There are legitimate reasons to criticise Lincoln's policy, but to assert that Lincoln was some tyrant but the Confederacy was a democratic republic is simply historical falsity.
To say that the South will rise again, tho, is downright silly.
This 14th of April will mark the 150th anniversary of John Wilkes Booth’s execution of the tyrant Abraham Lincoln. The League will, in some form or fashion, celebrate this event.
I don't think praising the assassination of past president is lawful.
And, as for tyranny, the Confederacy too suspended the Habeas Corpus and had, at the end, flying court-martials to execute deserters.

A century and a half after the fact, The League of the South thanks Mr. Booth for his service to the South and to humanity.
Andrew Johnson helped to the effort to let the South continue to oppress Blacks and Unionists.

And what did killing Lincoln accomplish, exactly? The South was still defeated and in ruins, and online petitions to the contrary doesn't ever appear to be going to secede again, despite being forced to accept same sex marriage.
I get the feeling that the "League of the South" is made up of a handful of old, crusty White guys waiting to die and a couple of four-wheelin' rednecks who spend their days drinking moonshine at nightly tailgate parties while listening to bro country. Hardly a fighting force that will rival the other 99.97% of the country.
Booth was a traitor and a fool who died in a barn, hunted down like the murderer he was.
You owe the fact that the leaders of the Confederacy weren't all hanged the way our laws say traitors should be to Lincoln and the fact that he was magnanimous in victory and merciful.
The Confederacy is dead and buried, it will never rise again.

How about a barbecue in someone's back yard followed by a nice cross burning and a symbolic lynching. Bring back those memories of the good old days.

Just for the sheer poetic justice of it all I'd like to bring up the fact the Confederacy was seriously banking on England and France to come to their rescue.
