The trouble with the definitions of "liberal" and "conservative" is NOT with the definitions. The trouble is with the people claiming the application of said definition.

How are they denying free thought, free speech? Aren't you doing the same when you berate them for what they say about Climate Change, Evolution, tolerance of other sexual orientations, disbelief?
Most of the rest of the world thinks it was Bush Jr’s term in office that was directly responsible for the fall of the US of A (and it dragged the rest of the world with it). Most of the rest of the world sees your Liberals as center-right or just right-wing.
And no, that’s a fairly new definition.
