Citizen Kent Hovind, PhD in Bible Studies from an unrecognized university, has no special qualifications in biology. Even if he did, it would have no effect on the truth of what he says: arguments are evalued independently of who advances them. Yours is an appeal to authority, a textbook logical fallacy.
As it happens, he is also a tax fraud, and is currently serving prison time for his crime.
