European Spanish is a White language, what those dirty mestizo's speak is not. Even an untrained ear such as my own can tell the difference when spoken. So again I will say, I will not allow my children to be exposed to, or learn, 'spic'ish.

Funny. I went to Spain before, and I also went to Mexico. While there were certainly many differences in accent and dialect, I am pretty sure Castilian and Mexican Spanish (and all variants therein) are mutually intelligible.
Virtually every native English speaker can hear the difference between American and British English. That doesn't mean one is better than the other. It doesn't even mean that they're different languages, since Americans and Brits have little trouble understanding one other. And none of this is because most of the speakers involved are "white."
Interestingly, Parisian French speakers often have a similarly ridiculous attitude toward Quebecois French, and speakers of both mock Cajun French. Then all three varieties have at least some racist speakers who display your attitude toward African French. At the end of the day, though, they will all rally together and act like BFFs whenever they perceive any part of la francophonie being under threat. For some reason, they seem to forget that their language has 200 million speakers , not just 200. One endangered language goes extinct approximately every fourteen days. French probably won't be the next one. But I digress.

Well I'll be darned. I have trained ears, and even I can't tell without hearing it several times over, at best.
