[Biblical Scientific Foreknowledge - Observation of the Wave Function]

The second chapter of the Gospel of John describes the conversion of water into wine by Jesus at a wedding reception. John 2:9 states: "When the host of the wedding feast tasted the water, it had been made into wine." This passage implies that the drink was not wine until it had been tasted, or observed. Possibly, the drink was a superposition of the state of wine and the state of water until it was observed as wine.

(in discussing blasphemy laws in Pakistan)

How ironic that the Left would love to have such a blasphemy law passed against Christians to keep them from speaking the truth about homosexuality, abortion, etc, the gods of the Left.
They're caught in a conundrum because they have a fetish for Islam because they want to use it against us, yet it happens to be the most oppressive, violent, and anti-Left religion out there. They will fight to put some make-up on Islam to make it appear more tolerable so that it can expand and gain a better stranglehold in the West, but at the same time it is going to turn on them and do them in. Meanwhile, the Left wants to put us, the only ones who understand the real danger of Islam, in a very similar choke-hold of their own.
Truly darkened minds and deceived by their lusts.

Quote# 77474

As for the Quran, one thing we are taught about Satan is that he mixes lies with the truth. It's unsurprising that there are many, many good things in the Quran. One could even find laudable tenets in the philosophy of Satanism. But you really have to look at the fruits of a religion to determine whether it is really of God or the Adversary.

Iran is a country run entirely by Islamic clergy. Therefore, one would think that the truest expression of Islamic government would be Iran... a country that is the world's leading source of terrorism and leading violators of human rights.

Someone care to tell me where my reasoning here is wrong?

Quote# 77471

They are laying a groundwork for persecuting Christians.

As a mentally ill individual who has battled suicide, I can assure you depression is 100% responsible for suicide. Not bullying.

I have been bullied this year, after refusing sexual advances. Am I sucidal? No. I dread going into work sometimes, I avoid him if at all possible, but I'm not killing myself over it.

The media is trying to build a foundation:
Christianity is hate speech (Bible verses protesting homosexuality);
"Hate speech" is bullying.
Bullying causes suicide (NOT TRUE).

Ergo, Christian beliefs, when expressed, lead to suicide. We have to restrict this!

I can see it VERY clearly. It's not about bullying at all; it's about taking away our rights to speak of Jesus and the Bible.

Mark my words on this.

Quote# 77454

(Coulter wants to repeal the 26th Amendment)

Adopted in 1971 at the tail end of the Worst Generation's anti-war protests, the argument for allowing children to vote was that 18-year-olds could drink and be conscripted into the military, so they ought to be allowed to vote.

But 18-year-olds aren't allowed to drink anymore. We no longer have a draft. In fact, while repealing the 26th Amendment, we ought to add a separate right to vote for members of the military, irrespective of age.

As we have learned from ObamaCare, young people are not considered adults until age 26, at which point they are finally forced to get off their parents' health care plans. The old motto was "Old enough to fight, old enough to vote." The new motto is: "Not old enough to buy your own health insurance, not old enough to vote."

Eighteen- to 26-year-olds don't have property, spouses, children or massive tax bills. Most of them don't even have jobs because the president they felt so good about themselves for supporting wrecked the economy.

Quote# 77438

It’s also not funny.

Did you know that non-believers are more likely to cheat on their mates, more likely to commit violent crimes, more likely to abuse their children. They are more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol, more likely to commit suicide. LESS likely to recycle. Less likely to volunteer. Less likely to give to charity. Because they don’t pray or meditate they suffer from stress more and therefore recover from illnesses at a slower rate then people who believe in either one or many gods and goddesses.

They are also responsible for the majority of deaths in this world. Nazis and Communists have killed way more people then any supposed “religious driven” war. (And BTW – 93% of wars have nothing to do with religion.) And both regimes were run by non-believers.

So remember, faith, belief, no matter what religion you follow, is a GOOD thing.

Quote# 77427

Readers will recall that Rachel Corrie, aka Saint Pancake, struck a righteous blow against Zionism and Western Civilization in general on behalf of oppressed Religion-of-Peaceniks by standing in front of an Israeli military bulldozer that was demolishing terrorist strongholds during an intifada and whose driver had no way of seeing her.

Since her death, a pancake breakfast was held in her memory. Moonbat activists gave her name to a ship used to supply Palestinian terrorists. A play was staged in her honor. Her moonbatty relatives have sued Caterpillar for making the bulldozer she so foolishly stood in front of.

Quote# 77420

If two people wish to actively engage in a homosexual relationship, they're free to do so--with every consequence which comes with that. However, they are not free to redefine marriage to include said relationship. Why? 1. They didn't define marriage to start with, and 2. They don't have the intrinsic authority necessary to redefine marriage. It would not be Christ-like /not/ to tell them this, or to simply let them go on their merry way without warning.

Simple belief isn't necessarily correct. One can certainly /believe/ anything, but a wrong belief shouldn't be allowed to proceed unhindered, simply because the interest of pursuing knowledge is /objective truth/, not convenience. Saying that a particular belief isn't true and/or that following that belief results in grave consequences isn't forcing someone to believe that. It is presenting the objective truth in contrast to a false, subjective belief.

Quote# 77411

(on Facebook)

Facebook has brought more harm to my family in recent history than anything I can recall. Because of it my nephew is getting divorced. My oldest daughter is not speaking to me after I called her out over some questionable posts.

My nephew's lawyer told my sister that in a recent consensus of lawyers, Facebook had played a role in 8 out of 10 divorce cases. Just this week Facebook announced their support of gay rights, stating "They were going to take an aggressive stance against Hate Speach". Thus they basically announced the censorship of christian messages and posts is going to increase.

Therefore "I Believe" it is an agent of satan and his world.

Quote# 77407

The word sea (bahr) is used 32 times in the Quran. The word bahr is used both for the sea and other waters like lakes and rivers. The word land (berr, yabas) is used 13 times. If we calculate the ratio of 32 to 45 the result is 71.111%.

You may look up in any encyclopedia in the world and see that the lands cover 29% of the earth whereas the seas cover 71% of it. It is really an interesting miracle that scientific and the Quranic ratios of the lands to the seas are exactly the same. This knowledge which was not available in Muhammad’s time is coded in the Quran with concordance of words. People who will outgrow their stubbornness will see that this is an easy to understand and impossible to imitate miracle.

Quote# 77386

[Re. President Obama's trip to India.]

Yes, W, and all Presidents have and did visit many countries, and who really has the numbers for the cost of Ronald Reagan standing at the WALL, and challenging communism with the RIGHTEOUS words that he said?

Anyone want to guess what RIGHTEOUS words the current holder of the office of Americas President will say?

America isn't about the cost of us belonging to the rest of the world. The rest of the world needs to understand what it means to be American, and follow our lead.

Until every person is an American, there will be no peace on earth.

Destroying America to make it like every other shit-hole on earth will not make anything better, it will just destroy America.

America is not the great satan, everything else is!

Quote# 77380

[On Obama]

Interesting he should have been so well received in Berlin, though, for obvious reasons.

And significant. Germany is the 'engine' of continental Europe and 2nd or 3rd among the world's leading ecomomies (behind the US and possibly Japan).

This suggests to me that BO is a 'dress rehearsal' for the mixed race antichrist when he appears. If he is widely accepted in Germany - as well as in the US, he clearly has a strong power base in both the new world and the old, i.e. the West.

The antichrist's part Oriental ethnicity will then give him the support of the East, including Islam. Everyone will be able to say, he's part of us.

In fact, and much as I hate to say this, I do not believe the Right should choose a female candidate for 2012. Only Conservatives love strong women, the left are far too sexist to forgive any woman who dares to step beyond the limited roles (Victim, Liberal or man hating feminist) which Political Correctness permits them to play and they will hunt down and destroy any woman who tries to or who stands in the way a preferred ethnic minority candidate.

Quote# 77338

I don't believe a child should be exposed to a couple of people suffering a mental disorder. Rabid Homosexuality is a disorder of nature, a product of a diseased mind. It's a sin that should be fought against, not normalized and imprinted into a child's mind as "okay". (Mind you, I don't speak of individuals who possess this temptation who are actively fighting against it). It's a corruption of the mental processes. Then again, most liberal straight people are suffering from various disorders themselves.

Remember that schools (media, society, etc.) currently DO teach that one religion is the one ultimate truth, namely secular materialism, so remember to realise how hypocritical it is for people (like several posters here) to say "No religion should be taught in schools". What they really mean is "No religion other than my own" - it's just that they are not honest enough to say it openly.

waiting1: Just think the liberals are always complaining about us. Which by the way we have never infringed on anyones rights. So God will give them over to the very religion they defend and do not denounce, and that will be thier punishment. If it is not Islam it will be the AC's composite religion, and they will have to bow before the AC, who knows what other hoops they will have to jump thru. All I know it won't go well for them.

(On gays kissing in Spain for the Pope's visit)

That's something that I just don't understand. Why on earth do homosexuals need to be so disgusting. They aren't even eccentric, they are down right outrageous! They flaunt themselves as if they are something special, they introduce themselves as gay as if it were an occupation rather than a disgusting lifestyle. They slobber all over each other in public (like in this article) and they dance naked in the streets. And THEY want the rest of society to grant them equality? There's nothing EQUAL about them except them and their own sex partners!!

Quote# 77339

[On teacher-led school prayer.]

"if your kids were in Muslim majority area, would you say that it would be OK for teachers to lead children in prayers to Allah?"

Nope. But this isn't a Muslim country. It's a Christian country.

"I think leaving it up to the children and parents individually makes more sense than trying to get a whole group to agree that didn't come there for purposes of prayer."

I once thought that way, but that was before liberals made it unmistakably clear that they intend to bury Christianity. No consideration for it, no treating it on the same footing with any other religion, no civility toward Christians. They have declared war on Christians and Christianity and I, for one, am for fighting back and stomping the bastards into the ground. That would mean prayers to Jesus in the schools, the Ten Commandments over the entrance of any and every public building, crosses on public grounds at Christmastime, and so on, with the intent of making it perfectly clear who runs America.

I think it should be up to the teacher. Christian prayer only. Anybody wants to whine, they can shove it up their atheist communist Muslim Other ass. But the pledge should be mandatory in every classroom at the beginning of the school day. Time we started teaching kids to love America again, and all that made her great.

Quote# 77270

Hitler came to power with the assistance of his Brownshirts. Obama was helped in his election by HIS brownshirts, namely the Black Panther Party, union thugs, ...

Hitler had his SS. Obama wants an internal security force that is equivalent to the military.

Hitler was half Jewish and hated Jews; Obama is half white and hates whites (e.g.comments about the grandmother who raised him). Beck's comment about him not being racist by being anti-colonialist also bears this out.

So, Jer, there are some examples on how he resembles Hitler. I would have to research it more to give you more, and frankly I am not willing to waste my time. I am sure that someone else can give you examples of how he is like Mao Zedong, Stalin, or other tyrants if they want to bother trying. The bigger point is that he resembles Hitler a heck of a lot more that GWB.

However, my opinion is that he and his are closer to the Weimar Republic the way he is running our currency, economy, and country into the ground. Maybe a cross between the Weimar and FDR with some Wilson thrown in?

Quote# 77326

This has been in my mind for awhile, Does God desire for us to use so much of our time on our ''education''?
to me education means to know how to read, write, know basic math, history, and science. Honestly, it seems that futher education such as Algebra is uneccesary and futile. Of course, I want to finish high school and later go on to college but i just want to know if that's what God desires for me. I want to live a holy and Godly life and sometimes my mind wonders if i should use such of an amount of my time in school. Its like the alternative of not going to school would be going out and spreading the message of Christ into the world and saving souls.

My daughter was near inconsolable and kept saying, "I don't understand", "I don't understand". I did, all to readily. I explained t her about darkness, spritual blindness, evil, stuff she already knows. But she kept shaking her head on how so many people could be SO blind as to not see what the progressive/left/demos/etc. are up to. I told her that Massachusetts, Nevada, and CA are still dark states and will continue to cling to their darkness.
