You either defend and support the West, which Israel is part of, or you support the east, which is muslim and anti-civilization. If you support and defend the fakestinians, you are anti-civilization and an enemy of the West. There is no longer room for middle ground. There are no crimes against the bloody muslim savages of Gaza and the West Bank, it is called warfare and frankly I fault the Israeli's for half azzing it. Time for a modern day Carthage and call it a day, then you will have peace.

I support the right of Israel to exist within the original mandate, but not the actions of their government.
I support the rights of the Palestinian state to exist, but not the actions of their violent extremists.
The world we live in is not one of diametrically opposed opposites.
Off you go, Nimrod. Hop on a flight to Tel Aviv and let the Israelis know they're doing it wrong. Sign up for their army while you're over there.
Oh, you want someone else to do your fighting for you? Quelle surprise.
1) I'm with christian_leftie here; I support Israel's right to exist, but I do not support its government or its violent extremists. I support the existence of a Palestinian state but I do not support its government or its violent extremists.
2) There is no such thing as "the West" or "the east." On which side are NATO members Turkey and Albania? On which side is the country where I live, Kosovo, possibly the most fanatically pro-American and pro-European country on earth? All three countries have a Muslim majority.
3) Just because Palestinian national identity is not very old does not mean that it does not exist. Palestinians are real; get used to it.
4) Civilization exists in Muslim countries too.
5) There never was "any room for middle ground" with you, was there?
6) There is ample evidence of crimes having been committed on both sides that go beyond the normal rules of warfare. The trouble is that this issue is so emotive and politically charged that any comprehensive, conclusive and reasonably impartial judgement is not likely for many years to come.
7) One would have hoped that someone commenting in the Daily Princetonian would know how to spell "Israelis."
8) You allude to Cato the Elder. Let me quote Tacitus and what it would do to your own civilization, never mind the Palestinians: "they create a desert and call it peace."
There are no crimes against the bloody muslim savages of Gaza and the West Bank, it is called warfare
Warfare in itself is a crime against humanity.
So, the folks in Gaza are bloody, anti-civilization savages who deserves to be massacred, while the Israelis can and should do anything possible to commit genocide against the folks in Gaza because "it's called warfare."
No, chickenhawk, it's "war crimes" and if you were anything more than an internet tough guy, you would know the American military frowns on that sort of behavior. The USDB is full of guys who figured "it's called warfare."
Of course, you could join the IDF. They do accept Americans. However, they do conduct extensive mental testing and quite frankly, you won't pass them
"Nobody's trying to annihilate the Palestinians! But we really, really should!"
Seriously, that's what this boils down to. He claims Muslims are a bunch of savages, and yet he's the one who wants to go "Carthago delenda est" on their asses.
++"You either defend and support the West, which Israel is part of"
Introducing instant fail! Just add YOU !
And what the fuck is an "azz"?
++"Time for a modern day Carthage."
It's time to repeatedly provoke them until they grow tired of it & attack us so as to justify their wholesale slaughter & sacking to ourselves?
@Paler_Face
Though using schools to house targets and such is a more grievous fault.
Honestly, I don't see it as a black-and-white scenario. My opinion is that Israel and Palestine both have a right to self-government, but I would seriously advise that Palestine doff Hamas in favour of a less pugnacious government. I also would like Israel's government to jettison the hawkish Israeli far-right.
@Old Viking
Well, it's always good to know the caliber of America's best and brightest. I'm sure he'll be a credit to his alma mater, like W. Bush to Harvard and Yale (though God forbid he actually graduates, we have enough overqualified vermin running amok!).
Besides, didn't a certain theoretical physicist who worked in Princeton have a few choice words regarding jingoistic bullshit?
'Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind.'

Ah, right.
Israel is in the Middle East, silly.
Most of Europe is critical of the way Israel treats Palestinians. So you can be both supporting the West and criticizing Israel.
Most of the world has recognized Palestine as a state. Several countries in Europe are contemplating recognizing it, Sweden and the UK for example.

Was the American Rachel Corrie also a bloody Muslim savage? She was mowed down by an armored bulldozer in the Gaza strip.
So, your view of peace is to kill all your opponents?
"Only a Sith deals in absolutes"
A statement which, hilariously enough, is itself an absolute one. George Lucas should have thought that one through some more.
You're a monster, Drakken. You really think genocide would create anything except further chaos?
Also,
"Time for a modern day Carthage and call it a day, then you will have peace."
Even Scipio Africanus, who conquered Carthage saw that their civilization was just as good as Rome. Even he thought it was a mistake to subjugate the Carthaginians and deny them their independence and he washed his hands of Roman politics and refused to ever visit the capital again. That man had honor and were he alive and could see and understand the sort of shit you're writing he would slap the shit out of you for comparing what he referred to as, for the rest of his life, 'his greatest shame' to your genocidal wet dream.
Confused?
