If parents were concerned about adolescents having sex, it would seem more logical to worry about a 13 y/o girl having sex with a 16 y/o boy than with a 36 y/o man. The latter is in a much better position to provide for her and make a potential husband than the younger guy.

To clear things up:
An adult sexually attracted to kids of preschool and elementary school age: paedophile.
An adult sexually attracted to kids of junior high age: hebephile.
An adult sexually attracted to kids of high school age, especially the first three years: ephebophile.
She already has a parent or guardian to provide for her until she's an adult, and her molester can't provide her with the things he's stealing from her: her innocence, the rest of her childhood and her adolescence. And aside from the fact that we in civilized society don't marry children off, why would a girl's parents choose a perverted criminal as a husband for their daughter if we did?
I guess that works in that warped little mind of yours where women are only objects and not, y'know, people with feelings and doubts and problems and sometimes just mere dislikes. Also, I'm not a parent, but if I were, I'd be more concerned about my kids making sure they wear protection in bed than whether or not they have sex 'cause, to quote George Michael, Sex is natural, sex is good, not everybody does it, but everybody should.
Although please do not ask for want of your sex, for you'll find none here.
EDIT: I read 15 instead of 13, because I'm sleepy as hell. I'd probably kill a 16-year-old guy trying to touch my 13 year-old daughter, but at fifteen? Let her live, I say.
Worrying about teens fucking is more groundedly realistic but ultimately something people will have to learn is a fact of life and a stepping stone to adulthood. I'd prefer it be approached with proper education so when they do approach it they're not barely-pubescent children possibly making a terrible mistake in ignorance with only an aggressively uninformative abstinence only education to refer to that only serves to add greater appeal to the act as a taboo only adults may engage in and under peer pressure to break that taboo as a shortcut to becoming mature but instead informed young adults that understand well enough what they're getting into, hopefully possessing the good sense to wait until the potential consequences are something they can deal with or at the very least know what those consequences are and how to be safe about it.
If you were anything but a sex-obsessed loser wistfully imagining every girl that ever brushed you off in school knocking on your door exactly as they were all those years ago and begging to be yours the idea of middle-aged suitors pursuing 13 year olds would horrify you as the main reason they want immature girls in the first place is to exploit their naivete, inexperience, and the fact that the teen years are spent gowing out of a child's emotional dependency on others to develop their own self-identity and they would be in an excellent position to sabatoge that development and make the poor confused kid little more than a doll in an adult body for them to play with.
Stay the hell off the playground bucko. Paranoid parents will give a teen boyfriend the third degree but if they catch a kiddie diddler "courting" their kids third degree burns will be much more literal and probably not even the worst injury inflicted.
Modern civilization depends on prolonging childhood.
Your 12 year old daughter will be a comodity you can sell into marriage in exchange for a goat and a bag of turnips.
What Mister Spak said. Loads of creepy 36 year olds around, see posts on this site from many of those basement dwellers as the creeps are often fundamentalists and like Eric here keep coming up with excuses and scripture for pursuing very young girls.
It's used in court y'know, their religious convictions for statutory rape, even with incest cases, sadly the Bible justifies such behavior and sadly ones religious conviction often result in lighter sentences.

If he kept his mouth shut. I doubt there's a 13-year-old male anywhere who could be in that situation without boasting about it to friends, word gets to the authorities, the woman is arrested, it's over.
You think it's less worrying that a girl has sex with a man around her father's age, than with a guy her own age?
Make sure she gets an education so she can provide for her self.

I've always perceived the Nazi skinheads as being the ones who would beat someone to death at the drop of a hat. I've met non-racist skinheads (okay, I've met two - I live in Virginia, alright) and they just come across as too nice - tough, but too nice.

Most parents don't want their 13 year old daughter having sex with anyone. That's kind of like saying it would seem more logical to worry about losing an eye than a hand.
