(Thread Title: I am boycoting the Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco they promote evolution.)

So I took my lovely wife and our 3 beautiful children to the Steinhart Aquarium ( California Academy of Sciences ) in San Francisco last weekend while we were attending the marriage of a friend. It turns out that the Aquarium is pushing a massive agenda of trying to proselytize to children that evolution is real, as in we evolved from single cell organisms and not from God. They also claimed that the universe was created from a single unit of Dark Matter and not divinely created by our lord God. They had noted Liberal Whoopie Goldberg narrating the explanation for the creation of the universe during the Planetarium show. They would not allow people to leave who were offended by the show either, they forced us to continue to watch the lies.

On top of all this they also had a huge exhibit about global warming claiming that it is going to kill us all when the reality is global warming is a lie as revealed by the emails of the scientists fabricating evidence.

As a child I remembered going to the Aquarium and marveling at all the exhibits and animals and wanted to share the experience with my children, unfortunately after their renovations they removed most of the animals and made it a huge billboard for spreading liberal anti god bias in a format that is aimed towards children.

I wish I could find an Aquarium or Zoo that address the divine aspects of creation and existence instead of constantly forcing squares into circle slots.

Is anyone else tired of 'science' presenting these theories ( some of which have been dis proven like evolution) as absolute fact to our children?

Quote# 69442

[On Luke 8:27 and 35]

What a precious passage of Scripture! This afflicted man was possessed by devils, running around naked and living in the wild. The entire city knew he was insane. Yet the Bible says when he found Jesus, he came into his right mind and put his clothes back on. Amen! Jesus is the cure for insanity and nudity.

Millions of Americans go to psychologists, psychiatrists and religious leaders for help; but the Word of God says the afflicted man at Gadarenes came into his RIGHT MIND when he found Jesus. It is interesting that being in one's “right mind” is associated with being properly clothed. Americans have a problem keeping their clothes on because they AREN'T in their right minds, they are mentally-ill. This is clearly evidenced by the fact that nearly half of the pregnant women in America have murdered a child by abortion.

Only a mentally-ill person would deliberately kill a precious child. So it doesn't surprise me in a rotten society that devours it's own children that they would also have a serious problem keeping their clothes on.

Obama is a moving man. He's putting things in place for the final one. Obama sold his soul to the devil along ago. He will not repent. He's too busy imagining that he will be a dictator. That's why he nearly falls over when he meets a King, or any kind of person in an authoritarian position. It's all about Obama.

Quote# 69399

The problem with Steven Newton's article concerning science being under attack is that it is not science itself that is under attack, but the presuppositions with which many scientists interpret their observations ("Science denial is on the rise," Thursday).

Much of the establishment in science disallows any kind of dissent or other views to be aired because the scientists are hemmed in by a philosophical and ideological viewpoint that doesn't allow for any scientific evidence that doesn't conform to their preconceived ideas. Highly qualified scientists are sidelined if they advocate any view that does not conform to the status quo. Those who believe God created the world (whether over a very long period or six days) are "unmoved by the wealth of fossil, molecular, and anatomical evidence for evolution" because they point to a different conclusion. The clear leap of faith one has to take with believing in macroevolution, with the lack of transitional forms, the lack of any evidence for life evolving from inanimate matter, and the clear evidence for Intelligent Design in all the intricate details of creation leaves the majority of people who believe in God unconvinced of evolution.

Quote# 69339

God Laughs at Al Gore... Again

By now you have heard, of course, that the Copenhagen Global Warming conference is getting hit by a snowstorm.

You might think this is no big deal, I mean Copenhagen is part of Scandinavia, right? And Scandinavia is cold, right? (Well, you might be thinking that unless you went to a public school and took 'Dealing with Feelings of Transgenderedness/Fisting 101' instead of Geography.) But Copenhagen normally has a mild climate, and has only seen a white Christmas (Solstice for you atheists who celebrate pagan holidays because they're more rational) seven times in the last century.

There is such a thing as the Gore Effect.

The so-called Gore Effect happens when a global warming-related event, or appearance by the former vice president and climate change crusader, Al Gore, is marked by exceedingly cold weather or unseasonably winter weather.
For instance, in March, 2007, a Capitol Hill media briefing on the Senate's new climate bill was cancelled due to a snowstorm.
On Oct. 22, Gore's global warming speech at Harvard University coincided with near 125-year record-breaking low temperatures. And less than a week later, on Oct. 28, the British House of Commons held a marathon debate on global warming during London's first October snowfall since 1922.

I really don't get how people can't believe in God. There's just way too much of this kind of thing going on in the world, if you pay attention to it. Maybe Al Gore should try reading God some of his poetry

Quote# 69458

In the first place, cards were invented to amuse an idiotic king, not for the entertainment of itelligent people. Every thought suggested by them is in direct opposition to God and rightousness.

1. The "ten spot" is in opposition to the Ten Commandments.
2. "Clubs" represents a weapon of murder.
3. "Spades," a tool to dig graves, suggests death.
4. "Hearts," holds up the broken heart of Christ for deririon instead of devotion.
5. "Jack" represents a livertine who lives off the gains of fallen women; one who makes business of commerbliplized vice.
6. "King" represents the devil, the king of darkness, the god of this world, the prince of the power of the air, in opposition to God, the king king of all the univers. Satan, the king of darkness, leads and entices men away from God and heaven, downpiano coversd to hell.
7. "Queen" represents Mary in a slanderous way. Semiramis, the mother of Nimrod, the great-grandson of Noah, set herself up in opposition to God and instituted, with her son, every pagan type of religion, all of them opposing God. Knowing that a "Deliverer" should come (Gen. 8:15), Semiramis set herself and son up to be the "Mother and Child." Ancient sculpture shows this plainly. She took the name "Queen of heaven," also "Queen of angels," "Mother of God," etc. She is the "Queen of harlots" and is worshipped as such in every country under different names such as "Diana", "Juno," "Venus," etc. Knowing God's plan, she ran ahead of God under Satan's direction, and every licentious religion on earth and every anti-Jehovah religion sprang from her unholy, rebelious mind. She us a slander on the name of the virgin mother of our Lord.
8. "Joker" represents Jesus, and this is the most horrid blasphemy of all; for the joker is supposed to be the product of an illicit union between the "Jack" and the "Queen."

-- Could any but Satan be the inverntor of a deck of cards?

-- A person is known by the company he keeps.

-- Every dissipation of youth has to be paid for by a draft on old age.

Quote# 69432

Homosexual recruitment is the active recruitment by homosexuals of youths in primarily heterosexual institutions, seeking to bring them into the homosexual lifestyle. Homosexual recruiters will typically prey on depressed and vulnerable heterosexuals and will "counsel" any troubled heterosexual. The recruiters begin by poisoning the victim's mind with false ideas that paint traditional Christian conservative values in a negative light. The recruiters, utilizing deceit and powerful mind-control techniques, make sure that the victim understands that their problems stem from these values. They then offer a solution: become a homosexual. The recruiters then promise that if the victim becomes a homosexual they will be accepted unconditionally, and all their problems will magically disappear, which is, of course, a lie.

While some have known for many years that this practice occurs, the first real warnings about this came in the 1960's, with the birth of the homosexual movement.

Quote# 69452

Atheist's are arrogant because in order to say that there is no God they would have? to know everything about the universe. Yet they don't. How's that origin of life thing coming along for you? Still have FAITH that life came from some ancient warm pond? Did you know that when Darwin made the hypothesis about the warm pond that scientists couldn't figure out why life sprang forth from rotting meat? They didn't know how maggots came to be so it seemed entirely plausible. Atheists have religion....it's called mankind. They have faith that mankind will figure everything out. Good thing man has never been wrong before. You can keep your faith in capricious scientists.......I'll keep mine in Jesus Christ! Maranatha

Quote# 69472

I wasn't born gay and neither were you. It was a path I chose, a sexually perverted choice on my behalf. If I was born that way, others, such as child molesters, drunkards, adulterers, thieves, could claim the same thing. Even if you think you were born that way, God still condemns it. He wouldn't make you that way and then condemn you to hell. It was your choice, so turn from it. Even if you still have the desire after you have repented, fellowship with Christians, personal prayer, and studying God's word will help you refrain and stay right with God. You may never have a heterosexual relationship and you may be single the rest of your life, but as stated above, life here on earth is a vapor. We aren't here long but we have heaven to look forward to if we remain faithful unto death.

Quote# 69447

An article titled "The ABCs of Evolution"

Being the studious type that many evolutionists are, I reckon it is time for the evolutionist camp to go back to school to learn some basics, the ABCs.

Let me see if I can help out.

A - absurd, amusing, asinine. That theory of evolution that is trying to be passed off is pretty amusing if you think about it, absurd at best and down right asinine if you think about it too hard.

B - bull hockey, baloney, B.S. Baloney, I say. You expect me to believe that bull hockey. Evolution theory is nothing but B.S. from the getgo.

C - Cinderella, cute - Evolution reminds us of Cinderella - pumpkin seed (don't know where it's from) becomes pumpkin (don't know how that happened) then the pumpkin became a carriage (sans the fairy godmother, of course.)

The list continues D-Z

Quote# 69434

Homosexuality was supported in Nazi Germany, although modern gay rights activists claim that an estimated 100,000 homosexual men were arrested for this crime, of whom approximately 5,000 to 15,000 were interned in concentration camps.

Yet, according to some historians, homosexual men constituted the core of the Nazi Party in Germany. In contrast to the wimpy "swish" homosexual, Nazi homosexuals were ultra-macho or "butch".

Someone I know, had something similar happen. His daughter was dead. She wasn't breathing. She had been sick and she was an infant. He laid her on the bed and prayed while the ambulance was on the way. By the time it got there she was alive again and the illness that made her quit breathing was gone. They took the baby to the hospital to check her out but she was fine and they let her go home that night. She had been dead for something like 15 minutes.

Quote# 69420

Because Obama is a surrendered Muslim, he knows the cult’s teaching that lying is a must to further Islam World Rule. Therefore, lying occasionally is not his option. It is a spiritual ritual honored by the Koran’s Allah. Obama lies with a straight face. He lies promptly. He lies on delay. He lies from the Christian pulpit. He lies whenever convenient. This is the first time that America has had an Islamic disciple sitting in the Oval Office. That man is not aligned with the US Constitution. He is a man of the Koran, regarding it as holy writ.

Obama has a history of Islamic devotion dating back to childhood. He has wedded it to his every thought. It graces his soul’s lodging. He has no question that Islam is the “righteousness” the world needs; therefore, he works with fellow Muslims to bring down our democracy for Islamic despotism. That means that infidels must be slain or made slaves. Does Obama believe that? Surely he believes that for he has given every indication that he deletes nothing from orthodox Islamic doctrine.

Quote# 69446

OK, I'll address your claims about the lack of peer reviewed scientific papers supporting creationist claims and I'm sure you know this well(but won't admit it): PREJUDICE, plain and simple. And it is as ugly and hateful as the racial prejudice that led to the Jewish holaocaust perpetrated by Hitler (a pond scum himself)(several anti-Christian, evolutionist, atheist blogs as case-in-point). The so-called referees and peer reviewers have an emotional/psychological adherence to the prevailing paradigm. Anything challenging that will be rejected out of hand, no matter its' merits. An example is the study on radiometric dating discordance done by ICR's RATE group. It was double blind and statistically analyzed. It showed that several commonly used different isotopes in the same rock gave isochrons that were radically different and OUTSIDE THE ERROR BARS OF EACH ISOCHRON! Of course, it was rejected when submitted because of institutionalized, systematic predudice! The "holy Grail" of "Deep Time" must be protected at all costs.

I'll be praying for all you pond scum.

I remember my grandmother said when she was younger, "When I was a little girl, the rapture was near". Now she's 70. That's not so comforting because people were even saying it then and now, almost 2010, Jesus hasn't shown up yet. I just need some encouragement because I want Him to come so bad that I am seriously trying not to say "He could come tonight" cause when another day passes I become so depressed... Thats what islam is all about.
The Koran was created because satan new he needed some kind of book to compete with the Bible.
And Islam was created because he needed a one God religion to compete with
and war with Judaism and Christianity.
Islam has always been satans tool.
In fact Islam is truly Satan worship on a massive scale but without the pentagrams and goat sacrifices.

You see, if evolution is true, science has an even bigger problem than Cain’s wife to explain—namely, how could man ever evolve by mutations (mistakes) in the first place, since that process would have made everyone’s children deformed? The mere fact that people can produce offspring that are not largely deformed is a testimony to creation, not evolution.

"RPG" means Rocket-Propelled Grenade. Something dies when a RPG explodes. The "R-PG" influence of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince may "explode" some day during the moral development of children who watch it, killing some of their parent-taught and Bile-taught teachings and values. Especially in the area of the perception of and degree of embracement of witchcraft and sorcery by the child(ren) thus distancing themselves from God's Holy Word and inherently from God Himself. They may end up thinking just like the characters in the film: that magic is good if it used for good whether by a witch or an angel. Wrong!

Quote# 69431

Homosexual bait and switch is a technique used by covert homosexuals in order to convert heterosexuals to homosexuality, or at least, question their heterosexuality. Covert homosexuals will heavily alter their personal appearance in order to disguise their gender. These covert homosexuals will enter "meaningful" relationships with heterosexuals of the same sex without ever disclosing their own true gender. These homosexuals do a convincing job by utilizing deceit and powerful mind-control techniques. Only when the victim thinks they are in love does the covert homosexual reveal their true identity. At this point, the victim is too emotionally attached to the homosexual to leave them, giving the homosexual the upper-hand. Coercion into a counter-fit same-sex marriage is not uncommon. Even victims that somehow escape a homosexual's grasps usually go through withdrawal which causes some to suffer a homosexual relapse.

The term homosexual bait and switch can also be used to describe other things; such as J.K. Rowling retroactively stating that a popular character, Dumbledore, from the Harry Potter series is homosexual.
