MARK SCOLFORO, ASSOCIATED PRESS: Well, how would you tell a daughter or a granddaughter who, God forbid, would be the victim of a rape, to keep the child against her own will? Is that something that you would–do you have a way to explain that?

SMITH: I lived something similar to that with my own family. She chose life, and I commend her for that. She knew my views. But, fortunately for me, I didn’t have to… She chose they way I thought. No don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t rape.

SCOLFORO: Similar how?

SMITH: Uh, having a baby out of wedlock. You know.

SCOLFORO: That’s similar to rape?

SMITH: No, no, no, but… Put yourself in a father’s position, yes. I mean, it is similar. This was a–But, come back to the original–I’m pro-life, period.

Newsweek does not impress me. I will not consider them to be fair and unbiased until EVERY story they do is written from a strong, conservative point of view.

I can’t believe anyone would be that stupid not to see the link between atheism and genocide. Yes religion is accountable for horrible things. No denying that. But think about it? atheism is on the rise, only 100 years old and has accounted for millions if not perhaps a billion Deaths. Good luck on the next century, morons. You really think its going to get better? If anything its just going to get worse because at the very least there are some people who profess to be christian and at least pretend to follow the bible and its commandments. When that is gone, no amount of “Real world morals are not influenced by the bible” insanity will save you from the cold hard truth. Ya maybe 1 out of thousands believes in treating everyone as equals on their own without the bible. But all I can remember at school is how much everyone hated hom*****uals, how racist everyone was, and how *****ist everyone was. And I can think of about 1 person who actualy believed the bible and he basicaly just said he didn’t like homo*****uals. So take you’re balonie about atheism being less corrupt and burry it. HUMANS ARE THE PROBLEM NOT RELIGION…. and atheism just adds to that fact, denying god from people who may otherwise have been at least a little less crazy because of it. All its going to do is replace the total nutcases who promote hatred based off religion into nutcases who promote hatred because they are superior in everyway. Not in anyway a positive trade off, it might even be worse. Stop flaunting how superior and more educated you are, you’re just humans, and you’re going to spill blood, accept it, and fight the real issue.

Science in and of itself DEFIES the theory of evolution. Here is simple proof. Remember the experiment done by Fransesco Redi in 1668 with the flies and rotting meat in jars? One was sealed, the other had a screen on top of it, and the last one was left open. The one that was sealed, obviously, had no flies. The one that had the screen on top had flies and maggots on the screen, and the one that was left open had flies and maggots all over the meat. That experiment proved the irrefutable fact that LIFE ONLY COMES FROM LIFE!

That being the case, how can an explosion over billions of years create life? An explosion would kill everything. Therefore, no life would exist to create life. Also, if the theory of evolution were true, wouldn't life find a way to adapt to the atmospheres on other planets? We have 9 planets in our solar system, 8 of which are uninhabited by ANY form of life. The Bible STATES that God created the universe. Evolution THEORIZES how the earth was created.

Quote# 89266

Girls are literally owned by their rapist fathers. Families exist in order for men to be served by females — domestically, emotionally, and sexually. A lot of us haven’t realized until recently that such sexual service is required of daughters as well as wives, and that the rapists include all male family members as well as fathers. Combining the numbers of reported assaults with the many more unreported ones (especially knowing that many victims of rape by male relatives forget the attack, and others lack information to name it for what it is), we believe over 90% of all girls are victims of family rape. Of the many females we know who were raped as girls, none reported it to the authorities. The majority don’t tell what they know won’t be believed. And they’re also in fear for their lives. Most who did tell their mothers were not protected. Instead, the mothers defended and protected their husbands, sons, and other male relatives, and the attacks continued. The horror of living with rapists, sadists, and their collaborators — usually without the support of one person –means many little girls survive by forgetting the attacks and ultimately forgetting much of our/their own girlhoods. This mental and psychic colonization is even more powerful than males’ ownership of our bodies.

Quote# 89853

In his speech to the United Nations General Assembly today the President of the United States declared that the future does not belong to practicing Christians. Already, the media and the left are in full denial, probably based on their general lack of understanding of theology. This would have been a gaffe had Mitt Romney said it. But with Barack Obama, he’s just speaking bold truths. His bold truth declares that the future does not belong to practicing Christians.

Pay careful attention to what he says.

The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims. It is time to heed the words of Gandhi: “Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit.” Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them. That is what America embodies, and that is the vision we will support.

Now, that’s the full paragraph so no one can claim I took him out of context.

But consider this.

It is an orthodox Christian belief that Mohammed is not a prophet. Actual Christians, as opposed to many of the supposed Christians put up by the mainstream media, believe that Christ is the only way to salvation. Believing that is slandering Mohammed. That’s just a fact. If you don’t believe me, you go into the MIddle East and proclaim Christ is the way, the truth, and the life and see what happens to your life.

Then Barack Obama went on to say “Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied.” Note he says we cannot “slander the prophet of Islam” but it’s only the image of Christ in the next sentence — not actually Christ himself desecrated. If this is so, why does Barack Obama’s government continue funding the National Endowment for the Arts, which funded Christ in piss, the Virgin Mary painted in dung, etc.?

Quote# 89852

America is dead and gone. The final nail in the coffin was the 2008 election of an African communist as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Hey, America had a great run... remember it fondly for what it was. There’s no point hanging onto the past. The upcoming election is meaningless.

The United States of America is now little more than a land mass populated by cretins, ingrates, and parasites who have absolutely no respect for the military and who vote for big government to confiscate money from their neighbors so that it may be “redistributed” to them in exchange for their votes. It is not an America worth defending anymore. That America no longer exists.

The parasites outnumber the hosts now, and there’s no going back. America is dead.
The Democrats have won.

Nothing lasts forever (shrug) and there’s no point crying or whining about it. My recommendation to every decent human left out there is to throw some cold water in your face and proceed to ‘Plan B’. Figure out how to grab every government dime you possibly can before the parasites who comprise the Democrat party “base” gobble it all up. Look for angles. Look for refuge. Hide what you have. Get under the radar and game the system. Every man for himself.

Good luck, everybody.

Already sexual attacks on men by men have increased tremendously [in the military]. Already homos are on the march, chaplains are silenced, it’s just the beginning; it will get much, much worse unless and until it goes back to “Ask, and if the answer is wrong, out the damn door!”

Homosexuals DO NOT BELONG IN THE MILITARY and there is so much evidence to prove this that only those pushing a depraved agenda ignore it.

You can't assume based on lack of evidence that something is true, that it is untrue.

For example, it has never been proven that 1 = 1.

Mathematicians start with that as an assumption because without it, all other mathematics is impossible.

But it has never been proven that 1 = 1.

Let's make a deal.
If I agree to keep my religion (Christianity) from our the public school system will you agree to keep your religion (Evolution/Atheism) out of the public school system.

What could be fairer than that?

This article is really silly, especially the statement "Young-earth creationism is a sin"
The real sin is that many Christians have been intimidated by abmit but empty claims by evolutionists and have accepted Evolution as a scientific fact when in reality the scientific evidence supporting it is pathetic.
“Evolution” is a vague word. The main defintions in the text books are:

1) "change over time", this is silly as it is stating the flaming obvious.

2) Micro evolution is minor changes within a species, this is real and observable and uncontested.

3) Darwinian/Macro evolution (where the conflict is) which asserts that:

a) All living things had a common ancestor. This implies that your great….. great grandfather was a self replicating molecule.

b) The observable world has come into existence by totally natural, unguided processes and specifically WITHOUT the involvement of an intelligent designer.

The evolution battle is often MISrepresented as science against religion - this is baloney!
The real battle is between good science and Darwinism. When Darwinian/Macro evolution is scrutinised using the scientific method, it crumbles.

The scientific method demands: observation, measurement, repeatability. Darwinian/Macro evolution has none of these, all it has is circumstantial evidence which is open to interpretation. Ask yourself: What evidence is there that our great .... great grandfather was a self replicating molecule?

Dr John Sanford (Geneticist and inventor of the GeneGun) said .

“The bottom line is that the primary axiom [of Darwinian/Macro evolution] is categorically false, you can't create information with misspellings, not even if you use natural selection.”

I tell you what, Richard gave a two word axiom that we ought to emblazon on everything we have: liberalism kills.

Liberalism kills, whether it's in the family; whether it's in a university; whether it's in education; whether it's in business; whether it's in government, and especially in denominations, liberalism kills.

That's a great axiom to remember is liberalism kills.
