"Do you have enough contraception to outlaw abortion?" Is the new "Will there be enough jobs for all the slaves you want to free?"

"If they're really against abortion, they'd be making contraception free and available for everyone who wants it. But really, they're just anti-consequence free sex."
No, that's not it. They believe birth control pills cause abortions. They are pill abortions instead of suction abortions. Replacing suction abortions with pill abortions does not prevent abortions.
No, there will never be enough contraception to outlaw abortions. Contraception reduces the need for abortions significantly, but they are only about 95 percent safe, so abortion needs to be available for the times when the contraceptive doesn't work, or when there is something wrong with the embryo/fetus, or if the health of the woman is threatened, and in cases of rape.
The slaves were working before they were freed, weren't they? Apparently the work is there, the only question is if someone is willing to pay for it (although slaves were "paid" room and board, sort of).
I don't see the connection, at all. I'm going to assume that it's your mind that is befuddled, Sammy, not mine.
Um... correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the answer to that question "yes"? I'm not sure if that was the point or not...
Admittedly, it doesn't detract from it being a stupid question. Or a stupid sentiment. Do I have to remind people of the tales of old, back in the days when it WASN'T legal? The damage to young women?
*sigh* Some people just don't learn...
@Ivurm
"If you listen closely you can hear the whistling noise that the point is making as it soars over his head."
Yes. And it can be summed up in the semi-O'Neill Cylinder orbital habitation in the Neill Blomkamp film "Elysium". Which little Sammy here clearly hasn't seen, or he would .
Particularly the point of that film: Overpopulation. [/Soylent Green]
And it's been said that there is no such thing as a stupid question. This is proof that there certainly is such thing as a stupid question, asked by a stupid person.
Some people have no business owning a computer.
Even with high use of contraception there will still be abortion (contraception isn't 100% effective), but it will be reduced, so there should be no effort to outlaw abortion. This is especially true when rapists will still shun condoms and this would not prevent potentially dangerous pregnancies from occurring. Besides, who has ever used this argument? I've never heard anyone use it, and it makes little sense; have you just fabricated it to strengthen your point? I think so.
The same people who are against abortion are invariably against sex education, easier access to birth control, easier access to prenatal care and welfare, food stamps and Medicaid to help poor mothers after the birth. They're not against abortion - they don't give a rat's butt for children before or after birth; they're against non-procreative sex. Restricting abortion is just another way to punish people for what they see as their sexual "immorality".
The answer to the second question is "Yes", because the jobs the slaves were doing still needed to be done, with the only differences being that the workers had to be treated like human beings instead of property, and get paid.
The answer to the first question is "No", because you fuckers have the gall to tell a women she's not allowed to have sex unless she agrees to carry any possible baby to term. Even if she's raped.
Confused?
