Do I understand correctly that Middle Eastern Christians are largely ethnic Arabs and that they have been submissive to the Muslim majority for hundreds of years, including their dimmitude under the Ottoman Empire? As such, am I correct in understanding that they have fallen dutifully in line with Muslim hatred toward Jews, to include adopting the convenient philosophy Replacement Theology? I'm actually hoping this is the reason, rather than being forced to conclude that they have had a hate on for the Jews for two millennia.

Not Fundy.
Ignorant of Christianity and history, but better educated than ninety percent of the population. Admitting ignorance, asking questions, acknowledging bias up-front- he's well on his way toward rationality and humanism.
Christian Arabs has shown support in the past to the pan-Arabism (movement to unite the Arab states) because it let them take part in the ruling as equal to the Muslims. that's why they mostly support Nassir, Arafat, Assad and Saddam Hussein which were secular leaders.
It has less to do with the Jews and Israel than the alternative (Muslim brotherhood, Hezbollah, ISIS, etc.) where the religion become the major factor and the real oppression of the Christians begin.
Replacement theology, from what I understand, is the belief that Israel is no longer the "chosen" people, and that instead Yahweh deals with individuals rather than nations, and that the church, or community of Christians, are now the apple of God's eye. It has nothing to do with Islam whatsoever, and has been taught by many American Christians. Indeed, when I was in church, I never really heard much about Israel in the modern era, except when we veered off into politics. Besides, I'm sure this person would agree with my old church that if you are Christian, you will go to Heaven, and if you are Jewish born and devoutly follow Judaism, Yahweh has a special type of "love" ready for you.
Um, Replacement Theology is a specifically Christian idea; it comes from Europe.
To expand on what niv says, Christians have been very important in the development of Arab nationalism. For example, the development of Ba'athism would not have been possible without the work of the Christian Michel Aflaq. It is one of the reasons that nationalist movements in Arab countries have tended to appeal to minority Arab groups, such as the Alawi in Syria or the Sunnis in Iraq.
Here's the answer. The allied countries that won WW2 should have never established Israel as a Jewish state. It would never have happened or existed till now without the western worlds support, there are hundreds of countries that have forever fallen to the invaders in history, many have changed hands many time without the natives winning it back.
There is NO reason Israel HAS to be a Jewish state outside of religious garbage. NOT VALID.
This is why even Arab Christians can not only have a valid beef against todays Israel but also almost 70s years of the western worlds politics.

Yes, horrible isn't it? And Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was, although a Christian pastor, at heart just a savage African jigaboo, right?
If you ain't a WASP, you ain't a good Christian. End of story.
