(Will you pray for Obama if he becomes President?)
You know, that's a very good question. I am not sure if it will be legal to pray to Father God if B. O. becomes president, so this is a question that I will answer if/after he becomes president. Good day!

First of all, he's a Christian, just one who sees the practicality of take some anti-fundie approaches to politics and government.
Second of all, as a practical man, he would not even imagine banning or discriminating against any religion, least of all the one of which 75% of Americans practice. He'd be dragged onto the streets and beaten to death.
Okay, you simpleton. First off, Obama is a Christian, so why would he want to outlaw a practice that he presumably engages in?
Second, Presidents don't make laws. He couldn't outlaw it, even if he wanted to.
Third, the Congress, which DOES make laws, couldn't pass any such law, as it would be inherently unconstitutional.
Seriously, you need to seek help for that persecution complex.
If only we could create a summer camp for fundies! Something that surrouunds them with razor wire to protect the rest of us Americans that they want to control.
I know this idea has a bad history, but this time we're talking about people that are actually dangerous to sane people.
Remember, 9/11 was a faith-based initiative.
Oh for fucks sake....

Go chew on a brick. Maybe if you can convince people that mean internet peoples are forcing you to do so, you can almost have a legitimate grounds for whining about persecution. Until then, STFU.
Yeah, you FUCKTARD, Obama will have ABSOLUTE POWER. The other branches of government, the military, and the citizens are just gonna roll over and let this guy dictate new laws every time he gets the urge. You people are fucking stupid.
I love how they fail to realize that people have been saying this kind of over-dramatic crap about every single president, prime minister, etc. in every single country from the dawn of time. "If Bill Clinton gets into office, he'll ban guns and make us all hippies!" "If Bush gets into office, he'll force us all to go to church and install spy cameras in our living rooms!" "Is Obama gets into office, he'll make prayer illegal!"
Same shit here in Canada. "If the libs get back into office, they'll make us pay 100% income tax rates, turn us all gay and make us speak French!" C'est du conneries, mon ami. :)
Funny how none of that EVER happens. Even Bush, who I despise, came no where close to fulfilling the nutty doomsday predictions made about him. Even if Obama was some kind of anti-freedom dickhead (and I doubt he is), becoming president doesn't give him absolute power. There is a system in place to PREVENT such a drastic infringement of human rights from taking place during one man's reign.
Jesus-tap-dancing-Christ, is there no end to these people’s love of persecution? Even after eight years of Bush and Cheney working to give the executive branch more power then it’s ever had, the President can’t just make prayer illegal even if he wanted to. I’m an atheist and even I wouldn’t support that law.
I think they want that to happen, masochist that they are.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
