God tells men to love their wives as their own bodies, so a Christian man would not want to hurt his wife.
However, a husband can not rape his wife. She permanently gave her body to him at the marriage altar. If she witholds sex from her hubby then she is disobeying God and depriving him, and he has every right to have sex with HIS wife. Just as she has every right to have sex with her hubby. The Bible says that once you get married, your bodies belong to your spouse. I hate it when people say stuff about men raping their wives. It is not rape if you use something that was permanently given to you.

No, the man is supposed to treat the WOMAN like a cum dumpster. After all, she's his property.
Homer Simpson [grabs Marge's hand, flaunts her wedding ring]: You see this? That means SHE'S MINE AND I OWN HER!
Mrs Enigma, is your blood type AB- by any chance?
Just curious because your brain seems to employ "use" where you should select "abuse"?
I'm also assuming you'll have trouble with the following phrase.
Heaven absent does not mean heaven sent !
What you think is 'normal' behaviour is in fact disturbingly abnormal!!

Here is the lovely Mrs Enigma, presumably with the product resulting from her hubby using her body, his property.
ps Yahweh, not sure if it is ok to post photos of the fundies..... if not ok then delete it.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?!
Aaagh! Does he have the right to kill his wife too? What about just beat her to a pulp? What about force her to have sex with other men?
"Just as she has every right to have sex with her hubby."
Yea, because a woman married to an abusive, rapist asshole is in the best position to both want to rape her husband and to actually carry it out. And you know, a mutually-raping relationship is just as healthy as a respectful, loving relationship.
Here is some funny (sad) stuff from Mrs Enigma's blog.
My hubby used to be an atheist. He would read the Bible some, but he read the Tao Te Ching (or however it goes) too. It was just an interesting old book to him.
Then he saw some Kent Hovind creationist videos (and yes I know that Kent Hovind talks arrogantly, and says some kinda weird stuff), but anyway, these videos got him interested in the possibility that creationism was not a blind faith, but could actually have some substance.
So, after searching, He found Jesus, and is a Christian now.
He likes Ken Ham’s stuff. You know, Answers in Genesis (AIG). He also has The Case for Christ and The Case for Faith, and a number of other books on creationism science.

Sierra - I think you may have found her secret kink. Non-con! Perhaps combined with light ownership fantasy, among others.
Nice and healthy, really, especially when compared with some of the other stuff on this site. Still, projecting fantasies onto others is a big no-no, especially when it's non-con.
God gave us the earth and the animals too, so if you'll excuse me, Mrs. Enigma, I've got to go screw some sheep.
So if you and I ever get married, Mrs. Enigma, I'll rape you every night. You wont mind, it seems.
Pfft.
This woman obviously does not grasp the sense of the word "rape." It does not mean just sex; it means forced, brutal sexual assault, and she is being deliberately obtuse in ignoring that.
As for her husband, he is simply an idiot if he could go from atheism to fundyism via Hovind and Ham! Evidently his initial atheism was not the result of critical thinking in the first place, or he would never have become a fundie.

Jeez, Mrs. E, keep that quiet. You don't really want the world to know that you are pro-rape and married to someone dumb enough to be converted by Dr. Dino, do you?
<<<God tells men to love their wives as their own bodies, so a Christian man would not want to hurt his wife.>>>
Well, ignoring the counterexamples and the inevitable No True Christian fallacy, this is something good religion can provide, albiet at a cost.
<<<However, a husband can not rape his wife.>>>
I agree, but the "however" part fills me with a sense of foreboding....
<<<She permanently gave her body to him at the marriage altar.>>>
Ha! I knew it! You were using a different and bizarre meaning of "can't rape." You seem to be laboring under the impression that marraige is still a slave contract, so I'll be happy to inform you that you are wrong. Wives have not been considered slaves for a very long time now.
<<<If she witholds sex from her hubby then she is disobeying God and depriving him...>>
The problem with religion-based morality is that even the sensible rules have unnecessary exceptions.
<<<...and he has every right to have sex with HIS wife.>>>
Yes, he does, provided that she agrees to it. If his wife does not wish to have sex with him, he may not have sex with her. If he does, he is raping her. Marraige has nothing to do with it. I posted earlier, commenting that many fundies are unable to understand the concept of spousal rape.
<<<Just as she has every right to have sex with her hubby.>>>
Quite true. A woman does have a right to have sex with her husband, provided that he agrees with it. I'd be willing to speculate that men rape their wives more often than women rape their husbands, but both happen. ...Say, are you taking this position because you rape your husband?
<<<The Bible says that once you get married, your bodies belong to your spouse.>>>
So, if a man has sex with his wife, he's actually masturbating?
<<<I hate it when people say stuff about men raping their wives.>>>
I hate it when I hear about men raping their wives. I really wish it would never happen, and it bothers me when it does happen, and I hear about it. Something (your post) tells me that this isn't quite the reason you had in mind, though.
<<<It is not rape if you use something that was permanently given to you.>>>
Quite true but irrelevant, since your spouse's body is NOT permanently given to you. I wonder; is your husband nice to you, leaving you with no perspective and no experience to make you think twice? Or are you in an abusive and nasty marraige, but don't consider yourself worthy of the right to control your own body? If the former is true, then shut up. If the latter is true, then get a divorce. It's your right.
Honey, we are going to have sex now whether you like it or not! Remember, god says I own you now.
Yeh, that soudns romantic :(
Rape is defined as sexual activity against one's own will. If a man has sex with an unwilling woman, it's rape, whether they're married or not. The wife doesn't give her body to her husband. They become "one flesh" which means they are so close as if they are one person. You are one twisted prostitute.
And by the way, if a husband is considerate and loves his wife, he will understand if a woman says no, for a number of reasons. Because if he procedes, he's doing that for lust, and that is the ultimate selfish thing that leads to sin, because his needs and desires finish when HER needs and desires begin. Period darling.
I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm assuming that the husband who forces himself on his wife will have the compassion to satisfy himself and leave her alone if she is sick, tired, just not in the mood, or pregnant?
Why do fundies find it so hard to understand that loving couples have an unspoken agreement about sex - that it is to be given and taken as both parties mutually decide?
Ah, Conservative Christianity. Where marriage turns your body into someone else's property.
Hey, look, people ought to agree not to twist and mangle their bodies in ways their loved ones might find tasteless and so on, but...
YOU OWN YOUR OWN FUCKING BODY.
Christ-tards.
I don't remember uttering the words "I hereby give you permanent access to my nether regions" at the altar.
I'd guess most normal men want to have sex with someone who want to have sex with them.
Do women have the right to take their husbands shopping whenever they want too? After all, that husband's body is very useful for carrying all the purchases.
Foot-rubs and back-massages whenever the wife wants them too, of course. If he's withholding them, he's disobeying God!
Confused?
