Quote# 79137

I do not believe in the existence of atheists. No, this is not a play on words or a trick statement. Atheists don’t exist. By “atheist” I am referring to the ideal person who does not believe in the existence of God, not the person who labels themselves as an atheist. Clear as mud? All people who label themselves as “atheist” are not, by definition, atheists, because they all believe in the existence of God.

Congresscunt Giffords will probably survive being shot in the head, according to medical reports currently available. She will likely suffer some life long brain damage from the injury to her brain, but when the victim is a leftist feminist female, how can you tell? Her husband is a NASA astronaut. She should have been home taking care of her husband's house and family instead of risking her life promoting radical socialist causes and amnesty for illegal aliens. The proper place for females is in the private sphere of house, home, and family. The proper place for females is not in the public sphere of politics. If she lives, the Governor of Arizona will not be able to appoint a man to replace her in Congress. Another tragedy. Maybe she will retire.

Quote# 79105

The Incident: A certain woman has been trying to destroy my family with discord, violence and sickness through witchcraft and not natural means. When a certain family member happens to visit our house we apparently fall sick. So was natural that we thought he was praying curses over us (he also indulges into the occult and witchcraft time and again). But at a prayer meeting yesterday the Lord shone His light over the situation and gave a lady a vision of this woman who was cursing me. The best part of it, however, is that she was all shaken and trembling and saying the name of Jesus is too much for me to bear. She bowed down at the name of Jesus. Wow! Praise the name of Jesus. There’s power!

Quote# 79094

A littlle advice to young Atheists… A young man who wishes to remain a sound Atheist cannot be too careful of his reading. There are traps everywhere. Bibles laid open, millions of surprises, fine nets and stratagems. God is, in a way, very unscrupulous. You may argue against God, but answer me this: if the universe seems so cruel and unjust, how did you get this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line. What are you comparing this universe with when you call it unjust? You will never know how much you believe something until it is a matter of life and death. If you think of this world as a place intended simply for our happiness, and intellectual freedom you find it quite intolerable: think of it as a place of training and correction and it’s not so bad.

NAMPA -- A new Idaho law enacted in 2010 is designed to protect medical professionals by allowing them to refuse health care services that conflict with their religious, moral or ethical principles.

But Planned Parenthood says a Nampa pharmacist acted in the wrong and was not protected by the law when she refused to fill a prescription. [...]

The prescription at the center of this is methergine. It’s used to prevent bleeding after childbirth or after an abortion.

In November, a Planned Parenthood nurse called this Nampa Walgreen's for a methergine prescription.

According to Planned Parenthood, the Walgreen's pharmacist asked if their patient had an abortion.

The nurse says she cited federal patient privacy laws and refused to answer.

"The pharmacist said, 'Well, if you're not going to tell me that and she had an abortion, I'm not going to fill this prescription.' And then our practitioner said, 'Why don't you tell me another pharmacy that I can call or another pharmacist that can dispense this medication for my patient?' And the pharmacist hung up on her," said Kristen Glundberg-Prosser of the Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest.

Planned Parenthood called the pharmacist's actions dangerous.

Tea Party activists in Tennessee try to keep negative information about Founding Fathers out of textbooks

Tea Party activists in Tennessee say they want any portrayals of the Founding Fathers that might put them in a negative light to be taken out of textbooks.

The material calls for lawmakers to amend state laws governing school curriculums, and for textbook selection criteria to say that “No portrayal of minority experience in the history which actually occurred shall obscure the experience or contributions of the Founding Fathers, or the majority of citizens, including those who reached positions of leadership.”

Fayette County attorney Hal Rounds, the group’s lead spokesman during the news conference, said the group wants to address “an awful lot of made-up criticism about, for instance, the founders intruding on the Indians or having slaves or being hypocrites in one way or another.”

Quote# 79061

Homosexuality is all about sex and lust.....just the fact that they are so promiscuous proves it NEVER is about devotion and love for another person. That is why it is such a disgusting act (aside from the diseases and damage)....no honor or character for people who engage in those acts and think it “good”. It always ends up in rampant pederasty, like Afghanistan, the Greeks and ancient Japanese.

Our military will be void of honor and character and no different than the pagan Greeks and Romans...the atheist Russians who made Patton puke and the Odin worshipping homosexual Nazi troops....So disgusting how they hide the true facts about the effect of the promotion of such evil, ugly demeaning acts on the morality where ever it occurs, like the Weimar Republic. The Bible describes Sodom and Gomorrah and it was no uglier than the Weimar Republic. It was well known that the National Vice of Germany in the 20’s was rampant homosexuality. Every government official from other countries were warned to watch their back when they had to interact with Germans.

We need to get back to the Christian paradigm that we used to be under for two hundred years. It is aligned with Natural Law Theory and perfect for a free and just people. We need to get back to right and wrong. You cannot teach young children that evil acts are good. Moral relativism has to be abolished in the schools....John Dewey put it in the curricula...that is why we now have such immorality in society. it creates an immoral people who will end up like the Roman Empire. If it wasn’t for Christianity, Western Civ would have died. No pagan, atheist, islamic, etc., societies could ever create the type of free-for-everyone country we had. It is not possible.

The news media is showing only two camps to either Americans or the rest of the world: the camp of bin Laden, and the secular camp led by Obama.

That is a lie. There is another camp: the camp composed of Militant Christians who will fight to the death rather than be enslaved by any secular--which is just another word for Satanic--regime in the USA. Read our strategy OR Watch any of the videos like this one that I made during the Horsley for Governor campaign and you will see real undeniable evidence that Christians in the USA are being moved by Lord Holy Ghost to prepare to fight to the death to return the Law of the Lord Jesus Christ to His rightful place of authority in the USA. That is a mililtant Christian camp if there ever was one (and history is replete with evidence this is not the first time Lord Holy Ghost has moved His people toward war), a Christian camp that the world needs to know about!

Quote# 79020

The fact that marriage is the union of a man and woman is the law of nature, not the law of "old school moralists" or religious extremists. In fact it is what’s normal. Nature requires a man and woman to reproduce. Two of the same sex just won’t do it – sorry, but that’s a fact. And ideally, this union is the bedrock of a family.

I understand that a minority of people want to redefine this because it's nice to make people feel better or feel normal or included, but it's superficial because nature says it’s not normal and it’s narrow minded to suggest that gay marriage doesn't affect the majority of the population because it affects our children. It IS important to defend traditional marriage because this "redefinition" of what's normal, becomes a part of our kids’ environment and it's counter to what most of us want to teach or want for our kids. Demonize me if you must resort to that, but the law of nature is on my side and is stronger than anything pro-gay marriage forces can concoct.

ALL injuns must acknowledge the crimes of the indians of the past, and recognize that NOTHING happens on earth except God ALLOWS it. It is up to the Inju to understand WHY God thought the Injun, as a people, were to have their land taken and their tribes DESTROYED.

“Your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed four hundred years…. Then in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.

Like the Amorites, God saw the wickedness of the Injun and removed them and gave the Land to a nation HE chose.

Quote# 79015

The Bible provides a complete genealogy from Adam to Jesus. You can go through the genealogies and add up the years. You'll get a total that is just over 4,000 years. Add the 2,000 years since the time of Jesus and you get just over 6,000 years since God created everything.

Is there anything wrong with figuring out the age of the earth this way? No. There is nothing to indicate the genealogies are incomplete. There is nothing to indicate God left anything out. There is nothing in the Bible that indicates in any way that the world is older than 6,000 years old.

The Bible does tell us, however, that the fossils we find could not have been buried before God created Adam. The animals whose bones became fossilized had to have died after God created Adam. That means those fossils must be less than 6,000 yers old. Here's why:

How do we get fossils?

The animal has to first die. That's rather obvious. When did death enter the world? Not until Genesis chapter three when Adam and Eve disobey God. So up until that time neither people nor animals died. So, based on the Bible, there could not be any bones to create fossils until after the fall.

Here's another Biblical reason why the fossils we find could not have been buried before God created Adam:

When we examine fossils, in some of them we see evidence of sickness, disease and cancer. There is evidence of violence and of one animal eating another. So there were some problems. Not everything was good.

Yet, at the end of day six of creation: "God saw all that He made and behold. It was very good." (Genesis 1:31 NASB)

God didn't call His creation just good. He called it very good. A world with sickness, disease, cancer and violence is not good. So, the fossilized bones we now find had to have come from animals that died after God created Adam, and after the fall.

Quote# 79012

Most people don’t realize that male homosexuality does not always lean to the effeminate. Historically, male homosexuality was much more often associated with hyper-masculine warrior societies which were usually very brutal and very politically aggressive. The most recent example was in Germany. Hitler’s initial power base when he launched the Nazi Party was a private homosexual military force organized and trained by a notorious pederast named Gerhard Rossbach. Rossbach’s homosexual partner Ernst Roehm, who was also Hitler’s partner in forming and building the Nazi Party, converted the “gay” Rossbachbund into the dreaded SA Brownshirts.

So because they MIGHT have a tough life and live in poverty, we should just kill them instead? That is nearly as barbaric as what this monster did.

Did you ever conside that the child you just murdered might overcome that poverty and become the doctor that cures cancer and AIDS?

And if they don;t want to bring children into the world, then they need to stop getting pregnant.

(reaction to the SCOTUS rejection of a challenge to the D.C. marriage law)

[W]hat the Supreme Court has set up is the greatest civil war between the church and the gay community. And let me just state for the record, we don't want that fight. We love our gay brothers and sisters. But if the Supreme Court is not going to acknowledge the fact that we have a right as religious people to have a say-so in the framework of religious ethics for our culture and society, then we reject the Supreme Court on this issue.

Quote# 78967

Potential 2012 presidential candidate Rick Santorum told a right-wing news outlet that it is “common sense” for the state to prohibit same-sex couples from marrying and adopting children.

The former Republican senator from Pennsylvania spoke with CNS News editor-in-chief Terry Jeffrey, who asked Santorum about marriage equality and same-sex adoption, which he described as, “if the state takes a child and sticks it into a same-sex couple.”

Santorum agreed that marriage equality and same-sex adoption are a violation of natural law that the state should not sanction.
“The state is not doing a service to the child and to society by not putting that child in a home where there is a mother and a father,” he said. “This is common sense. This is nature.”

[re: implicit incest in creationist account of early human history]

It seems that you want to make this "incest" out to be something bad. You think that the fact that it is incest should be noted in the article, but I've never disagreed with mentioning that it occurred, but object to putting it in a way that suggests that there was something wrong with it. Even just the use of the word "incest", although technically correct, is problematic because of the connotations surrounding the term. As far as putting in bits that aren't in the account is concerned, I previously pointed out that you were doing that anyway. The bits that explain that incest wasn't a problem come directly from what you want to do—applying logic to the accounts, but unlike you, I don't come with the presupposition that they are mythological stories that therefore must have problems.

Quote# 78956

A right-wing radio host has told his audience of millions that the tragic events in Arizona at the weekend, where six people died and 14 were wounded during a murder attempt on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, has nothing to do with guns and everything to do with metal music.

Texan band Drowning Pool were forced to defend their song Bodies after it was revealed the murder suspect, Jared Loughner, liked the song. They pointed out the track was about the “brotherhood of the mosh pit” and the subject was “respect, not violence.”

But Limbaugh claims the right-wing pro-guns stance had no influence on the attacks, while heavy music did.

He says: “The guy listened to heavy metal, and some of that anarchist stuff. We’re dealing with an insane individual.

“It’s the liberals, not us conservatives, who glorify criminal behaviour and violent imagery. They say it’s art.”
