Quote# 21364

The Vedic account of our planetary system is already researched, concluded, and perfect. The Vedas state that the moon is 800,000 miles farther from the earth than the sun. Therefore, even if we accept the modern calculation of 93 million miles as the distance from the earth to the sun, how could the "astronauts" have traveled to the moon--a distance of almost 94 million miles--in only 91 hours (the alleged elapsed time of the Apollo 11 moon trip)? This would require an average speed of more than one million miles per hour for the spacecraft, a patently impossible feat by even the space scientists' calculations.

As explained, it was kicked out of orbit. It now holds a highly elliptical orbit far away from the Sun. In fact, one revolution around the sun takes approximately 3,700 years. Currently it is several hundred AU from the sun. It is also possible that the planet is cloaked. Its inhabitants possess technology far greater than ours, so this would not surprise me.

Planet X is coming...

Quote# 21356

There are alot of reasons, but I just wanted to list the following for your review and consideration:

1. Jesus's bones were found.........no resurrection.
2. Jesus was married.
3. Jesus fathered a son.
4. Jesus and His disciples were homosexual.
5. Jesus never said He was God or the Son of God.
6. Jesus was the product of a raped young teen, hence no virgin birth.

Etc. etc. etc.

Now, please think on this; have you ever read anything so vile and hateful about Confucious or Buhdda, or Mohamed or Hare Krishna or whatever?

No, just about God the Son, our Lord and Master, Jesus. The One who died for my sins, who washed me clean from sin, and made me a child, a son of the Living God!

Such hate, lies, and mistruths. Would there be such vile feelings on a fairy tale or a "made-up" savior, I don't think so.

Jesus is real and just exactly who He says He is. Search your heart, who is He to you? He wants to be your Savior, who do you want Him to be?

Choose wisely, choose life eternal.

let's see, atheist got it all figured out it in the last 1000 years, and religion which has been around for 1000's of years was a waste of time!!!

the funniest and most amusing thing is how the earth formed itself through natural selection!!!!

if i told you that my house built itself you'd thing i am crazy, but if an atheist said the earth formed itself (which is 100000 time more complicated than a house) ,,then all of a sudden, that makes sense

One of [the amoebas] gets the bright idea of wanting to exit this primordial soup. It tells other amoebas that it wants to grow legs to walk out of the soup. The other amoebas say: Wait, what's a leg? Well, a leg is made up of stuff; flesh, bones, blood vessels, tissue, and it has to have a nervous system for electricity to make those muscles work. Wait! What's a nervous system? But this amoeba is so smart it just tells them all to play along with it cause he is sick and tired of living in this soup. He tells all the amoebas to just WILL it to be so! Will it to be so! Will it to be so! Will it to be so! he screams at the top of his voice that hasn't even formed yet.

Hey, morons! The man who's telling you that we'll all drown tomorrow is the same joker who credits himself with having invented the Internet. Remember? The "muse" that inspired Whatshisname Seagal to write "love Story." He's preying on your fears, you gullible fools! And yet you believe his apocalyptic rantings without question or thought.

Incidentally, has it ever occurred to you that this prophet of doom should at least pretend he sets the example by riding a bicycle, or something, instead of polluting the air with his private jet and his SUV?

Liberals and eco-nazis are all a bunch of dimwits who were born to be slaves to every con-artist out there. Barnaum was right: there's one born every minute. And they all vote democrat.

AlGore got an Oscar for his Big Lie Propaganda film about global warming. If anyone was looking for proof that the claims of human-caused global warming are entirely political and have nothing to do with science, that Oscar certainly provides it.

If anyone would produce a documentary that told the truth about global warming - that it is the natural recovery from the 500-year Little Ice Age and is being caused by increased solar activity, i.e., a hotter sun - that documentary would never even be allowed to be shown in theaters, much less get an award.

Quote# 21333

I dont care how many people support evolution, because salvation is not a popularity contest. And thus lies the problem in your belief system, you're so willing to accept the word of falliable man in support of "science", while turning your back on God. Roughly 2/3rds of the global population WILL end up in hell for not accepting the truth of the Lord. Are these numbers OKAY with you? They aren't OKAY with me, I am deeply concerned about the human population and its ongoing quest to satisfy Satan(as a whole, luckly there are a few smart individuals who have the wisdom to see through these tricks).

As for evolution itself, the USA is a very religious nation that holds itself to a higher moral standard than other places. Which is why evolution is "on the rocks" here in the states. But even ignoring that, things like "germs" and "electricity" are not science. These are parts of our reality that can be directly observed, unlike evolution or global warming.

Al Gore is just a politically motivated Charles Darwin. The only thing these two individuals really have in relation to each other, is the location of their eternity after death.

Quote# 21332

Here is a great example on how secular feminism is seeping into the church.. not good..

women should NOT be a pastor or priest. Simply because men where made in the image of God and women made in the image of MAN. There is a great difference..I remember I went to a Lutheran church to a wedding and their was a woman pastor. I couldn't believe it. It shows such a great defiance to the gospel and the torah..It is not their position..

Not covering your head is equivalent to a man growing his hair long like a woman. Very traditional catholics like nuns and devouts cover their heads..

However you can blame this problem on femenism. Femenism is nothing but a tool of Satan.. The word of god shouldn't be changed or twisted no matter what, we should follow what it says..

Quote# 21326

Brother, you can't use an excuse like that. It's like saying "show me where in the Bible it says I shouldn't beat my wife". It doesn't! But their are principles there that tell me I shouldn't. It says to "Love your wife". A loving man will not beat his wife. However, someone, who beat their wife, might defend themselves by saying "It's not in the Bible".

And to further illustrate, another thing which people often defend, because it is not in the Bible, is "loving" themselves. I won't mention what I actually mean, and love has nothing to do with it. Anyway, the Bible doesn't say "Don't do that!" directly, but it tells us to flee youthful lusts etc. I am sure most young men (and young women too, and probably older men and women) struggle with this, but there are many who DEFEND this position, claiming the Bible is silent on it, so it must be okay.

Now Chris, I am NOT comparing beating up wives and the other thing, to Rock Music (although a link would probably appear if you took a huge survey of wifebeaters and the music they liked).

Quote# 21325

You know, I could just as easily initiate threads about specific members here who make ignorant statements like not knowing that each species reproduces itelf. In fact atheists here make so many ignorant and ludicrous statements that I wonder how most of them got through school. I could also initate websites for people to come for the sole prupose of slandering individuals and gossiping about them all over the internet.

But I don't enjoy singling people out to humiliate them and neither does any true Christian. So why do atheists enjoy that? Why do they initiate threads, (even risking being banned to do so) to attack specific memebers? Why do they want to hurt inidivuals that badly?

Why do they initiate whole forums for the specific puprose of profaning God, Christ, and indiviual Christians? And FSTDT is not the only forum that exists for the sole purpose of slandering individuals. "Raving Atheist" Atheist.com, "Ethical atheist" (which is an oxymoron), and all atheist websites do that. These are all hate forums because they exist to slander people and our Lord. There are very few "intelligent" discussions on any of them because they have no proof that Jesus is not Lord and they know it. So there's nothing to talk about except just passing along hate. So atheists as a group, are nothing more than slanderers...

Atheists don't say; "Oh warewolf" when they're angry, nor "Darth Vader!" etc. Nor do they curse people who watch those movies. So why do atheists think that cursing those figures never caught on in society? Anyone who has a modicum of brain activity knows that it's because they're imaginary, including atheists. But since they take Christ's name in vain, that proves that they know Jesus is Lord. But since they cannot admit it because that would make them guilty of sin, they will blatantly lie and make up absurd reasons for why they don't curse the above fictional characters.

There's a new wiki and it's going to blow Wikipedia out of the water. Imagine an educational resource like Wikipedia but free of the Anti-American, Anti-Christian, Pro-materialistic bias.

I'm sure WIkipedia is great if you want to learn about "Gangsta Rap", "Gang-banging" or catch up with the latest gossip about Britney Spears, but is that what we want our kids to be learning? Our kids should be learning about scientific facts like ID, and the history of America our Christian founding fathers.

Conservapedia is just the right sort of thing for those of us who are homeschooling. Where else can you find an accurate reference for all of the world's most interesting issues, and be sure that the articles are 100% free of bias, spin and political correctness.

This page explains the fundamental differences between WIkipedia and Conservapedia. I do hope you will join me and submit a few articles. May I suggest that with the author's permission, some articles from this site might be donated to help build Conservapedia?

Quote# 21314

we could educate people that they will be put in jail for having a back alley abortion. because its kind of murder. Its not a matter of choice here less then three percent are from rape or the chance that the mother may lose her life. that means that more then 97% chose to spread their legs, and since we have been told since we were 10 what could happen if you have sex, their is not excuse for allowing people to skip out on the consequences of their decisions. Then if you actually look at the intrinsic value that all life has you come to this conclusion it is the same thing to say that an unborn baby has less intrinsic value then that of a born child because they have the same chance for survival, that is zero if they are left on their own. Also you find that it is very similar to saying a person has less intrinsic value because of their race, religion, sexual orientation, physical or mental handicap. based on that argument anyone who is not genetically perfect should be killed. Hey wait that sounds familiar what famous Nazi dictator thought that way ?

A few nights ago, a couple of my friends (who aren't christians and are very into meditation, spiritual experiences, etc.) made a ouija board and experimented with it. They said they met a group of "people" and were talking with them for hours. They've been documenting their conversations and everything. My friends told me their names and their stories and that they've been doing this for 3 or 4 nights in a row.

I know they're communicating with demons, and im not sure what to do. They actually believe they're talking to dead people in a sort of limbo. If i try and tell them they're actually talking to demons posing as dead people, they won't believe me, and will roll their eyes, basically.
