But in response, I have a little bit of knowledge of what evolution is (the big bang is associated with that theory) and it sounds corny to me. I don't know, it just sounds like some scientists can't look Jesus in the face and say 'I don't believe in you, so I'll come up with some other way to explain things'

"...I have a little bit of knowledge of what evolution is (the big bang is associated with that theory)..."
Apparently you don't have any factual knowledge about evolution. Get an education and try again.
> I have a little bit of knowledge of what evolution is (the big bang is associated with that theory)
The two theories are only related in that they both conflict with biblical literalism. Other than that, there really isn't any association.

Looking Jesus in the face would constitute evidence in favor of creationism. I hope anybody in those circumstances who doesn't believe in him would reconsider. (in before questions about verifying: the OP said "I don't believe in you," not "You are not who you say you are; he doesn't even exist," so I assume this is after the demonstration).
If you think the Big Bang is associated with the ToE, then you know very little about evolution, silly.
I can agree, if you believe that Biology and Cosmology is connected, then it must sound corny. Evolution is the ONLY evidence-based explanation for the diversity and adaptation of life-forms.
A lot of scientists are Christian/Muslim/Hindu/Jewis/etc, they have no problem believing in a god AND accept reality at the same time.
Well, of course they can't look Jesus in the face, neither can you.
And your Bible DOESN'T explain things, it's a fable collection.
“But in response, I have a little bit of knowledge of what evolution is (the big bang is associated with that theory)”
No, you do not.
And only creationists associate the big bang with evolution.
COMPLETELY disproving the BBT will have zero effect on the masses of evidence for evolution.
And evolution involves life that exists. The universe existed for about 10.6 BILLION years before anything lived on Earth. THEN evolution could start.
“and it sounds corny to me.”
A well-supported and emotion-free scientific position, i must say.
And in response, you sound like an idiot to me.
“I don't know, it just sounds like some scientists can't look Jesus in the face and say 'I don't believe in you, so I'll come up with some other way to explain things'
But… But… plenty of people who actually KNOW what evolution is don’t have to give up their belief in god to accept the evidence for the science.
So… You’re wrong at every point, here, on every level, and at every scale. Fractal wrongness.
Confused?
