A couple of weeks ago, I was at wal - mart and I walked pass this woman, and I don't know why, but I suddenly felt, and impression in my mind that the woman was demon possesed...Thinking to myself that this is a bad thought to have about someone I don't even know, so I continue to walk by her, and I look at some of her tattoo's and she was covered with occultic symbol tattoo's on her..(then again, maybee she wasn't possesed, I don't know)..But I thought it was strange to have that thought as soon as I seen her, then see occult symbol tattoo's on her.

Given that virtually everything is occult in your mind, the chances of a random person having an "occult tattoo" is probably better than them having red hair.
I was at wal - mart
Thanks for dispelling my stereotype of RR fundies... *headdesk*
You wouldn't know an occult symbol if it sat on you. Here's a hint, if it's occult it's hidden knowledge. Knowledge you likely don't possess in order to determine that it's actually occult. Just because you don't know what the symbol was--and likely it was some sort of Asian glyph or other such symbol you'd have no clue about and nothing more--does not mean it's 'occult' you twit.

To these dipwits, "occult" means "anything my pastor doesn't like."
But of course ,They have to be occultist they had tattoos I bet they had a nose ring and other wierd piercings on their private areas those are has you all ready know to please their evil demons lovers during the sex filled demons orgies ,
"But I thought it was strange to have that thought as soon as I seen her, then see occult symbol tattoo's on her"
I'm sure that if demons and all they can do, are constantly on your mind, it is not particularly amazing that shortly before seeing something that could be possibly construed as occultic (90% of the world's contents, apparently), you were having thoughts about demons.
What ever happened to unicorn sightings?
I'll bet you couldn't recognize an "occultic" symbol if it bit you in the ass.
You just associate tattoos with bad people and assume they're demon-possessed.
Judging people by how they look is a sure sign of being an asshole.
Are you sure you didn't unconsciously see the tatto first and then "see" it? Or was it it because she was looking and acting unoppressed, and that tipped you off that she might not be a RaptureReady person?
MysticalChicken: Isn't this a repeat? I could swear I've already read it.
That's what I thought at first as well Chicken , but the last person mentioned Albertsons and several women; this post mentions one woman at Wal-Mart. So while they're kindof the same, it's not actually a repeat.
Considering the popularity of certain tattoo designs, and the reactionary paranoia of RR, I'm almost certain that the "occultic symbols" were:
1. Japanese Kanji (because anything that doesn't look like badly-spelled American is evil).
2. Tribal patterns.
3. Biker tattoos.
It's almost certain that there were no actual "occult" symbols whatsoever, unless Glory defines "occult" to mean "anything not approved by my fellow Rapture cultists."
This sounds like a repeat because it's from the same thread about the granny with a "growl" (WTF?) spotted at Albertsons. The thread asks for examples of increased demonic activity as we head into the end times, and the rapturists are trying to outdo one another with their responses. Other signs of demonic activity cited in that thread include hearing construction workers using bad language in the street, a husband's recent heart attack, a huge credit card bill caused by identity theft, a neighbor who plays rock music too loudly, and another neighbor who stinks up the common areas in the apartment building with cigarette smoke.
In other words, anything unpleasant or even just annoying is caused by demons, and that's a sure sign that the Rapture is near.
In still other words, these people are stark-raving insane.
Oh, I dunno -- sure, they treat their employees like crap and their suppliers like crap-on-wheels, but Wal*Mart does sell useful staple items at low prices.
Strange to have that thought? Not at all. You fundamentalists are preconditioned to have thoughts like that. You believe in demons of all kinds. The demon of demonic thoughts for example.
Also, occultic is not English. OPccult is already an adjective (do you know what an adjective is?) so don't try to make it more of an adjective by adding '-ic' to it. It only shows that you have been possessed by the demon of bad grammar!
You know, a couple of weeks ago, I walked passed this woman, and I don’t know why, but I suddenly felt, and the distinct impression was in my mind, that she had no dental care. Thinking to myself that this was a bad thought to have about someone I don’t even know, I continued to walk by her and I realized that she was wearing a blue jacket with a nametag on it.
As soon as I thought that I was jumping to conclusions She smiled at me.
The resultant lack of teeth revealed to me that she was not covered by anything. She has no dental care; no health care; no benefits at all. She is a Wal-Mart employee!
All in all, I thought it strange that that blue jacket would immediately engender such thoughts.
Glory incensed, Rapturiously in Bed
Yes, it is strange to think that about a perfect stranger, or just about anyone. If you use the tattoos as proof, why would you think they're demon possessed even before you see the tattoos?
Fitting that the last post of 2007 should be from Rapture Ready.
Another year gone by without hearing that trumpet, eh folks? Never mind, i'm sure it'll happen in '08. Positive. I mean, how long has it been now? Two thousand years, give or take a century? Can't be much longer!
Until then you guy just keep rambling at each other about how it's going to happen, when it's going to happen, and who won't be coming, and i'll be here laughing at every single deranged word.
Happy new year, you pack of bloody loons!
Those woman was no more possessed than the non-existent object of your improper use of an apostrophe in "tattoo's."
God, I love grammar puns.
Confused?
