There is no way a homosexual would paint any painting with God or Christ in it because they HATE God/Christ and they are BIGOTED towards Christianity. Not only does homosexuality corrupt one's mind, body and soul through copious amounts of fecal compression, but homosexuality has proven to be a willful mental disorder that is a biological dead end in the reproduction of the human species.

a) It's unlikely that modern terms referring to sexuality are very useful in describing people who lived 500 years ago. Michelangelo would certainly not have thought of himself as 'gay' or 'straight.' These concepts are modern cultural constructs.

It indeed must be a bit hard to love a God who deems you an abomination and would have His congregation stone you if you had the audacity to sexually express yourself (or heterosexually fornicate, or disrespect your parents.) Still, I don't hate God, because I believe that He is ever-present and quite lenient. He must be a bit more loving than His portrayal in the Bible suggests. If not, then I'm merely apt to shout a resounding "why?" If my soul ever stands before God during judgement, it will have a bunch of theological questions to pose under the assumption that the Bible is an inerrant glimpse into God's mind. Why Hell? Why capital punishment for acting on a seemingly fixed inclination that isn't inherently harmful to others? Why capital punishment for offenses that seem minor from a contemporary perspective? Why the ambiguity about prerequisites for salvation, or other components of proper worship? Why the dead Egyptian firstborns? Why the 42 mauled children who mocked Elisha? Why the other seemingly disportionate instances of divine retribution? Why Does God, as shown in the Bible, hate us?

There is no dichotomy of gays/Christians. These two things are not opposites to each other. There are gay Christians, there are many Christians who don’t have a problem with gay people.
This is all in your mind, you somehow got convinced that being anti-gay is something essential to Christianity, when in reality it is barely mentioned in the Bible (especially in the NT) and your (alleged) founder prioritized other things, like charity and forgiving.
