Quote# 69272

No, abortion doctors are the ones who want to control women. That's why they rape and sexually assault them, as well as giving them false information; who would actually trust someone who makes his money from killing unborn children to give accurate information about it?

Quote# 69246

There is women who lives on my street for several years. She is very introvent, intelligent and kinda pretty for her age in my opinion. She lives by herself with her animals.

We used to not speak to each other much but we sorta became friends while I was voluntering for toys-for-tots and she was voluntering to. She is the only women around here who is my age and not married or divorced with children. She doesn't seem bitter about it all. She is actually pretty content and happy.

She's been all over the world, has read nearly a thousand books and rides a motorcycle! I loved listening to her talk it was so refreshing to talk to another women wothout it being about babies or husbands.

We do differ in politics. She is extremely liberal boarding socialist through she denies it. She dislikes Obama because "He's to conservative" <rolling eyes smilie>

Yesterday, I was asked her what church she went to. She started getting shifty and nervous. She said she didn't go to church so I invited her to mine. She said "no Thank you" and tried to change the subject.

I kept pressing her until finally she told me

"I'm an atheist" I was in shock. I never met an atheist in real life before. We got into a hudge argument and then I asked her "To prove there was no God"

She answered back "Okey will look at the method you used to prove that Zeus and Thor aren't real and will start from there"

This made me more upset and angry she ended up leaving. I am very upset right now. How can I prove the truth to her <shrugging smilie>

[Does this mean I'm unpatriotic because I support health care reform?]

No, it means you don't understand the concept of liberty. (I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt, here. If you support this measure knowing what it means, then it means you're a Marxist and theif.)

[RE: Religion Responsible for Abuse of Women?]

I agree, Religion has been responsible for the abuse of women. Christianity however, has never been responsible for the abuse of women and it always cherishes, loves and protects women!

Quote# 69222

This is the last best place to live on earth and we can't let them ruin our country. They are the minority and we are the majority. I can just imagine the next tea party, it will be huge beyond comprehension. This is absolutely wrong for these cowards to do this to us. They pick Christmas Eve to do their dirty work. Hope congress has a good Christmas because most will be unemployed soon and will have their pink slips for January 2011. Then try them in court for TREASON and TYRANNY. Domestic enemies they are.

Quote# 69221

Unfortunately NOTHING will happen. This bill will pass. People like me with private health insurance will lose it. People with chronic disabling diseases like my husband will be told they are no longer productive and not worth treating and die. People who work will pay higher taxes to pay for this non -healthcare healthcare. Everyone will pay more for all the goods and services we use so the companies can pay the higher taxes. And Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and all their ilk and President Obama will sit and sip fine brandy and eat a $500 dinner to celebrate triumphantly the death of America. And be re-elected at the next election.

Quote# 69121

This then spawned into a women debate, the agnostics claimed that Christianity suppress women and order them to be silent in the church. I argued that the Scripture teaches that men and women are equal, however, within this equality there is different roles. I then showed him from the Bible how a female is not allowed to preach / teach in the church and how that is a male only function. But, I stressed that it was in no ways declaring a woman lesser than a man.

Quote# 69274

Homosexuality IS a choice. Having homosexual sex is a choice AND I firmly believe even the "attraction" that they claim to have for the same sex is also a choice. God did not create anyone to be a homosexual. He made everyone heterosexual, which means everyone has heterosexual feelings and attractions. All men are naturally attracted to women, and all women are naturally attracted to men. Even those who cliam to be gay or lesbian. I believe those who choose to be with someone of the same gender do so because they have "issues" of some sort -- I would bet nearly all of them were abused or, if not that, then they have serious rebellion issues and want to be "different." Nothing else could make someone want to turn their backs on their natural attractions and go after a relationship that is completely unnatural.

Years ago it was against the law to be a homosexual. Homosexuality was seen for what it really is -- a danger to society. No, I do not advocate imprisoning or harming homosexuals in any way. But I do think we need to push back hard against the gay agenda. How did it get to the point that in today's world, we are arguing over gay MARRIAGE? HOW did it get to that point? The culture of acceptance and tolerance has gone to far. Instaed of embracing this sin and telling them its okay, we need to reach out to homosexuals and urge them to repent and change their ways before it is too late.

Quote# 69253

The matter of the Coronation Oath is a vital subject, complicated by the fact that the oath that Elizabeth swore allegiance to in 1953 was illegally altered in 1910, to remover reference to the Catholic Mass as "superstitious and idolatrous" in accordance with Article 31 of the Church of England (no wonder the C of E got rid of these articles some time back) my emphases:

The offering of Christ once made is the perfect redemption, propitiation, and satisfaction for all the sins of the whole world, both original and actual, and there is none other satisfaction for sin but that alone. Wherefore the sacrifices of Masses, in the which it was commonly said that the priests did offer Christ for the quick and the dead to have remission of pain or guilt, were blasphemous fables and dangerous deceits."

The spiritualist Conan Doyle was a prime mover in the illegal alteration of the oath, it appears.

4 years later, Britain was embroiled in the horror of WW1, a consequence that I don't believe to be coincidental.

My heart grieves for not only me and my family but for all Americans. The liberal Democrat thugs have created a Chicago style Valentine Day massacre during the celebration of of the birth Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
I will never give up the fight to stop this mad dash to hell by the Chicago thugs who run the White House. If righteous people do nothing then evil will prevail. We have to work harder. We have to work smarter.

Quote# 69182

following Sen. Tom Coburn's (R-OK) instructions to pray that someone couldn't make a manager's amendment vote Sunday night -- his prayers for Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) to die struck the wrong senator.

"Our small tea bag group here in Waycross, we got our vigil together and took Dr. Coburn's instructions and prayed real hard that Sen. Byrd would either die or couldn't show up at the vote the other night," the caller said.

"How hard did you pray because I see one of our members was missing this morning. Did it backfire on us? One of our members died? How hard did you pray senator? Did you pray hard enough?" he continued, his voice breaking.

Quote# 69086

I know what you are feeling. I had an addiction to masturbation before I became saved. The Lord personally stepped in and helped me stop it for good. Satan tempted me with it many times as well after I quit, but what kept me away from it was my desire to honor God more than do things that displeased Him. My advice to you is pray to the Lord to protect you and give you strength. Remember that we are in Christ, and we are to live to be like Him. You don't want to give Satan something to be happy about, you want him to lose. The longer you stay away from it, the less he will tempt you with it, and the "feeling" of it will start fading faster.

ACLU!! They seem to be attacking anything to do with GOD,Christ, and Religion,?
How can such a small % of the people change and make rules against what our country was/is founded about! "Freedom of Religion", is it time for us "as a populace people" to mass against them in the way they attack our freedoms! And "Nonviolently" close them down?
Now they are "demanding" that "crosses" not be used for our soldiers graves, and that Christ not be mentioned by military Chaplains! HOW DO WE STOP THEM????

There is no such thing as evolution. Saying that we originate from apes, is totally ridiculous. The key to all these events is the flood during the time of Noah(do more research if u think this story is no more than a myth). You cant assume that people are more technologically advanced with time, if you cant prove the level of technology before the flood.

There is no establishment clause, because people forget the rest of the sentance after the comma; nor prohibit the FREE EXERCISE therof. Which basically nullifies the first part of the sentance. The original intent was to neither endorse or prohibit. People need to READ their constitution. There's no excuse, it's freely available on the Internet and many organizations will give you a printed one free.

Quote# 69132

[Re: Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles]

I disagreed with the lying from the husband, the lady (almost a main character) who dresses enticingly (I know people who’ve been delivered from pornography and adultery who I hope don’t see this movie for the sake of them and the generational sin that could tempt their children). I totally disagreed with the “darn you!” in the parents' argument—power in our words—kids repeating this?! I disagreed with the “flexible” sexual innuendo, the suicide attempt (later having to explain this to a child?) and tell me why the baby had to turn into a firebaby then a devilbaby? It was ugly and made my spirit feel uncomfortable. I don’t know why it was rated PG, but I am glad it wasn’t rated G. There is a lot of violence for small kids and would probably cause my nieces and nephew to have nightmares.
My Ratings: [Very Offensive/5]

Quote# 69131

Has anyone else noticed that almost every time there is a big global warming "summit" that God seems to be mocking the lefties with extream winter weather? I noticed this long before the current Copenhagen cap & tax summit, but here we are again...Copenhagen is having a blizzard at exactly the same time as this fiasco is going on.

I heard on the radio that it hasn't snowed in Copenhagen for 14 years but I haven't been able to confirm that. If that were the case, I'd love to know for sure, as that would be pretty undeniably God.

Whether it's snowed in Copenhagen for the last 14 years or not, I do believe God is mocking Al Gore and the whole "climate change" religion, and I love it.

Lastly, as we near the eve of another Christmas, I wonder: What would have happened if Mother Mary had been covered by Obamacare? What if that young, poor and uninsured teenage woman had been provided the federal funds (via Obamacare) and facilities (via Planned Parenthood, etc.) to avoid the ridicule, ostracizing, persecution and possible stoning because of her out-of-wedlock pregnancy? Imagine all the great souls who could have been erased from history and the influence of mankind if their parents had been as progressive as Washington's wise men and women! Will Obamacare morph into Herodcare for the unborn?
