Quote# 65019

My husband was brought up in a devout Christian home, but somewhere in his teens, he decided to rebel and got heavily into the occult and witchcraft. He got to the point
of status of Warlock in a local coven, casting spells, etc. One night he was sitting in his room alone evoking spirits when he realized that something came in with considerable power. The room turned ice cold, a horrible smell of sulfur filled the room, and he saw a very large manifested being. While this was something that he normally would be accepting of, he felt a great sense of evil that he never had before. He actually got scared, so he turned immediately to his witches bible to see what could be done to get rid of this thing.
(Stay with me now, this is where it gets exciting!!!!)
As he opened the book, it led him to somewhere near the end, and it told him that there were several options he could use, however in this case, the only option that would really work with this sort of thing was to "Quote scripture from the Holy Bible" and it actually gave verses to recite. My husband doesn't remember the verses, he knows that the presence left, and from that moment on, from that encounter, God changed him. My husband, of course, shares this testimony much better than me, but for awhile he sat there and contemplated. If a book which promises so much power and control, has to ultimately use the Bible to thwart off itself, then where does the real power lie, only with God Himself!

"E=MC² is a stawman argument now?"

Of course, the energy/light relationship in this state is a red herring, when one tries to apply it to another universe state altogether. The fabric that weaves together this state, is a temporal physical only state thread. No one questions that in changing the universe, God made sure that we had laws to govern the temporary state! Of course. Relativity is relative. Relativity is relative to the present state. That is also why I suspect that it is slightly less than all lined up in a row when it comes to the quantum level. If the quantum level involved things, or particles, etc passing through time, as many theorize, that means it is NOT ONLT THIS STATE UNIVERSE THAT AFFECTS IT!! Einstein, stand corrected. I mean that.

Quote# 64984

[responding to an article titled "11 Things The Bible Bans, But You Do Anyway" (including such sins as tattoos, polyester, and letting men missing one or more testicles into church).]

"Another willingly ignorant person with a web-log. Christians are not under the law; we are under grace. However, with that said, grace is not a license to walk in wilful sin; and, doing things which God says are an abomination to Him, as He clearly has done in all the scriptures about improper intercourse, is wilful sin. The New Testament has many passages which clearly show that God still hates the "fornications" of the heathen! Look up when Jesus was speaking against fornications, and then understand that word covers all inappropriate intercourse, and thus Christ did speak against homosexuality. The apostles, in Acts 15, deal with the issue of the gentiles not being under the law nor being required to be circumcised; and, in that passage, one of the four things the Holy Spirit inspires them to instruct the gentiles to keep themselves from is fornications (verse 20). Why is that? Because God still hates all kinds of improper intercourse; He still views men with men and women with women as an abomination! But I don't expect you to understand that! As for Tiller, and the man who shot him, I view that as a grand irony. It is ironic that the US government hunts down terrorists who murdered less people, on 9/11, than Tiller did as he was here killing helpless defenceless and innocent people! It is ironic that a soldier, who shoots a terrorist, and prevents him from committing a terrorist act (from committing a mass murder) is given a medal; but, a man who shoots a co-called doctor who butchers helpless defenceless and innocent human beings is punished for doing so! I would not have done it, I would have let him go on in his wilful ignorance and then roast in hell, for that is his fate; for I know that me trying to speak with him (I sadly didn't get the chance to do so) is probably about as useless as me trying to reason with you; but, I do it so that the others who are reasonable may see this and understand. And, also, so that you may then stand, before the judgement seat of Christ, without any excuse for your failure to repent! I have told you the truth, and it is now up to you to seek Him while still you can, and if you will not do so then your blood is upon your own head. And the time to seek Him, while He may be found, is swiftly running out." - My reply to this Antichrist rant of an article (to a worthless article, such as this one is). Both thumbed down, and blocked, is his site! "It is impossible to govern the world without God and the Bible. Of all the dispositions and habits that lead to political prosperity, our religion and morality are the indispensable supporters. Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that our national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle." - George Washington I am sure I could find 11 quotes from the founding fathers of this once great nation to post on this page, but I don't have the space, I leave it up to you all to search those out and do what is necessary in light of all the truth they declare.

Quote# 64954

The Big Bang Explosion

1 - The Big Bang theory is based on theoretical extremes. It may look good in math calculations, but it can’t actually happen. A tiny bit of nothing packed so tightly together that it blew up and produced all the matter in the universe. Seriously now, this is a fairy tale. It is a bunch of armchair calculations, and nothing else. It is easy to theorize on paper. The Big Bang is a theoretical extreme, just as is a black hole. It is easy to theorize that something is true, when it has never been seen and there is no definitive evidence that it exists or ever happened. Let us not mistake Disneyland theories for science.

2 - Nothingness cannot pack together. It would have no way to push itself into a pile.

3 - A vacuum has no density. It is said that the nothingness got very dense, and that is why it exploded. But a total vacuum is the opposite of total density.

4 - There would be no ignition to explode nothingness. No fire and no match. It could not be a chemical explosion, for no chemicals existed. It could not be a nuclear explosion, for there were no atoms!

5 - There is no way to expand it. How can you expand what isn’t there? Even if that magical vacuum could somehow be pulled together by gravity, what would then cause the pile of emptiness to push outward? The "gravity" which brought it together would keep it from expanding.

6 - Nothingness cannot produce heat. The intense heat caused by the exploding nothingness is said to have changed the nothingness into protons, neutrons, and electrons. First, an empty vacuum in the extreme cold of outer space cannot get hot by itself. Second, an empty void cannot magically change itself into matter. Third, there can be no heat without an energy source.

7 – The calculations are too exacting. Too perfect an explosion would be required. On many points, the theoretical mathematical calculations needed to turn a Big Bang into stars and our planet cannot be worked out; in others they are too exacting. Knowledgeable scientists call them "too perfect." Mathematical limitations would have to be met which would be next to impossible to achieve. The limits for success are simply too narrow.

Evolution is religion. It has never been seen, only pieced together by best guesses everywhere.

Production, creation - always done by some form of intelligence, happens in laboratories everywhere.

Creationism is thinking scientifically.

But dang it if we are going to give up on the evolutionary idea because we really really want to believe it -

Quote# 64981

National Health Care is all about rationing. This idea began with the Eugenics movement and they are still very active today. In addition, they want to FORCE all of us to pay for the killing of babies through abortion in this Health Care Bill. Who will they get to carry out these eugenic decisions: Planned Parenthood, of course. Planned Parenthood, the nation's top abortion provider, needs to be exposed for their eugenic and racist roots. Planned Parenthood's founders were elitist eugenicists who wanted to eliminate entire groups of people? Planned Parenthood’s renowned founder, Margaret Sanger wanted the "unfit" to be segregated to "Farms and open spaces" until their moral conduct could be corrected. Does that sound like a foundation of "choice?" Sanger admitted in her autobiography that she gave speeches to the Klan . Margaret Sanger was a member of the American Eugenics Society and so were many on the Planned Parenthood Board, including former Planned Parenthood VP, Alan Guttmacher. But, alas, where is the media to bring this out to the public's attention? Sanger formed the organization The American Birth Control League which later became known as Planned Parenthood. Several American Birth Control League board members formed the group: National Society for the Legalization of Euthanasia as early as 1938. Many of that group’s founders were Sanger Board Members and joint members of the Eugenics Society, a group Planned Parenthood Founder , Margaret Sanger , belonged to as well. ( SEE NYT “Sanction is sought for ‘mercy deaths” 1/17/1938). , Educate yourself about this by watching a documentary called: Maafa21. Get it here: http://www.maafa21.com. Quote# 64955

[Creationist Plate Tectonics]

Evolutionists declare that at some earlier time in earth history the continents were all joined together. Citing certain evidence which they believe indicates this, they have decided that the continents moved into their present locations from a mythical, single massive continent. This theory is called "continental drift."

The outstanding evidence for continental drift is the manner in which the coastal outline of eastern South America appears to somewhat match that of the west coast of Africa. Other continental outline matches have also been devised, but, as a rule, they require greater stretches of the imagination to work out. Continental match may not sound like very outstanding scientific evidence, especially since continents have to be twisted around a bit to make them even partly match. But this remains one of the best evidences that the continental drift advocates have to offer.

Flood geology can explain continental match quit adequately—and without having to resort to far-fetched ideas of continents traveling sideways thousands of miles! Prior to the Flood there were only broad rivers and shallow seas. The continents were close together and joined at that earlier time, except for shallow, river—like, narrow seas which may have been between them. As the seas filled and continents rose, some of these original outlines may have remained in match—just as the two sides of a river will match in outline. Matching of continental borders has been a primary reason why continental drift was initially accepted by scientists. But *Corliss explains that the "matching coastlines" proof is no proof at all.

"Continental Drift, once anathema and now enshrined, faces scores of technical objections. To illustrate one class of objections, it has been noted that many continents fit together well regardless of where they now 'float.' Australia, for example, We wall info the U.S. East Coast Like evolution, Continental Drift seems to explain too many things too superficially." —*William Corliss, Unknown Earth: A Handbook of Geologic Enigmas (1980)

Anyone who thinks these healings or miracles are faked or contrived, ask yourself why these "actors" have not gone into acting as a career-they could be millionaires IF they'd been acting.

Benny has been holding these meetings every? month for 25+ years-with no repeat "actors".

No-this is real-people do get healed-just like the Bible says.

A group of rabbis and Jewish mystics have taken to the skies over Israel, praying and blowing ceremonial horns in a plane to ward off swine flu.

About 50 religious leaders circled over the country on Monday, chanting prayers and blowing horns, called shofars.

The flight's aim was "to stop the pandemic so people will stop dying from it", Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri was quoted as saying in Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

The flu is often called simply "H1N1" in Israel, as pigs are seen as unclean.

Do not forget who told man that killing was wrong.

It wasn't a scientist. In fact, from his point of view, killing is just part of the process.
It wasn't a philosopher because human emotions like jealousy and revenge always took the best of them.

The bonding element is God, it's what makes you have a soul and be different from others.

(It's a MIRACLE!)

It's been forever ago, but I had a bunch of plantars warts on both my feet just disappear the day I got up to fly to Colombia S.A. to do missionary work there. I didn't see them disappear, they just did. I'd been praying about it, of course... could hardly walk on account of them.

A most wonderful miracle of course, for each of us, is that moment when our sins are washed away and we're made into new creatures. The greatest healings are those that change our hearts and make us more Christ-like.

Quote# 64995

To: POTUS, US Congress, and leaders of the world
For more than a thousand years, the religion of Islam has brought humanity nothing but murder, barbarism, slavery, and oppression. It has looted great treasuries of the Byzantine Empire, burnt libraries, defaced churcher, enslaved millions in Europe and Africa. And now, the religion of Islam is responsible for the anti-semitic and anti-Western terror that plagues the world. Clearly, the destruction of this barbarous heresy will benefit the people of the whole world. As such, we humbly petition the President and Congress of the United States of America, as well as leaders of all freedom-loving countries to do anything and everything possible to ensure the destruction of the heart of the Muslim religion: the so-called "Holy" city of Mecca.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned

I know this may sound strange but last night I was fixing my supper and the TV was on the teen awards of some sort. They gave out an award for something or another for best what ever. The recipient was a transvestite and it was thanking all the fags for voting for it for this award. My point is that I was appalled on how acceptable this behavior is even to teens and small children on prime time television. I wonder how many parents were watching this with their kids.

The award show actually shocked me. Even more so no one is saying anything about this. Homosexuality has been around for thousands of years I realize but to be so in your face with this behavior around children is just plain wrong.

I don't care what you fags do just keep it to yourselves. If I offend you well then grow some skin.

Quote# 64980

peace to you all. Interesting points of view. I've never personally met a Christian who was a "savage", I've also never met a generous atheist who can freely give without an agenda.
Never needed the gospel to be candy coated, because it doesn't taste bad. I can only say that by putting my faith in God and in the scripture's, everything written as far as promises for my life are concerned come true. My prayer's are answered and all my needs are met. People from all different backgrounds and beliefs notice that I am blessed and often ask me why, and I have to tell them that my solution is Jesus. If he doesn't exist what should I do next? Turn my back on him since my prayer to heal my cancer was answered and I'm alive and cancer free for 10 years now. Reject him after I received an unexpected $250000 as an answer to prayer from a company merit award at a time when I was financially broken. A lot of my associates are filing bankruptcy while my business is turning away clients because we can't keep up with demand. And why are we succeeding? Because we have a promise that non believers don't have, Isaiah 45:3 "I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places,so that you may know that I am the LORD".

Each to his own and I wish you all well, but atheism has never been able to explain why the bible works and why it is prophetically so accurate.

Topic: Atheists should be stripped off parental rights

Before I speak, let us ask God to give us the wisdom to come to a rational decision. In the name of the Father, his only Son Jesus Christ and Holy Ghost, Amen!

I had an interesting talk with my pastor the other day. I showed him the posts of one "atheist female" from these boards and he was horrified to see that she is a mother. Hundreds of Christian women are unable to have children because Satan gives children to atheistic females. It's a also fact that atheistic females have a sexual contact with males outside the holy wedlock, for they are sinful and full of lust. They don't have right to carry children in their wombs. It is illegal and against the word of God. I don't want my child who is 9 years old to go to the same school with the child whose godfather is Satan. No, no! I shall not tolerate this any longer! You atheists walk the earth only to blaspheme His Holy Name and His only Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost! How dare you? Live your pathetic lives and only when you surrender your life to the Christ shall you proliferate by the blessing of the Church.

God bless you all to find the way out of Satan and if not may he smite you if his vengeance for your filthy and life full of debauchery.

Quote# 64952

America has the BEST healthcare in the WORLD!

People travel to the USA (from their socialized healthcare countries where they cannot get treatment) from all over the world to be treated here, because we are the BEST!

[ . . . ]

No one on the planet has the RIGHT to free medicine or healthcare. Universal healthcare is not a right.

Healthcare is a RESPONSIBILITY.

Each individual and family bears the responsibility of healthcare for themselves, where in a free market they can pick and choose from among competing providers for the benefits and payments that best suit their individual needs, and where they have personal choice and authority over their own health and healthcare. No government panel decides what meds they can or cannot have - or whether their lives are "worth" the dollars spent to treat them.

When liberals try to turn a personal responsibility into a universal right, we end up with SOCIALISM.
