Simply put, it is not possible to believe in YHWH and in His prophets without believeing in the diety of Jesus.

Quote# 2346

I believe that miracles of other probably religious do happen, but not nessicarily because they're God ordained. Jesus said he was the only way to the Father. So, the way I see it, TRUE miracles only come from him.

Quote# 2345

I just took a college class called "Music In World Cultures". Some of what we discussed dealt with how tribal and religious cultures use music in their spiritual rituals. Some work themselves into a frenzy, and eventually go into trance...or more appropriately labeled, possession.

Quote# 2344

And you're right, if there is no God, then there is no reason for the universe. We would be a cosmic accident and by all standards we would be insignifgant nothings. Which means we are still no better then worms, which means Hitler, Pol Pot and Sadaam Hussein have done nothing wrong.

Quote# 2342

Without God there is no moral code, there is no basis for what's right and wrong, and good and evil are interchangable.

Quote# 2341

I saw a documentary on the History Channel where they thought the Bible was a series of alien visitations. Moses went into a spaceship on the mountain and brought out the ten commandments and when Jesus was on the hill during the transfiguration the aliens came back and visited (you know Moses and Elijah because they had to be aliens too for it to make sense). Fine intelligent programming for people who would rather believe that aliens created or developed our race than have to come to grips with the facts.

All of you 'former Christians' turned Atheist are weak minded, and weak souled. You won't find real Christians turning away from God because some Message Board dork tells them to.

Bush's proposal is justified, even if it is first strike, as Iraq jeopardizes world peace. However biblically the government should be of a monarchy.

Quote# 2337

None of you seem to know the answer. So I will have to properly inform you. If anyone here thinks they know the answer, then say it. In Colossians 1:17, it says that Jesus holds all things together. Its the only thing that makes sense. Think about it. You don't know the answer, yet the answer is before you. It is Jesus that holds everything together. I've given you my answer which is completely logical.

And why, may I ask, do you think the atom does not collapse or the nucleus doesn't fly apart

Quote# 2335

[After someone explains the Strong Nuclear Force]Seems like a pretty good arguement to me. Like I said, gluons have never been observed, measured, or proven to exist. They were made up by Athiests to try to explain the phenomina of why the nuclei stay together. Gluons do not exist.

Quote# 2334

We know that an atom is composed of protons and electrons. If the protons are positive and the electrons are negative, then what keeps the electrons from crashing into the positively charged nucleus. If the nucleus is completely made of positive material, what holds it together? Wouldn't it fly apart because of the like charges. We know that gluons don't because they have never been observed or measured. How would they hold the atoms together anyway, no force is really strong enough to keep electrons away from the nucleus or to keep the nucleus together. That is, except the power of god. Check out this verse...Colossians 1:17

Quote# 2332

The problem with psychology is that it looks to man for the solution rather than God, and reduces behavior and human problems to functions of chemicals in the body. It is inherantly anti-supernatural and skeptical.

Quote# 2331

[After someone explains carbon dating doesn't work on things over 50,000 years old]Well, When I was in high school, back in the 80s, the carbon dating method was used to destroy my faith in Jesus Christ. Whether or not it is used today for dating 50000 years out. So now its known not to work so well on those ~5 million year old fossils.

Quote# 2330

Carbon dating has a circular logic that tries to prove archeology with geology then geology with archeology. It is unreliable considering +or- 1 million years to be good. If carbon dating is what you are basing your agnostic beliefs on then you should reconsider

No human being was there when the earth was created. There are no 'first hand accounts'. The only first hand account that we have to go by is the Bible.

Quote# 2328

[Replying to 'Can God make a rock so heavy he cannot lift it?']Not only can God create the unliftable rock, but He could also lift it. Again, why could He not? If your answer is simply because it does not make sense, then you are right in the effect that it seems to not make sense. However, by doing so you are trying to restrict God to the level of your intellect (and I grant your intellect is quite impressive, but not equal to God's).

Quote# 2327

[Replying to 'Can he make a square circle?']If God is omnipotent, then the answer to these questions is yes. God, the inventer of logic, is not bound by what He created (just as I, an artist, am not bound to create my artwork the same way every time - I am the creater, not bound the the constructs of my artwork).

Quote# 2325

I'm just using this as a clear example of the kind of deception that is happening in the Roman Catholic Church. We can't fight this kind of deception with logic or reason. Arguments are of no avail. While we do need people out there speaking the truth so that when their eyes are opened they will see it, I don't think there is anything to be gained with constant arguments back and forth with people who are so deceived. It just doesn't work.

to bad I'm not talking about tuberculosis, do some reading (Im not talking about websites) on the subject and you'll understand that becoming immune [to antibiotics] isn't evolution. Sort of how we become immune to the chicken pox after getting it, or gaining the same immunity from your mother after you are born.

As i've read through all these forums, all you evolutionists seem to have different stories, or different "proven!" theories, and ya'll all just basically prove eachother wrong by going on about what you think you know. atleast all us creationists have our facts down right and know what we believe and don't help prove our beliefs wrong.
