[So God wanted that raped girl to get pregnant? Even worse, did He want her raped.]
No not necessarily. God knew that it would happen. He knew that guy would go too far after she said No and do things to her that she didn't want. God took this sin committed by someone to bring in something beautiful- A new life to hopefully become part of his family. God doesn't make people sin, he just uses our sin, our imperfections, to make something out of it.

Ah! But they do it all in God's name, NotMe. And everything God does is moral, because He will write the rules so that it is moral, even if it was immoral prior to that. 'Cause He's God and can do that. Tee-hee!
So, the good and loving, omnipotent, omniscient, God who is love itself and whose judgements are true and righteous altogether, and whose tender mercies are all over his works, sat by and let this girl be raped?
One might think such a powerful and benevolent God might find other ways to add to "his family."
How is it possible that anyone could do something that God did not intend? God is all-powerful and all-knowing by fundamentalist definition. If that is so, then it is never possible for anyone to do anything that God does not intend for that person to do, because to do so would mean that person had defeated God's intentions, which would relegate God to being less powerful than humans.
Scotty - Haven't you seen the latest financial figures for Heaven, Inc.? Oil prices have really hurt their stock value. Recently God had to cut 23% of his angels and 45% of all seraphim. His archangel even had to accept a pay cut, and some functions have been outsourced to Purgatory (much cheaper labor there). So it's no surprise that God has to resort to some "unusual" measures to ensure babies get made.
>>I don't know what's worse- believing rape is ok because God allows it to happen, or befriending your Aunt's rapist and inviting him over for the family reunion.

Why stop there? Combine both! God really MEANT for your aunt to be raped, and therefore the rapist was carrying out God's will and thus it's your duty to befriend him.
"How is it possible that anyone could do something that God did not intend?"
That's my question. They'll sit there and insist that what the rapist did is bad and evil and disgusting and abhorrent and of course God had nothing to do with that, but that God will actively intercede after the rape, form the zygote, and completely change the woman's life.
WTF. Why not intercede and have the rapist get hit by a bus? Wouldn't that make a little more sense?
Now, if God were actually smart, he would make sure that if somebody rapes another person they get a Xenomorph embryo implanted in their chest. That way the rapist still gets punished for being a stupid selfish asshole (Nothin' says 'You Fucked Up' like an alien embryo popping out of your chest), and a beautiful new life is also created:

So cuuuuuuuuttte!!!
After reading Ted's post I was reminded of a scene from Spaceballs. "Oh God, not again!" *Passes out and a chesatburster pops out and sings Rag Time Gal.*
That would be justice. Not only does the rapist have to experience the blunt force equivalent of a c-section, but we get a musical performing alien to amuse us all!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
