Australian Lungfish
Created on Day 5
November 17, 2009

The fossils of a creature almost identical to the Australian lungfish were found in Northern Ireland and were dated at 100 million years. With the Australian lungfish being limited to the waters of Queensland, Australia, how did remains of this creature get in Northern Ireland? Simple. Before the global Flood, the Australian lungfish may not have been limited to its present region. Also, the effects of the Flood could have moved this creature to the area of present-day Northern Ireland and buried it for people to find later. These fossil finds are an amazing testimony to God’s hand in creating the lungfish kind and to His hand in covering the entire earth in a global Flood.

*Swimming pool users banned from showering naked*

I think that we are all in agreement here on this issue.

This world is NOT a safe place for children; all one needs to do to conform this sad fact is to consult the newspaper, TV or internet and they will be presented with more than ample evidence of this. And this being the case, while we cannot remove all such hazards and dangers that might present themselves, as parents, relative, loved ones and friends, it is our responsibility and duty to see to it that the children in our lives are afforded the best protection from these particular elements we can muster for them.

In short, no stranger (aside from trained medical personnel in the appropriate hospital/ doctor's office setting or emergency situation) should see a child naked, and UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER should they BE EXPOSED BODILY to a child in said manner. Such behavior is not merely "unacceptable"; it cannot, and MUST NOT be tolerated.

On that note: it seems society continually tries to push the boundaries of what is considered "acceptable", eroding accepted boundaries and establishing new "norms" that are far different from what we are familiar with. In the past decade alone, we have seen what was once considered abominable to be phased in as practically commonplace ( i.e. "gay marriage"). It concerns me, due to the fact that on so many fronts the values that we hold dear are being challenged and in many cases stripped away. With all that we have seen so far, how much longer before they attempt with much stronger zeal an assault that targets children, if not already underway?

Why aren’t all schoolchildren being taught that there are special health risks associated with homosexual behavior and that they should “just say no” to homosexuality? (Instead, schools are willy-nilly working to spread the PC idea among youth that certain people are naturally “gay,” and that this is a harmless identity);

Why won’t the news media make the common-sense connection between these frequent stories about (male) homosexual behavior and disease — to the idea that perhaps it’s probably not smart for society and pop culture to celebrate homosexuality and bisexuality?;

Why isn’t there a concerted government effort — akin to the current anti-smoking campaigns — to reign in homosexual promiscuity – beginning with closing down all sex businesses (bathhouses) that facilitate homosexual perversion? (Of course, we favor closing down straight prostitution businesses as well.) We know that bisexual behavior (men on the “down low”) help spread dangerous diseases to the general population: how many deaths and illnesses have to result from “second-hand sodomy” before authorities take corrective action? (Curiously, even President Bush’s White House spokeswoman, Dana Perino, recently abruptly cut off a question by reporter Les Kinsolving critical of homosexual bathhouses);

If any other behavior were as closely linked to death and disease as male homosexuality, would we be so careful not to criticize it – or would we offer healthy alternatives to it like abstinence and the ex-”gay” movement?

Should you show off the skin on your arms? Is this modest? The fact is, sleeveless blouses (“tank tops”) and halter-tops or halter dresses are not necessary. Remember, God sees how you dress. Dress in a way that pleases Him.

What about showing off the skin of your legs? Do you think that God wants you to show off your legs to strangers on the street? Is this modest dressing? Remember, your knees are best used for kneeling in prayer. There is no need to show them off to men. Therefore, keep your dresses and skirts below the knees. Longer is definitely more modest than shorter.

A gay man has the right to marry either a straight/gay woman any time he wants just as gay woman can marry gay/straight man anytime she wants. THAT is equal protection under the law. Being able to marry a “house cat” is a new thing, just as man/man or woman/woman marriage is a new thing. That is the argument. Additionally, if gay marriage is OK, so is plural marriages of any configuration. Legally 10 people could all be married. That is equal protection under the law. Libs providing anecdotal information about a gay couple here or there that has been together for 20 years, etc. is useless. Study after study confirms that man/man relationships are extremely transient.

The issue is that libs continually try to change language to suit their goals. Just like the whole “pro-choice” thing. It isn’t pro- or anti-choice it is pro- or anti-abortion. If you change the language then you deceive people. Marriage has been between males and females for the entire definition of the word. “Health care reform” is another example of that. In all reality, that monster was closer to “insurance reform” but “health care reform” plays better.

Words matter and so do their definitions.

Like many Christians, I have some serious problems with the
theory of evolution, dinosaurs & similar ideas espoused by
modern-day science. According to text books, dinosaurs
existed millions of years ago long before the arrival of
mankind on Earth. Not surprisingly, this is in direct
conflict with the Genesis account, which I believe to be an
accurate record written by Moses, as dictated to him by God.
Contrary to what is believed by some New Age thinkers, in my
view, Genesis contains very little symbolism. It is a very
factual historical account written from a human perspective
so that we could understand the story of Creation even
thousands of years later today

If anyone’s being silenced it’s the majority of Californians who’ve time after time after time, voted against gay marriage. The nuts and fruits living in the land of fruit and nuts can’t handle they don’t get to play marriage. Even if the definition changes it will never “be” marriage. They will always be a pale shadow of an imitation of a real marriage. Because the pervert lifestyle, whatever it is, doesn’t lend itself to fidelity and monogamy, and this is what marriage is about. It’s why so few homosexuals “get married”, air quotes intentional. It’s why the only thing that they want it for are legal and tax benefits. Which they can get most of anyway through current contract law, powers of attorney, healthcare powers of attorney, leaving property to others in wills, etc.

Marriage is between a man and a woman. Hopefully they’re smart and made a wise choice so it is able to last a lifetime.

Tornadoes are not random. They have nothing to do with pressure systems, or hot and cold, or whatever those evil atheist Scientists come up with. Tornadoes are an exact execution of God's will against sinners. How else can you explain whole cities being torn apart and yet one or two houses remain? The answer is simple: God did not think that those houses were sinning. He told the evil occupants to go to the mall so that they could die with the rest of the people. Anyone who survives isn't "lucky," or "smart." They were saved by G*D!

See, when we bring up a lot of these irrelevant issues [evolution and anything else other than the threat of Hellfire and eternal torment], we're confining ourselves to the human intellect. The place of argument. Listen to Colossians 1:21. "The ungodly are enemies of God IN THEIR MIND." That's what the Bible says: the human mind is an enemy of God. The mind is a place of hostility, enmity towards God. [...] What we must do is learn to do what Jesus did. To circumnavigate the human intellect and go directly for the conscience. I can't emphasize the importance of this.

I for one, being a United States Infantryman, believe that if Trijicon puts any reference to the Bible on their optics then it is there right. Trijicon makes THE best optics (scopes) that I have ever used, or seen. I carried a Trijicon ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) in Iraq last year and I can tell you that just about anyone in the military will agree that they make the best optics for most commonly issued small-arms.

I never even knew about that Bible verse on my scope until it came up in the news. Do I care? No, in fact I find it kind of nice. Its like giving one back to the Jihadists. While other servicemen may have joined up for "Freeing Iraq" or whatever, I joined "Pro Dues et Patria"--"For God and Country", I joined to fight and kill Islamic Jihadists.

The struggle over there is one between Islam and Christianity, but sadly only the Jihadists seem to make that clear. They are not politically correct. While everyone is entitled to their opinion mine is thus: If Trijicon were forced to remove their "hidden Bible code" from their product they should cease from working with the U.S. Government, Trijicon has the best product and they should deserve to be able to place a Bible reference. For those who find this distrubing, then please give your money away, because as far as I am aware--"In God We Trust!" still is seen on legal tender.

I listened to a lecture a few years back about a study that was done on food. They used the same meals made from the same ingredients. Two were prepared by a loving mom for her family, two were made by an indifferent chief, and two were made by an agitated worker. They did this over and over with lots of different people and found that the same meal from the same ingredients was significantly nutritionally different depending on the emotional state of the person preparing it. More than that they found that the recipients body was able to much greater utilize the nutrients available once the meals had been prayed over. They found that the moms’ meals had the highest nutrition value, the most symmetric molecular structure, and the recipients bodies absorbed the most nutrients from it of the 3 unsprayed for controls. The chiefs’ meals were much less beneficial to the body and the meals made by the agitated workers actually cause detrimental effects to the body. Very little nutrition was absorbed from it at all and it caused an explosion of free radicals to be released in the body. In all cases the meals were prayed over and in all cases the meals ability to be used by the body improved. But the meal prepared with love and then prayed over was so much more beneficial to the body then the others that the scientist concluded, if they could find out why it could cut our food intake by 2/3. It was a very interesting lecture to say the least.

Regarding a teacher in the UK who is facing disciplinary action for after repeatedly proselytising to a student, even after being asked to stop by the girl's parents

I'm just appalled when I hear stories such as this. I have yet to hear in the news that a muslim or an atheist or an amoral person who shares his philosophies in a western country received some sort of treatment like this. Anybody can just highlight words but the sad fact still holds: In today's democracy,free speech is free speech only and only if Christianity isn't in the speech. This is pathetic. Many biblical Christians have been subjected to as much verbal harassment in the school or at the neighborhood but we take in stride because we purposely adhere to the individual soul liberty. As much as you honor and tolerant of words from atheists, amoral and immoral people, there should be also a tolerant of Christianity. Do remember this. Democracy is an application NOT by Islam, nor by atheism, nor by liberalism, nor by amoral practices, but by Bible-practicing believers of Jesus Christ. That's the truth and that's the fact!

In Genesis, God created Adam, the first man. The Holy Bible is a history book of Adam's people. The Hebrew word for man is Adam itself and actually means to show blood in the face; to be fair; rosy cheeked; to be ruddy; and to be able to blush or flush. One must admit that the other races do not fit this description and therefore, cannot descend through Adam. God declared, "Everything after its own kind". From Adam, there proceeded a chosen line who followed God after righteousness. From Adam's son Seth, to Noah the chosen line remained racially pure and faithful to God. Noah and his family were preserved during the Great Flood while God destroyed the disobedient. Noah's son, Shem, continued the chosen line and these people became known as Shemites or Semites.

Men and women have different but complementary genitalia and are able to advance the human race via procreational intercourse.

Humans do not have the natural ability to procreate in a homo setting. Homosexuals cannot procreate and cannot advance the human race by themselves.

A homosexually inclined person is about as useful to advancing the human race as somebody who has intercourse with a fair-ground ride (does happen).

Ultimately, such acts can be done, but the practitioners have deviated from what is to be considered natural.

Humans only have one option if they want to survive and that is hetero. This implies homosexuality is a flaw or disease.

Usually, effort is spent curing diseases. Homosexuality should be treated no different.

I just know some atheist is going to mention

Deuteronomy 22:28-29
If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

Allow me to answer this in advance. When a virgin is raped she is no longer pure and thus her chances for marriage are greatly diminished. God provides for the woman who has become impure due to rape. Since no else will want to marry her, God commands that her attacker marry her and pay her family a tidy sum.

The man who rapes a virgin has clearly shown an interest in the woman and so forcing him to marry her doesn't cause him too much distress on him and lessens the chance the marriage will be a really bad existence for the woman. Making the attacker pay her family a tidy sum helps the family out and in this way the girl helps her family out. So, instead of the woman being considered defiled and an outcast the family can embrace her. She gets a husband and the family gets money. God setup rules to help even the lowly out.

God has a plan for each of us and we just need to seek Him to find out what His plan is.
