God is infallible and perfect, the scriptures clearly define that, and also the Bible says that all scriptures are of divine inspiration (literally god-breathed). This is all that needs to be said.

If you admit that, believe that with all conviction. Then you know your God's mad, as in crazy fruitbar with extra nuts mad. Zeus was a prick but he never whiped an entire city off. Do us a favour and read the Bible someday, at least read one entire book.
Round and round we go, and no. Your bible is fables stolen from ancient Egypt, Babylon and Sumeria. Nothing 'divinely inspired' about it.
And to quote George Carlin, if your god is so infallible and perfect, I would like to see him/her make a rock he/she can't lift.
Not only is it CLEARLY circular logic, but "divine inspiration" (and I can't believe that this doesn't bother true believers even slightly) still means that FUCKING PEOPLE WROTE THESE BOOKS! You can say they are God-breathed until you're blue in the face, but by your own admission it's a fallible, imperfect human being putting his pen to the page and playing secretary to Jesus. THAT should bring pause to anyone who wants to claim that the Bible is the word of the God, even if they buy the idea of divinely inspired writers as anything more than ridiculous and unverifiable, because divinely inspired still ultimately means that a mere mortal man is responsible for the record. You might as fucking well be asking the guy who talks to Jesus in his dreams if you want to know the "word of God" through a means where it is so easy for you to be bullshitted.
Which scriptures? The original autographs, which no longer exist and cannot be referred to? The KJV? The NIV? The Vulgate? The Geneva Bible?
If you say that all modern versions are divinely inspired, why is there so much discord between the various Christian factions about the validity of this or that version? If you say that only your favorite version is valid, then please verify this assertion by comparing them to the original autographs (which, as I have stated, no longer exist).
Clearly there is a lot more to be said. Hopefully it will be said by some one who, unlike you, has actually put some thought into this issue.
Confused?
