I have read a marvelous little book that explains how the enite Universe could have been made, in a mere six days, and still account for many things that evolution doesn't. For instance, the red shift. How do you explain the fact that it appears as everything in the universe is moving away from us?

Well, when God slammed earth into the universe, the shockwave repelled all other bodies, putting them in outward motion.
Or did he create the stars after earth? Someone who knows the bible surely has an equally intelligent and logical explanation.
The first two sentences make no sense at all, but the last sentence is actually a reasonable question. It shows up in intro physics classes all the time.
Here's the answer: _everything in the universe is moving away from everything else_, except for objects that are close enough together for their mutual gravity to overcome the expansion of the universe. That expansion looks the same no matter where you are. Should I start explaining the math or not?
Not everything
Adromeda is heading towards us, Galaxies have collided (Hubble has several pictures of colliding Galaxies and Broken Galaxies that are the results of two meeting) Most appear to be increasing in distance but not all
Hows this fact fit in with your Earth as centre of the universe theory?
"How do you explain the fact that it appears as everything in the universe is moving away from us?"
It's trying to get as far away as possible as quickly as possible. Can't say I blame it. Unfortunately I'm stuck on this ball of dirt with idiots like you.

Evolution is biology. It doesn’t account for much in physics, or geology, or mathematics, comparative religions, literary analysis…
What kind of a fucking moron expects evolution TO have any theories on things that aren’t biology?

That’s not biblical. The Bible describes Earth as an inside-out snowglobe. Water above is kept away by the solid sky.
The sun, stars, moon, planets are all rolling inside the sky.
There can be no red shift in the Bible’s cosmology.
Confused?
