Council for Secular Humanism, The Friendly Atheist blog, etc.

I find it disheartening that people are going online and learning Darwinists' arguments to reject God instead of reading about the Bible, but at least the people seeking out those sites know what they're getting. They've already chosen to reject God.

There are also some sites where people pretend to be Christian in order to mock God and turn people from Salvation. A homosexual crossdresser makes the "Betty Bowers, America's Best Christian" site. A so-called "comedian" created the "Landover Baptist Church" website; while it's over the top and a pretty obvious gag, there's also a discussion forum (at .net instead of .org) where atheists pretend to be pastors and flat-out lie about what the Bible says to make people hate God. And there's "Real Bible Stories", which appends commentary to Bible stories to make children think God is evil and "unfair" for being holy.

I'm sure members here have run across other sites like these, probably even worse?

Is there anything we can do about them? I realize that persecution comes with being Christian, but this isn't just persecution. It's a concerted effort to promote Satan's religion, atheism, behind our backs!

I'm looking for software so I can block them on my home computer; my niece uses it sometimes and I don't want her finding them by accident. I can also convince my sister (her mother) that these are hate sites that she should also block. Is there already a Christian net filter available that blocks things like this?

I don't know what else to do to slow these people down.

Obviously I can witness to my niece, I mean in general, to help those who don't know about these wolves in sheep's clothing. It's not like we can force their ISPs to put big disclaimers on the sites.

Quote# 67448

I heard about your book burning on the local news this morning and paid a visit to your website. Just wanted to say how refreshing it is to see a site like this one, I love it! I wish we this kind of church in Raleigh. In fact, I with that every town in America had a church like this one! I may burn some books myself on Halloween. I can't use them, and I would never sell or donate them because of the danger they pose. Thanks for giving me a great idea on how to dispose of them properly :-) These certainly are the end times so I guess it's to be expected. I pray you will not become discouraged and that publicity from the book burning will reach the (few) who have ears to hear.

God bless you!

Quote# 67444

Is There Definitive 100% Set In Stone Proof Of God? No, And That Is The Proof
I have just realized that we theists are looking at this all wrong.

There is no such thing as "Proof of God" where one can use an example and say, "That Proves God!"

The proof for God lies in the fact there is no proof of God. Atheists always like to ask theists, "Where's the evidence for God?" (As if the atheists are pretending like a theist out there will challenge them with something new that hasn't ever been thought of over the past thousands of years and say "Wow, you're right! God exists!".)

We have been going about it all wrong. God never gives out proof of his existence. But, since God DOES NOT give out "stone cold proof" this is PROOF of God because the FACT that God doesn't provide evidence is EXACTLY what we would expect from a God that does not provide evidence!

Atheists asking, "Where is the proof/evidence of God?" have got it completely backwards. There isn't supposed to be any evidence for God because God doesn't provide any evidence. And if God exists out there, and chooses not to provide evidence for his existence, then guess what atheists?

Having no proof of God's existence is proof of God's existence.

I hope I just boggled all of your minds with a brand new argument never before heard over the past thousands of years.

Ask yourself this simple question, "If the Christian God is real, and He isn't willing to provide us with evidence, what would we expect to see?"

The answer is, "Exactly what we see right now."

Quote# 67440

Why are there genetic abnormalities? It is not God's fault. God created us with a perfect gene pool. It is the sin of men that lead over time to mutate genes so that we now have many congenital conditions.

If Adam and Eve had not chosen to sin, we would still have a perfect gene pool. Sin, for example, causes diseases. Some of those diseases cause chromosomal changes, which leads to a contaminated gene pool.

St. Paul said it, Romans 1:26-27 "For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error."

Disease is the natural result of homosexual sin, but also to all sin.

Quote# 67439

I do not like gay people. If I know someone id gay I avoid them and if I dislike them for other reasons I'll bash them. I think it is disgusting and immoral and whether you like it or not you will always be hated. Straight people hate gays because their strange and mentally ill. To not find the opposite sex attractive is messed up and goes against human nature. Gay marriage is also wrong and the Constitution should band gay marriage and not allow gay couples to adopt children. Everything about being gay is wrong and in itself a sin. Have fun in hell fags.

We are so nice in this country now.
SOooooo open minded and inclusive and enlightened.
Just look how wonderful everything is now after years of social experiments and
multiculturalism.

But i think as a nation we need to go a step beyond and show the world how open minded we are by electing a Homosexual ,transvestite ,murderer, rapist black/Mexican Muslim Lesbian Woman with Aids and syphilis and 8 children all by different fathers as our next president.
and the prospective candidate should look like this
we have to get away from stereo typical clean cut looking people.
That is not being fair.
O and she should weigh around 400lb's.

Hmm.
I wonder if that diverse enough?
maybe she should be a non citizen to.
o wait we already have that now.

Quote# 67405

Each time an objection was made to the theory of evolution on scientific grounds a modification was introduced. Normally, any standard scientific theory would have been abandoned after two or three legitimate objections had been raised. This was not, however, the case with evolution. The continuing series of ‘ad hoc’ modifications made since the theory was launched in 1859 to this day distinguishes it from any theory claiming to be scientific.

Quote# 67385

I called forth the next spirit inside of Jeff.

"I demand the next spirit to come to attention, in the name of Jesus.'

"I'm here."

"What's your name, spirit?"

"I'm Chains and Karma and we are heading towards you, to attack you."

I immediately told the spirit that he would cease from coming near me, due to the fact that I was covered with the blood of Jesus. The demon was stopped from attacking me. I wanted to know the spiritual right the vile spirit had to Jeff.

"Why are you there?"

"Jeff had sexual contact with a cat."

This perverse demon had been tormenting Jeff for years because of the sin of bestiality that he participated in. My wife and I have dealt with many afflicted individuals who got demons through the sin of bestiality.

Jeff received this mercy and truth. I had the high honor of driving the many demons inside of him out. Not only did God deliver him from the many evil spirits tormenting him but God also healed him of the colon and skin cancer, moles, and sinus problems.

Quote# 67381

You ask..
Would Jesus send you to hell for not accepting him?
The answer is no.
You send yourself to hell by not accepting him.Now let me explain. Each and every person is born into sin. This has been so since the fall of man in the garden of Eden. The wages of sin is death. This was not the original plan of God for man to die.
God sends his prophets to guide the people in days of old. They were given God's law to abide by.However sin prevailed and the people of old died in their sins.

I feel that he is because everything that is in the Bible is coming much more quicker then before. We as Christians are being ridiculed and pushed aside. The Bible is coming to pass even faster now that the big O took office. I pray that My GOD will show the big O the true way but we are so close to the end that maybe not...

Stated another way, conservatism is freedom from liberal bias. A conservative Bible is one that is 100% free of liberal bias. Not 50% liberal bias, not 10% liberal bias. 0% liberal bias.

Quote# 67453

[Following a list of Nobel Peace Prize recipients, including Albert Einstein.]

So if Hitler would have had his way, none of these people could have contributed to science in this manner. So now this is repeating itself through a religious bigotry to stop Christians from being in science today (just like Hitler trying to separate race). So I say: Let's remove all the contributions both Christians and the Jews have made. And lets see if science can stand without us, and our findings. Don't think that would be much? NASA, and everything they do today would not exist. In fact we would still be in the dark ages as far as science is concerned. And we would more than likely be a third world nation under the control of a dictatorship.

Quote# 67468

If you made something, for example a chair, would you allow the chair to question you why you created it, and why you sit on it, coz it tells you he doesnt enjoy being sat on.
The chair is like you, the maker is God.
If the chair you made cant be used, what will you do with it? You throw it right. or burn it, to at least give heat. so be thankful God doesnt throw you yet, because He loves His' creations and gives them time to realise their purpose, which is to love and serve Him.

[Regarding gay marriage]

i hope they are not allowed to marry ..it is horrible that this perversion is being made out to be normal...it is not. Jesus did not think so and the russians will kill you over it. i do not believe normal people accept it. I know in Afganastan the militants capture and rape little boys...how horrible. I love children and cannot say that gay marriage is an acceptable way of life.

[Re. the Supreme Court case over the 5-foot cross in the Mojave National Preserve in California.]

a fool in paradise: Because the no-god God is the official state religion. You can follow another faith, but the official position of the government is that god does NOT exist.

kjo: Jesus said there would come a time when the Word would be hidden...people too ashamed of their own actions to confront the Truth of the cross. Go ahead...cover it, or tear it down. Soon the government will be coming after Christians. There are already courts in Canada when people of religious beliefs are confronted by government bureaucrats and forced to recant their public religious views...or face fines or imprisonment. It is just a matter of a few years...it will be so here too

FlingWingFlyer: This is the aCLU displaying its hatred of Christians and God. It is the Mother of all Hate Crimes. These piggies were offered a piece of land five times bigger in size for this one little piece of land. That wasn’t good enough for the Christian haters. They want God and all Christians gone. They are not compatible with the aCLU’s perverted, communist lifestyle.

Quote# 67376

Ok I see a lot of no's here. Guess what I meant was IS GOD USING OBAMA TO SPEED THINGS UP. I should not have said whether Obama knows he is or not. I feel satan is using this man as POTUS to makes things move faster.

1. Throws Israel under the bus
2. Sides more with the Muslims than his own country
3. Believes in one world Government
4. Destroying the currency of the Dollar to go to one world currency
5. Believes in a one world Religion
6. Giving homosexuals more rights
7. Believes in abortion even if it's after birth
8. Believes this global warming hoax
9. Passing the hate crime so Christians are thrown in jail for this, not agreeing with this lifestyle.

I am sure many can add to this, but the reason for the poll was that GOD is using him to speed things up. I believe we are in the end times. Heck things that would have been tin foil are no longer strange anymore.

Quote# 67318

Thie weekend, my niece got married to a fine young Jewish guy (nothing wrong in that). The 'Officiating pastor' was non-denominational and during the service, there was NOT ONE MENTION OF GOD. Not even a hint of reference of any kind to the same. Not even during the exchange of vows, or rings. God was 'kicked-out' of the very institution of marriage that He established. This verse in Matt. kept running over & over in my mind. I even asked my young teenage daughters before the Reception this Q: "Who was missing during the ceremony?" They both told me that they said to each other during the ceremony, the God was not mentioned, or even eluded to.

During the Reception, the first song was a Jewish song in which they all formed several layered circles and danced around. And then they put the bride and groom on chairs and raised them up and down over their heads for a few minutes as the music played. Then they did both sets of parents. I know this is probably a Jewish custom, or ritual; but the feeling that I got is that I was smack-dab in Ceci B Demil's Ten Commandments, when they were making the golden calf and all the dancing and partying going on.
I thought to myself that if the rapture shofar was sounded right then & there, I would never have heard it for all the noise and 'partying'.

I do wish my niece and her new husband the best, but the elimination of God (and His blessing on this marriage) really did sadden me.
