If you think the 'tools' on the college campuses are worthless, try NASA.

NASA is full of 'tools' that can't even cut it in the academic profession on being in a third rate college.

They, civil servant scientest, are on the full social welfare program once they make it to 'gravy land' by becoming a civil servant. Their union won't allow Congress to fire them, for any cause. It is insane. The peer reviews are a circle jerk of group think.

Global warming bandwagon grab bag of popular grants and funding is the way to go for this bunch of intellectual clowns.

Acually scientists have tried to disprove of God. Piltdown man was the first attempt. That was a fossil hoax said to have been done by Darwin himself. They have done many hoaxes to get the public to believe in evolution rarther than God. And there is evidence that humans lived with dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are not millions of years old. The? bible refers to them as the wild beasts.

My question is this: Even though radiometric dating has the Earth listed as approximately 4.5 billion years old, this method of testing is used to test the age of the materials that the Earth is comprised of. Dirt, rocks and strata. Correct?

If God created the Earth, why wouldn't He use raw materials at His disposal? The materials themselves do not determine the age of our Earth. It cannot pinpoint that moment in time when these materials came together, only the age of the materials that are present.

Am I off-base here?

Quote# 65070

Well let's see, here's what I know that atheists don't:

1) That God created the universe and all living things
2) that God created the earth out of water and why He created it out of water
3) How long it took God to create the earth and why it took Him that amount of time
4) What sin is
5) Why we need a redeemer
6) Who our ancestors are
7) Knowledge of Jewish history
8) what happens after we die
9) Who goes to heaven and why
10) Who goes to hell and why
11) Who Jesus is
12) Why Jesus walked on earth
13) That all humans sin
14) What right and wrong is
15) The difference between good and evil
16) Why animals (especially imaginary animals) can't turn into people or breed human descendants
17) Why the 10 Commandments are the best way to live
18) What the old covenant and new covenant are
19) Why Christianity is waning in the world
20) Why the Arabs and Jews will always fight each other
21) Why atheists can't believe the bible
22) Why scientists aren't trustworthy

That's just the tip of the iceberg of what I know that atheists don't know. So when you find something I don't know, I'm sure that makes you happy.

KHARTOUM - A Sudanese journalist is preparing to be flogged 40 times in Khartoum on Wednesday for wearing "indecent" clothes, with 10 women already whipped for similar offences against Islamic law.

Lubna Ahmed al-Hussein, who writes for the left-wing Al-Sahafa newspaper and works for the media department of the United Nations Mission in Sudan, was arrested in Khartoum earlier this month after being caught wearing pants.

"I received a telephone call from the authorities saying I must appear at 10 am (0700 GMT) on Wednesday in front of the judge," Hussein told AFP on Tuesday.

"It is important that people know what is happening," Hussein said in an invitation to journalists to attend her court appearance and flogging.

"They will lash me 40 times, and also fine me 250 Sudanese pounds (100 dollars)."

Hussein said she was at a restaurant on July 3 when police came in and ordered 13 women wearing pants to follow them to the police station.

(Emphasis mine)

Though I agree that they have freedom of speech and equal access, the Quakers message of peace is a bit skewed according to Scripture. You don't gain peace by laying down your sword. You gain peace by using your sword until there are no more enemies in front of you. Having said that, understand also that war is a last resort when all other diplomatic, peaceful solutions have failed.

Quote# 65029

If the Family men who stood over John Ensign as he wrote a baldly insincere breakup letter to his mistress were naive about hearts that want what they want, they don't claim ignorance about the strongmen with whom they build bonds of prayer and foreign aid. They admire them. Counseling Rep. Tiahrt, Doug Coe offered Pol Pot and Osama bin Laden as men whose commitment to their causes is to be emulated. Preaching on the meaning of Christ's words, he says, "You know Jesus said 'You got to put Him before mother-father-brother sister? Hitler, Lenin, Mao, that's what they taught the kids. Mao even had the kids killing their own mother and father. But it wasn't murder. It was for building the new nation. The new kingdom."

Quote# 65028

The Adapa Epic, Hindu Vedas, Epic of Gilgamesh, Mesopotamian and Babylonian steles, and Egyptian hyroglyphs are mythologized literature. Genesis is not. There is a? great difference. For example, Gilgamesh traveled to the underworld inside the earth in a boat seeking the secret of imortality. This is clearly mythology, as we know it is unsound in the real world. The Bible is not a a collection of this type of unsound events. The Bible is the true history, the others are distortions.

Quote# 65026

Faith in evolution requires belief. The theories suggest that evolution happens depend on whether people believe in it or not, therefore belief is material to evolution. Scientific principles are subject to modification as new fads dictate what is fashionable in order to support such changes, depending on one’s original belief. I fear you have conflated what is currently in vogue in support of a process with the argument from the scientific Sanhedrin. That happens with followers now and then. [Emphasis added]

*they asked if they should allow their lesbian niece over*

he is against having Sarah come to our house for the birthday party afterwards because we have two young impressionable sons. Last week when she was here, she helped my 7 year old pick out an outfit for school the next day. He came to me and commented about how sexy he was. He had never used that expression b4 and I know that he got it from his sister. However, my husband agreed that we should pray and seek help at rapture ready since you guys are all christians as well. I love that I have a whole network of support and you guys mean so much to me.

My boys (7&10) look up to her and imitate her. I don't want to bring her girlfriend to the bday party afterwards because I have taught my boys that when men have boyfriends and women have girlfriends, God does not approve. I don't want them to get the impression that their dad and I approve either. Sighhhhh

Quote# 65116

Science cannot get around the fact that the universe needs a beginning. But something had to get it started. But they come up with all kinds of reasons and hypotheses to reason God out. But all fail. Some, like Steven Hawking even lie in their theories. But the truth always bears out. And one day science will have to recant most of their notions.

Quote# 65107

Humanzee. What is it? Is it a chimpanzee? A human? Perhaps it is a hybrid of the two. Well, according to many evolutionary proponents, the humanzee is more than just a creature. This hypothetical mixture of human and chimpanzee genes is a great hope to validate their ideological premise that humans and chimpanzees share a common ancestor, in defiance of God's Holy Word, which holds a contrary position—that humans were created in the image of God, and given dominion over animals like the chimpanzee. To evolutionists, finding some way to prove that this is a possibility—that humans and apes can interbreed—is the pathway to legitimacy. However, history is littered with their failed attempts to prove such ridiculous claims.

[about the IMDB ratings about Expelled)

Because of the apparent blackballing of the film by people who had never seen it, it is difficult to tell what actual viewers of the film thought. Removing the almost obligatory '1' ratings under the above assumption 1600 voters on the IMDB website gave it a 8.5 rating on a scale from 1 to 10.

Quote# 65069

Sorry but I've got scripture to back me up on all counts.

1 Corinthians 2:14
John 1:1-2
2 Timothy 3:16
John 10:28
John 3:16-18
Matthew 23

And the fact that you haven't backed up your claim that men and women have the same number of ribs. So since i agree with God on all counts and you disagree with God on ALL counts, then you don't have a leg to stand on. Romans 8:31, "When God is for us, who can be against us?" No one because no one has power over us except God. You've got nothing, not even a knowledge of Jewish history. So you're the one to be pitied. Sorry. :(

Quote# 65034

Here is my problem:

I have a fairly new job. I thought it would be great; but now not so certain.

My current manager is a nice person and if I "worked" directly for him it would be fine. However, the structure at work is different. I have to work directly for a woman. Well, I will be blunt. This woman is a "man"; if you know what I mean. She is trying to be a man in every respect. I can handle different life styles; but She is a control freak, and tries to act sooo much like a man that she is overbearing and needs to "chill out". As a Christian, I have difficulty working so close in this type of situation. I have been in the work place for 30+ years and have never been in this type of situation before. How should I handle it. Should I start looking for another job. I would talk with my direct manager about the difficulties I am experiencing but not sure of the relationships yet and so forth as I am fairly new to this place of work.

What directions can any Christian out there give to me??? Help. Anything would be much appreciated.

Quote# 65011

As things pp nito my mind and seem like they're relevant, I feel urged to share them. One thing has become clear to me. I always heard about how Christian persecution would become more and more widespread during the last days. But I never really saw it starting to happen. I know we hear of it here and there these days, but it's not all over the place like we have heard it would be. But...consider this: My son showed me something the other day on youtube. I am at work righ tnow and youtube is a blocked site so I can't give the link. ANd I can't remember exactly what he typed in the searchbar, but it was like "demographics problem" or something like that. It defintely had the word "demographics" in it. Anyway, it was a little video saying that for any race or culture to sustain existance, each family must reproduce at a certain rate or eventually face extinction. It showed that the Christian "culture" wasn't producing enough for us to last. But also that the Muslim culture was prodicing more than enough. So much so that by, and I forget the year but I think it was like 2025, the Muslims would be the large majority all ove the world!!! Now you can see how it would indeed fit right into what the Bible says about widespread Christian persecution. It was very scary and eye opening!

Quote# 64945

It becomes extremely dangerous when materialistic men are set in positions of power to dictate that which the masses will believe in regard to human morality. Hardened evolutionists are determined not to merely let men choose for themselves the type of morality they will follow. Evolution is foisted upon people, from kindergarten to the grave. Evolutionist zealots are dedicated to wiping out every religion but their own. Atheism and only atheism is their creed and their objective. Darwinism inherently teaches the most vicious set of moral principles. Declaring that man is but an animal, instruction is then given that the most successful animals are those that are the first to attack and destroy. The collected views men are taught determine their system of morals and their way of life.

Quote# 65072

Sorry, but all you have to do is look at the latest "missing link" which looks more like a lizard than a human being. If that were found before the Darwin Delusion, there is no possible way to claim it was in any way, human, much less a missing link between humans and...of course they don't know what's on the other side of the chain since Darwin didn't describe his main characters (the common ancestor). So they can't know what any links in the middle of the chain are supposed to look like. They can thus find any animal and make up any story they want about it that can't be verified by anyone in history. That's the definition of a fairy tale.

But it's funny how easy it is for so many people to believe anything scientists say. Agaon, that's how myths become popular.

Most left-wing racists are too stupid to know that membership in the Democrat Party was a requirement to join their Klan. ALL slave owners were Democrats in the beginning as they are today. The haters on the left just accuse patriotic Americans of the biases, hatreds, fear & self loathing that they themselves feel. It takes a? fascist left winger to hate America & Americans so much. Like their mideast terrorist counterparts, liberals want patriotic Americans & our Constitution dead & gone.
