I think he failed to understand that the earth isn't a static object. The earth has undergone billions of years of change, from mountains forming to mountians disappearing. So why couldn't there be a piece of ocean floor that got pushed towards the surface?

Because they seem to assume that God created the world, and thus it's static and only 6000 years old.
Try to follow along, mj. Millions of years ago the continents and, thus, the oceans were in different places. Also, the elevation of any given area may have been substantially different, that is, some areas that today are dry land used to be underwater. Are you getting it now?

first off, TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK YOU RETARD. secondly, ummm, well you see, the earth is not static, its surface changes, if you need proof of this go look up the word "earthquake" or "continental drift". what was once a desert might have been a sea floor (salt lake city utah anyone?) etc. In summary, learn omething about geology before posting about it you ignorant #%/@
