With Red Dawn, Olympus Has Fallen, Interview, etc, etc, etc there has never been any Asian country that done any terrorism against any YT country in recent memory, but YT's haolewood goes out of its way to demonize Asians.
whereas Islamic fundamentalism is often given sympathetic portrayals by Haolewood pseudo-liberal racists.

Yes, Hollywood is indeed full of insensitive nitwits who are ignorant of anything that didn't happen 10 minutes ago. That said, I can't quite peg this guy. He's whining about prejudice against Asians, yet using a Hawaiian pejorative term, "Haole." Does it not occur to him that the indigenous Hawaiians may have been less than thrilled to see a waves of Chinese and other Asians brought in to tend sugar cane, etc. on land that used to belong to them?

You just fucking named it. Why else was The Interview never given a major release? Does cyberterrorism not count as terrorism?
And if we aren't naming countries but individuals, don't forget Cho Seung-hui.

No it fucking isn't. Go look up what actual Muslims think about how they're portrayed by movies. Hint, not very well.
Ignoring the obvious contradiction between no Asian country terrorizing the US and the recent Sony hack by North Korea, I just want to point out that the DPRK doesn't need to attack the US as a whole to terrorize it. They've managed to take many citizens who go to their shitty - I'm sorry, city - hostage to use as bargaining tools against the US. I think Hollywood is justified in taking their potshots against a regime like that.
As for sympathetic muslims in Hollywood films, have you even watched any movies since 1990?
Notice a pattern with those three movies? They all have North (Fake) Korea as the villains. Maybe it's not demonisation of Asians in general, just calling out the dictatorial North (Fake) Korea.
Also, "haole" is a native Hawaiian term. Get your geography right, bub.
Or these films needed an enemy nation to tell their story, instead of a stateless terror organization. Seeing how global the movie market is today, the only alternative which doesn’t alienate one national market or another is an isolationist nation like North Korea. Originally the baddies for the Red Dawn remake were supposed to be the Chinese, until the Hollywood bean counters realized how big a market China is.
Confused?
