The bible is an actual account and is a serious contender for the meaning of life. It cannot be disproven, if they had cameras, media and high tech recording methods like we have now, back then, Jesus would be obviously be proven to exist.

I don't know about that. The Romans recorded quite a lot and it's not found in their records. That star recieves no mention from many cultures that recorded other events (volcanos, Ruler changes, construction dates, astrological sightings)
If they had those things, it is doubtful that they would have so easily believed Jesus' ridiculous story...on the other hand, people like Badfish have access to the interweb, and look what they believe.

Unless, that is, you're inferring that an all-powerful/knowing/loving/present God created us to live in perfect harmony and happiness until the naked rib-woman was convinced by the talking snake to eat a piece of fruit from the magic tree, thus dooming Mankind for all eternity unless we worship a Jewish Cosmic Zombie who is his own father by symbolically eating his flesh and drinking his blood(to paraphrase the YouTube video "Christianity in a Nutshell)...

If they had cameras and all that stuff a hundred millions years ago we could prove to you that dinosaurs existed and not nearly as recently as 6000 years ago. That would make the bible look about as real as a three dollar bill, eh?
Furthermore if God is so smart as creating things why didn't he invent all that stuff in Jesus' era? Imagine how many more followers the egotistical bugger would have.
Sure, they didn't have cameras or high tech recording methods, but they did have writing and painting, weaving and sculpturing and other means to "record" important events.
There are even recordings of people's lives 32 000 years ago , long before your god allegedly created the world.

I wish fundys could come to believe that not every thing in these books is the ancient books is litterly true.
I especially wish they would melieve that the creation myth is just a myth and not to be taken literaly! The belief that this is literaly true is daminging america (especally education).
